5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The pre-installed fans are good for a low-mid build. They keep the temps in my case fair.

The leds in the fans are excellent and are a nice bright color.

USB 3.0 was a must and this case has it.

The hot-swap bay seemed sort of iffy on if i would use it or not, but its shown itself more than useful in the past few months!

Cons: None that would sway your opinion on buying or not.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving it

Pros: Just finish putting everything into this case yesterday and i got to said how awesome this case is comparing to my mid tower case. Lot of extra room for my motherboard and GTX 780 to breath litterily, gave me almost over 20 degree drop from my RAIDMAX Seiran ATX-902WR case. Ideling temp now around 8c-15c. max temp is 29c. GPU temp drop from 80c to 60c and 70c max when loading titan fall on max setting so this is a must get case!!!!

not to mention it a purty night light for my room

Cons: nothing is bad in this case unless you a little 110lb asian guy, then this case may be a little bit heavy :D

5 out of 5 eggsGreat full tower!

Pros: Quality, custom options, ventilation, style, size, price. I wanted a solid full tower for my new build, after researching all the options out there, I chose this A71 case. A very well built, well laid out case, you can tell the engineers at thermaltake thought this thing out with logic. I know this case will be used and reused as components inside change for many years. I've used thermaltake's products for over a decade and have never been displeased. Newegg shipped the case in 2 days ups, with a factory rebate of 20 bucks, this otherwise pricey case was only about 100 bucks. So many options with cooling, setup, mainboard mounts, etc...simply the best case on the market!

Cons: I couldn't think of a single thing bad about this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Tower!

Pros: I got this case because of the needed space for component installation and cooling capabilities. This tower has everything you need for an easy installation.
This tower came with everything I need, no need to buy extra fans, this one came with plenty.
Expansion slots and cable management are a breeze to work with.

Cons: I have nothing to share here.

Other Thoughts: There was hesitation at which tower to buy when it comes to looks and application. This tower rules!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy and quiet.

Cons: Dust filtration system leaves alot to be desired. It has a filter on the bottom which you need to remove from the back, so if your case's back is against or near a wall you need to move it to remove the filter. The front has no removable filter, just these mesh filters which fill up with dust and look awful, the bottom 4 drive bay things are smeared with dust while the top 4 are immaculate.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Big Beast is Back on the Block

Pros: This is really well designed full tower chassis, which is what I would expect from Thermaltake. What I liked the most:

1 - Big roomy tower.
2 - Large quiet fans.
3 - Tool-free snap into place 5.25 in drive bays (use screws to secure 5.25 in drives to case).
4 - Really slick tool-free 3.5in HD bays.
5 - Front panel USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Audio.
6 - Hot swappable e-SATA at the top of the case for fast and easy data backup.
7 - Tray at the top of the case for temp. storage of smart phone, ear buds, mp3 device, digital camera, etc.
8 - Nice lint/dust cover for bottom air vent.
9 - Ready for 240mm radiator with 2x 120mm vans to be installed at the top of the case.
10 - Tool-free snap in/out front 5.25in face plates with lint/dust catch.
11 - Easy cable management.
12 - Watercool ready.
13 - Large quiet side door fan for additional air flow and cooling.
14 - Really sharp looking case.
15 - Top and side door fans are blue LED fans.
16 - Easy cable management as expected in a high quality tower chassis.

The tool-free 5.25in bays allow the optical drives to snap into place with an easy release lever. Once snapped into place, screw holes line up perfectly. The tool-free 3.5 inch bays show some really smart design. The plastic mounting brackets/trays slide out of the 3.5in bays. There is a plastic notch on the brackets that keep the 3.5inch drive steady with screw holes lined up perfectly. Once the 3.5in drive is securely mounted to the bracket, the bracket can be slid back into the bay, and it snaps into place. There is plenty of room between the 3.5in HD bays to allow for proper air flow coming from the front fan. The front 5.25in face plates snap in/out for easy removal and installation.

The quality design of this case is what I expect from Thermaltake. I'm an owner of many Thermaltake tower cases (Armor, V9 Black X, Xaser). When I went looking to build a new PC my first stop was Thermaltake's website.

Cons: Very minor knit-pick:
- On the cable management side fo the motherboard tray a few of the horizontal cut-out holes used for threading plastic ties through should have been vertical. A few of the vertical cut-out holes should have been horizontal.

- Most of the fans in the case have a 600 RPM maximum speed. However, they are whisper quiet. The rear exhaust fan is 1000 RPM max speed.

Other Thoughts: __Beware__:

The case has a < 160mm CPU cooler height limit (which takes into account the CPU) and a < 344mm VGA card length limit. The CPU cooler limit will make many highly rated air CPU coolers incompatible. Will the following air CPU coolers fit into the Chaser A-71?:
- Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 (159mm) = Yes
- Noctua NH-U12S (158mm) = Yes
- Noctua NH-U14s (165mm) = NO
- Noctua NH-D14 (160mm) = NO (possible RAM slot blocker)
- Zalman CNPS9900 D/F (154mm) = Yes
- Zalman CNPS9900 Max (152mm) = Yes
- Zalman CNPS10X Optima (152mm) = Yes
- Zalman CNPS14X Optima (159.3mm) = Yes
- Zalman CNPS12X (154mm) = Yes

I settled on a CoolerMaster Seidon 120 All-In-One water cool unit. I have the Seidon setup in a push/pull config.

Parts I used with the Thermaltake Chaser A-71:
- Asus Maximus VI Formula Z87 (socket 1150) ATX motherboard (fits perfectly)
- CoolerMaster Seidon 120m AIO Water CPU cooler
- Intel Core I5-4670K 3.4Ghz CPU (LGA 1150 CPU)
- EVGA GTX 660 video card (long video card but fits)
- Seagate 2TB SATA 6-G Harddrive (7200 RPM)
- Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700watt PSU
- 2x SATA DVD Burners (super cheap price @ Newegg.com)

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic case

Pros: This case was everything I was looking for. It was the perfect size for my Asus motherboard, along with all of internal hard drives and I love where the io ports are. Not to mention the docking bay for hard drives on the top!
This case also had filters on the fans and front which for me really help with the dust!

Cons: none :)

Other Thoughts: I have had no issues with this and I would recommend this to anyone.
