5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for a Newbie

Pros: I love the huge size of this case! Definitely great for over compensating ;). Has great space and room for more HDD. The stock fans are all extremely quiet,

Cons: The only con I could really come up with is that, for a guy built his first computer with this case, the labeling of the front panel coords could have been better. But that was all solved with google.

Other Thoughts: I would get this case again.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Case!

Pros: I helped a friend build his computer in this. The case is so aesthetically pleasing. It looks like a night club! You can cycle between a small group of colors, or set it to automatically cycle itself! (red, blue, green, and purple??? i think?? I don't own it yet). The side panel has plenty of viewing room for the parts, especially nice if you have a power supply that lights up! The hdd bays make installation stupid easy. Honestly, the whole building process was much easier in this case than any case I've worked with. Its almost elementary. I'm buying this case very soon as I was instantly envious of my friends build when we completed it.

Cons: The only trouble (and very slight trouble) I had were the plug ups for the front I/O's, but follow the mobo and case manuals. They're a little tricky. No eggs off for that, though. Some people say the case is too big. I disagree. The bigger, the better for me. It could be even bigger and I'd be fine with it, but that's not complaining.

Other Thoughts: Great for beginner builders with large hands like I have, and even better for veteran builders who are tired of wrestling with cables and screws.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic case

Pros: -Lots of room
Cools very well just using standard fans... I live in Texas, it gets to be 40C here, and we let it get 30C in the house, still keeps my cpu under 50
-Hot-swap Dock is amazing and have fallen in love
-Plenty of 5" drive bays, and even more 3.5" and 2.5"
-Side window is well placed, not showing bottom part
-Low and High Fan settings
-Mostly solid construction
-Easy to build in
-Every intake is filtered
-Looks BOSS!

Cons: Very hard to move around, I would not say too heavy or big for a computer but with how much it does weigh and how big it is, your default method of picking it up would typically be to grab it by the bottom front, and top rear which is a HUGE NO! with this case. Both are the pry off points for the panels, to the designers out there who made this, bad, no! Most people who try and move it the first time either rip the panels off or get it off the ground in time for me to yell to put it back down. As a collage student who moves in and out of dorms, this aspect is horrid, which removes half a star. The other half is offed by the cheaply constructed little things, which all thing considered is why this case does not cost twice as much as it does. But just to notify you things I would say feel cheap are: headphone rest (keep mine folded away and am just waiting for it to rip off), the feet, the drive bay tray lock-ins, and EVERY filter, broke one of the locks on the front filter, and cracked the other on first taking it out, and they all have the mesh over hanging with jagged edges and lose threads.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind all and all this is one of the best cases I have ever used, and is by far going to stay my main rig's case. I would recommend for someone moving around a lot to get a different one, like a CM storm scout, but this thing is great. The fans do get loud when you turn them up, but do the job well and get quiet when they are on low. If neither of those are a reason not to buy this case, then you have no reason to not buy this case.... buy it... now

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

Pros: *Sturdy Build
*Plenty of interior space & fan mounts
*Front and top panels pop off easily to access fans
*Dust filters on all air intake areas
*Simple control panel

Cons: *Only comes with 3 fans, two 200mm and 1 120mm
*Only has one 2.5" SSD bay and it has to be mounted in the 5" ports
*Seems like too many 3.5" bays, I believe 6 in total.

Other Thoughts: The case is overall fantastic. It has many unique features I didn't expect to get for $100. The build quality feels very sturdy and there are many mount locations for 120mm, 140mm, and 200mm fans as well as liquid cooling radiators. The control panel is well placed on the top front of the case with all requisite jacks. The led fans are very visible but can be turned off if that's not your style as long as they are connected to the mobo rather than the psu. Only complaint is the one 2.5" SSD bay which comes in the form of a cheap black piece of plastic that has to be mounted in the 5" bays usually for CD/DVD drives which is a good distance from other HD bays. For how many HD bays there are they definitely could have included something better for an SSD. Great case though!

5 out of 5 eggsMassive case massive awesome

Pros: This is a great case if you want to have massive airflow or a wicked liquid cooling setup. This case also leaves A LOT of room for cable management with plenty of space on the backside of the case to thread all of your cables through. The futuristic design and lighting are really nice looking if you are into flashy cases as I am. Installation of all your HDD's and optical drives is easy as sliding them into place with the tool-less design. This case is also deigned to be able to fit any GPU on the market in it with its massive 12" clearance room for Pci-e slots.

Cons: The only criticism that some people may have about this case is that it is TOO big. I personally like having an impressive case to make up for the lack in my self esteem lol. Another thing that some may take issue with is its overall design which is edgy, futuristic, and flashy.

Other Thoughts: I suppose it is all a matter of preference though and if you like big flashy "gamer" cases than this is perfect for you and at a reasonable price. I had an incredibly simple time hiding all of my wires in the rear panel making for a clean, efficient, super cool system with high airflow. Get this case if you want almost endless options for installing components, you will NEVER run out of room for them.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: The case is beautiful. It provides plenty of bays for both hard drives as well as media players. In addition to a spacious interior which provides plenty of upgrade room, the case boast easy to remove dust filters, to keep the computer nice and clean. It does provide a built in LED light system, however you can keep it turned off, as I do.

In regards to cooling:

The case comes with 3 large fans, posted in the following areas. One large 240 mm fan on the top of the case blowing air up and out of the case. One 120 mm fan at the back of the case, blowing air out. Finally, it has one 120 mm fan located in the front pulling air into the case, as well as providing air flow over the hard drive and media docking bays. The fans speed can be adjusted between high and low settings with the external button, located between the LED light controls and Reset button.

In addition to the fans the case is covered in ventilation holes. The entire front consist of ventilated removable plates. The plates have a foam filter for dust protection; the plates are easily removable without tools and easily cleaned. The top of the case is also ventilated, and removes in one piece for easy cleaning of the filters as well as the fan. Finally the bottom has some ventilation which is covered by an easy to remove filter.

The case side panels are removed with the use of decent sized finger screws. Also, the case provides adjustable feet, that allow different stability configurations while providing over an inch of clearance from the ground allowing air to inflow under the system.

The last two parts of the system I'll mention are convenience parts. The first is a head set holder, located on the side of the case that has the window. While the concept is interesting, I personally don't use or particularly like the execution of the design. Its the only piece on the case that feels "cheap. I honestly wish this piece was removable from the case, however it appears that the hanger is permanently attached to the case.

The other convenience aspect is the external docking bay for an internal hard drive. While I haven't used this aspect of the case, I like the idea, and its placement doesn't bother me.

Cons: Well there aren't many cons, as I stated, I'm not a fan of the head set hanger, I think its a bit hokey in its execution. Otherwise the only thing I would change would be the button layout. I'd place the Reset button elsewhere, to avoid any accidents. That being said, I haven't used it yet without meaning to.

Other Thoughts: Its a great full size case, with excellent air flow and a nice design. Anyone wondering if they should purchase the case shouldn't hesitate. It's a lovely case!

5 out of 5 eggsVERY Pleased

Pros: This is my very first real case for my gaming PC. Originally it was in a confined case chosen by the local PC store I *USED* to depend on for all my PC needs. Over the past two years not only have I been converted from console gaming to PC gaming(thank you, thank you lol)...I also learned a bit how PC building works. I knew my old case was poorly made. Too confined, which lead my gamimg parts to be VERY hot. Originally I sought out only for a new CPU cooler and learned that for a proper one, its gotta be fairly large. Which lead me to needing a brand new case. The Thermaltake (particularity THIS model) is the only one that truly stuck out to me. I HAD to have it! Watched the Newegg review and even a few Youtube reviews. ALL were happy with it. I ordered the case, an extra 200mm blue LED Coolermaster fan and a Coolermaster CPU sink. The case arrived in only two days on a free shipping 7-10 day expectancy! I opened it up and my jaw dropped LOL This case is BEAUTIFUL! And built with strong materials. No cheap plastic gimmicks all over the place. Even the mesh inside the frames which I expected to be plastic...are actually steel! The front logo is made of metal as well. Whatever of the case that is plastic is very strong and durable. Everywhere but the feet which I'll explain in the Cons. Its been a month and I still can't stop running a hand over the case sometimes as it even feels strong. I "built" my rig for the first time with this case too. Very easy to do. I took a lot of pride and had fun putting my computer together. And successfully with no errors when I powered her up! The size of it made me give my PC a new name, too. Agnis (dunno just looks like a Agnis to me) There is plenty of room in this case. I was only concerned with some reviews where some thought the back where you tuck in the cords was too confined. I got it all tucked in nice and neatly though. A tight fit, yes, but not where it causes the side panel to bulge out. My rig is cooled with fans only, no water cooling (not ready to brave that yet lol) but I can see how water cooling could easily be implemented here if or when I'm ready to do it. The top and back exhaust fans are powerful. Its actually better than the extra Coolermaster fan I bought for the side panel mount. The fans light up brilliantly and the stock fans are super quiet, even on High. I plan to complete the case with a extra 200mm top fan later. The screw-free HDD docks and optical drives was fun and simple to use. Extra filters in the case just puts it all together as icing on the cake. My old case would be quite dusty after a month. This new case however I was impressed with how little dust there was inside it.

Cons: -There *could* be a lil extra room to fit the cords in the back side panel.
-Make sure your Motherboard has a built in 3.0 USB port or you won't be able to use them.
-The reset button is a little misleading. It has a clear triangular cut as part of the button, which I thought was just a LED for HDD usage. But it isn't. So be careful not to get curious and touch it when in the middle of doing something important on your PC!
-There is no LED to indicate when your HDD is working. Not really a con, but to me its something I need to get used to.

These last two are the TRUE cons everyone can agree on:

-The thing is HUGE and HEAVY. And picking it up to move it when you need to clean it is a daunting task. Awkward picking it up as the top and front of the case easily snap right off. I grab it at the very bottom of the front and use the spare grommet holes in the back to lift it up.
-The feet are actually the cheapest part of the case as they are hollow and with no rubber padding. Not good if your case is on a wood surface or anything that's easy to scratch. Make sure you got something underneath it.

Other Thoughts: Overall, first time builders like myself and experienced builders alike should love this case. Easily. There are cons listed but the positives way overrule the negatives. Yes!
