Thermaltake Armor Series line of high-performance computer chassis have long been regarded in the computer enthusiasts community as one of the most versatile and high-performing gaming chassis series lines since early 2005 when the first Armor was introduced. The all-new Armor Revo is designed to not only continue the tradition of excellence, but to excel in all aspects of a true gaming chassis that takes aggressive styling to a new level and with unique and advanced features that one can only appreciate when experienced. Look out boys, the legend is back.

  • newegg Hot-swap hard drive docking station While USB 3.0 offers high-speed data transfer, moving big chunks of data usually means a hard drive or two. This is where the hot-swap hard drive docking station comes in handy.
  • newegg More Power, Less Heat Armor Revo features not one, not two, but three oversized fans which are all pre-routed to the centralized fan controller that is conveniently located on the front of the chassis that allows user to easily lower or increase fan speed as needed.
  • newegg Easy Installation The tool-less design for 5.25" device and 3.5" devices permit easy and quick drive mount and removal. The 3.5" HDD tray also supports 2.5" drive for easy integration of the SSD that brings strikingly fast data transfer to boost your OS and application. And with spacious interior, the Armor Revo can take on the most advanced graphics card(s) available today. Maximum card length: 12.9" (330CM). Multi-graphics cards supported as well (3-way SLI).
  • newegg Clean up the mess Cable management used to mean tucking all the excess cables into any available space you can find. With the CableClear Cable Management, the excess cables are now routed properly so you won’t pull off all your hair when upgrading down the road.
  • newegg Liquid cooling ready In addition to the spacious interior that enables power users to easily work on the ultimate liquid cooling setup, the Armor Revo features ample room for 24CM high-performance radiator. Retention holes are also provided at the rear for easy water tube pass-through.
  • newegg SuperSpeed USB 3.0 The wide-spread adoption of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface enables blazing-fast data-transfer and even supplies higher 5V power (900mA). And yes, Armor Revo adopts the most up-to-date internal USB 3.0 19-pin connector.

5 out of 5 eggsJust Awesome

Pros: 1. Lots of room.
2. Easy installation of MB
3. Cable management is outstanding
4. The cosmetics of the case are stunning

Cons: 1. Would like to have had rubber padding on the base
2. The front panel does come off easy if hit in the right spot
3. The face plates for the 5.25" bays come out a little too easy

Other Thoughts: I have a ThermalTake NiC C4 heatsink and fan installed with plenty of room.

I have yet to purchase my ASUS HD7770-2GD5 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16, so I do not know at this time what the clearance will be against the 3.5" bays.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case!

Pros: The harddrive mounting system is far better than some other cases. The layout and room inside case worked perfect for me. The ability to dock a harddrive in the top of the case to backup a current drive is out of this world. And of course the blue Led's are absolutely great!

Cons: This is a big huge case, but then again that's also a pros.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Armor yet

Pros: Spacious and roomy on the interior, gives a lot of room for airflow for extreme gaming rigs.
Allows people, like me, who have large hands, ease of installation of all the components.

Cons: The tool free bays could be more friendly to the brackets for solid state drives

Other Thoughts: The case could be an inch or two taller, to allow for more space for push-pull systems on self contained water cooling radiators. My radiator is almost touching the memory on my motherboard, due to how the layout is.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Side Window
-Cable Management
-Nearly toolless design, makes putting in drives and devices in easy
-Room for lots of fans
-Plug and Play door fan
-Docking station for sata drives

Cons: -Description states colorshift fans, which I believe can change between colors as seen on other thermaltake cases
-No rubber feet
-Pricey compared to similar thermaltake cases (Chaser MK-I, nearly identical with colorshift fans)

Other Thoughts: I would personally go with the Chaser MK-I (VN300M1W2N) case, it is cheaper and nearly identical

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT Case

Pros: Very's a Thermaltake, "what do you expect".
Front and Top Fans glow Blue.
You can turn the LED's on and OFF.
Sata Drive docking station built in on top of case. Great for quick access to a bare drive.
Can remove the Front 'wings' if you wish.

Cons: Can't use an Extended Motherboard.

Other Thoughts: This is my second Thermaltake case.
You can't go wrong with these cases if you are looking for something that is VERY STURDY and built to last.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Case transfer and was very happy

Pros: This was very easy to transfer my existent system from one case into this one. The added Space gave me much more playroom around the end of the video card and allowed for more wire management. The added bonus of the inside setup for drive bays and hard drives being screawless and easy to pop in and out plus the side fan not being wired directly where I would need to disconnect it every time I worked inside makes it so much easier for me to add more later.

Cons: Only real con is the sheer weight of the case even when empty. Unless you have a good spot for it you might have some issues. Make sure where ever you put it can take the weight without warping later. Minor con would be the cleaning of the dust screens but I take that as reg clean up but do recomend a good air can.

Other Thoughts: Wished they made one twice as wide(for personal custom reasons XD)

4 out of 5 eggsHappy over all

Pros: Quite large, giving you plenty of room to work with!
Materials are nice and sturdy
fans are relatively quiet
tool less features
led are cool
looks nice
nice accessories

Cons: The biggest annoyance is that this case doesn't have rubber feet! For this price, i feel like rubber feet should be a given. The feet are hard plastic which force me to place a towel underneath the whole thing so i doesn't scratch my table. Which it already has..

The case then can with two problems:
1. the top fan came with a pretty harsh rattle. I found out that one of the mesh screens was rattling on the other screen. My quick fix to that was to wedge a folded piece of paper in between them.
2. the side 200m fan came defective, it came with a loud rattle but now it doesnt even spin unless i have it on high speeds...

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake has such cool looking cases but its such a shame that they charge so much money and then skimp out on some areas of the case..
In the end, everything can be fixed. although i dont know how to solder all that well, installing a new fan shouldnt be all that difficult. Not to sure on the feet... the only thing that comes to mind is jamming a bunch of play dough into them

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: Great case with plenty of room and good wire management,
plenty of air flo in this case too and room for a h100

Cons: hard drive racks seem flimsy but worked.
door fan does not light up and with there quik connect on the door fan you cant replace it if it burns out or if you want a colored fan.
kind of annoying that the l.e.d switch with is built into the case can not support more fans and should you ad another led fan to the case and there is room for more fans on this case you wont be able to control there lights,so i decided to replace all the fans with spectre pro fans and use there led fan controller with switch
