3 out of 5 eggsGreat case bad LCS!

Pros: This case has an excellent design for easy upgrading and maintenance. The Drives are easy to access and there is ample space.

Cons: Upon receiving the Thermaltake Level 10 GT LCS I removed the case from the box and opened it using the case keys. I read the instructions thoroughly before moving on to assembly when I went to do a parts check everything was there. I assembled the system carefully and all the liquid cooling tubes were installed properly and secured with silicon tape. I filled the coolant reservoir with the coolant that the case comes with and didn't notice any leaking immediately until I ran the system. It leaks instantly from the front turbine. This turbine is in the worst place ever for maintenance and is nearly inaccessible without a great deal of effort. I was unable to see exactly where the leak was in order to try and seal it. The liquid cooling system was a nightmare and was very cheap. I do not recommend the liquid cooling system that is shipped with this case.

Other Thoughts: I only had this case for one day. I love the layout and would recommend this case to anyone but steer clear of the LCS version. If you want to do a liquid cool system you are better off buying a high quality LCS and installing it yourself. The components that I installed did not leak at all but the components that were pre-installed with the case such as the reservoir and turbine leaked all over the place. Very dissapointing.

2 out of 5 eggsthis thing is problem matic

Pros: Nice case nice layout very clean and crisp easy to work on things and easily accessable

Cons: flow meter leaked due to a crack. the radiator is aluminum and the block is copper with acrylic plastic top mix of metals will cause errosions and leaks frying my 3800 dollar investment. less than 8 months and have cracks in the reserve tank and now the pump quit. all in all this was a trash build for liquid cooling.

Other Thoughts: I do not wish for them to fix the problems I've ran into. I plan to replace the pump with a swift tech all in one reserve tank lessen the chances of leaks

1 out of 5 eggsOne egg for the LCS system

Pros: Roomy, Great Cable management. Awesome looking Case

Cons: Better of with Thermaltake Level 10 GT and installing a custom liquid cooling. Thermaltake's Bigwater 850 is turns out to be not as great as advertized. It is low quality and has low cooling efficiency. The CPU block was the first thing that I ended up replacing because it didn't provide a acceptable thermal exchange my CPU temps were at 67C degrees. In couple of months the system started to leak (reservoir). The pup is good enough only for CPU and maybe for one video card. The radiator is ok I guess but I am planing to Replace it with the same size but a better efficiency. The price difference that you end up overpaying for a system that is not worth it.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Reckochet,
We at Thermaltake apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We can replace that defective LCS unit through warranty service. Please contact our customer service team for RMA instructions.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love the case to death basically because its my first build for myself =), lots of room great cable management up to a degree anyhow had to do some tweaking to clean it up with my setup did take awhile actually but got it done, everything was easy to install except the 5.25 bay was a bit of a hassle to screw in. As many others have said looks great has a unique look to it, Had no problems removing any of the paneling or putting it back on

Cons: Unsure as of yet about the water system after reading into it since it arrived I'm almost scared to run it. I havent ran the machine yet still waiting on a couple final items to arrive, As for anything else I can't think of any I got the lga 2011 adapter included with my kit and all the other bells and whistles I've heard others say they didn't they must of started including all that. So no can't think of any overall I'm very satified

Other Thoughts: Bought it unfortunately before reading to much into it. I read all these great reviews and videos and it had a water system in it something I've never had. I knew it wasn't going to be as good as a custom built system but I wouldn't know where to begin on that subject just figured it would be a good start for me and I could just build on it. But after it arrived I start see all these complaints not just here but all over the net about leaking the pump and everything but mainly just the aluminum radiator and the corrosion. It's suppose to be coated to prevent that and iI will be using distilled water with Fesser Base and kill coils so it should be fine but on the other hand I've already invested so much into this project somewhere over 5k I dont want the radiator blowing on me. So I at least went out and bought a new radiator from koolance today to be on the safe side should arrive in a few days I hope and guess just keep a close eye for any leakage for now until I can learn enough about water systems to start replacing the rest.

3 out of 5 eggsLooks nice but leaks

Pros: Looks awesome, Very spacious. Love the cable management system to hide all the wires. With 5 large fans this thing is pretty quiet. Keeps your stuff cool!!!!

Cons: For 369.00 it shouldn't leak. I saw some people stated they had leaks and chalked it up to a lemon here and there but mine started to leak right away. It leaked somewhere near the reservoir by the front panel.
Refund

Other Thoughts: Love Thermaltake's but this one kind of left a sour taste in my mouth about liquid cooling.

4 out of 5 eggsThermaltake Level 10 GT LCS

Pros: It is a big, roomy, great cable management, quite ( with different water cooling fans or with originals on low speed).

Cons: Liquid cooling is a not as good as expected. I recommend to replace the block, and piping. because on mine with 2011 socked it would run it on 60-70 C where as coolance 370 in 40's C. I should of bought a regular and installed water cooling myself.

Other Thoughts: Gave it a 4 because of the water cooling joke. The water cooling need a defined upgrade unless you are running old hardware.

1 out of 5 eggsCorrection to my previous review

Pros: Fantastic case. See my previous review.

Cons: Just like everyone else, my pump started to leak at the flow meter. I tried to use a silicone sealant which helped for a week, but the leak came back. I tried slathering on more sealant but it didn't help.

I ended up ordering a new pump/res from Koolance (RP-1005BK 1kW) which showed me how incompetent the TT pump was. The new pump is fantastic and cleared out all air without needing to shake the computer.

Other Thoughts: The case is still fantastic, but the LCS is so miserable. I've had to replace the radiator and the pump/res. The CPU waterblock is mediocre, but luckily hasn't failed yet. At this rate, it's a complete possibility.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case, OK Liquid Cooling

Pros: The case is slightly smaller than a full ATX tower, just because of the bells and whistles taking up space, but even then you will have plenty of space. I saw this case at PAX on Saturday with 3-way SLI GTX 680s with room to spare.

The various features are all nice. In particular the gigantic fans allow for great airflow, the removable and washable dust filters make cleaning a breeze, and the right side is designed for great cable management.

The case can be loud or quiet. The case fans have a high/low settings. The radiator fans have a dial. Leaving them at low speeds is sufficient for cooling and very quiet.

For the money the DIY water cooling is good except for the radiator (see cons). The pump is quiet, and powerful enough to pump through a CPU and GPU waterblock. There were no leaks with my case, and the GPU temperatures are kept nice and cool.

Temps:
GPU 24/44C idle/load (very good)
CPU 30/55C idle/load (meh)

Cons: The brilliant engineers at Thermaltake decided to mix a copper CPU waterblock with an aluminum radiator. It's not a good idea to mix metals in a waterloop, especially aluminum. You get galvanic corrosion. Thermaltake support said not worry about it, that the radiator inside is coated to prevent aluminum contacting the water, and that the coolant helps prevent corrosion. Even then, after 2-3 years you will risk a leak. Buy a copper radiator, better safe than sorry.

The CPU waterblock is not great. It's only a little better than a stock air cooler. However if you're a gamer like me, the CPU is not a bottleneck, the GPU is. So this isn't a big issue.

Left main panel is a little tricky to get back on its swivel pins.

Missing a connection pin to the side fan, so the LED stays blue and won't shift colors. Minor annoyance.

Radiator fans point the wrong way. They suck air in which means I had 4 fans sucking air in, and only one exhaust. Flipping them around is easy enough.

Other Thoughts: The reservoir was easy to fill. The squirt bottle didn't leak. You will have to remove the 5.5 drive bay above the reservoir to refill the loop. Changing coolant with the same bottle will be easy enough. I don't know how I can break the loop down though.

IMPORTANT: If this is your first water cooling attempt, this is DIY so make sure to do your homework! There are some great guides and videos to water cooling that will make your life easier.

I bought this on a different site, so I'm not a confirmed owner. Maybe I'll upload a video though later.

4 out of 5 eggsThermaltake Level 10 GT LCS

Pros: Beautiful case overall. Good quality construction.. yes, there's some plastic... big deal.. love the interior space and the cable management system. Really enjoy being able to swap harddrives without having to take apart half my PC. Great airflow, This case is HUGE which I enjoy as well... and very quiet. It's certainly a conversation piece... very sharp.

Cons: The liquid cooling system started to leak about a week after I bought it. Called Thermaltake April 3rd in the early afternoon, was told the replacement part would be shipped out that same night. Today is April 7th and I still haven't received it. Huge disappointment but I was warned. even still, being the ONLY regretable thing about the case and given my stance on liquid cooling, and the fact that it IS a pretty case, I will only drop 1 egg. See "other thoughts" below..

Other Thoughts: I was not a fan of liquid cooling to begin with as I am aware there's a little more maintenance required than your average air cooled system... yet I opted with liquid cooling probably because it was.. well.. cool, I suppose. So it starts leaking 1 week after I buy it and I am forced to shut the system down for some time to remove all the work I had done to install it. While I'm waiting on Thermaltake to send me the replacement I put in a stock CPU Cooler, a 200mm fan over the area on top where the radiator sat and a nice, 2 bay, touch screen fan controller on the face of the box and my PC is very very cool (literally and figuratively) so I'm probably leaving it this way and storing the LCS in my closet once it comes in, waiting on the next yard sale.. In retrospect I could have gone with my instincts and gotten the Thermaltake Level 10 GT (no LCS) and would have had the same beautiful case and none of the headaches and would have cost me $130.00 less.. Indeed you live and learn.
