5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case for an Enclosed Water Cooler Setup

Pros: Has two 200mm intake fans in the front and one 200mm exhaust on top plus a 140mm exhaust in rear. My Coolmaster Nepton 240M radiator easily fit underneath the top of the case with no extra tools or retrofitting. I have it sitting in push/pull configuration with the 200mm exhaust fan on top. Fans are incredibly quiet even on the high setting. I'm running an Intel I7 4790 processor at 4.5 and even under heavy load in FSX flight simulator I can't feel any significant heat due to the water cooling and fan setup.

Also has lots of well placed rubber grommets to feed your cables through (even underneath the motherboard) to keep them out of sight and not inferring with the airflow.

There are 8 modular snap in and out toolless drive bays for either 5.25 or 3.5 hard or ssd drives. I'm using just 2 so I removed and stored the other 6 to improve air flow. Also has 3 easily removable lint filters (top, front, and bottom).

Besides all of the above this case is really cool looking with it's see-through side and blue LED fan lights!

Cons: Only con is that the LED fan lighting switch at the top of the case stopped working (can no longer turn them off). Not a big deal for me as I like them on.

Other Thoughts: This is a big spacious case that is ideal for a water cooling solution for overclocked high end processors or multiple graphic cards with excellent built-in air flow with the stock fans. Can accommodate multiple radiators or additional fans if necessary.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Lots of room for any kind of build. Well thought out for water cooling. Like the modular bays and the ability to customize your drive layout. Airflow is pretty good. When shipped, no scratches, dents, or dings. Very good cable management capability.

Cons: Power button LED burnt out in the first three weeks I got it. But if that's the only thing I can complain about, well.... not much of a complaint. I'm going to replace it with a red one anyway.

Other Thoughts: I think Thermaltake did a great job with this case. It was designed with the enthusiast in mind and you can get as creative as you want with your build. I also think you get a good value for the price when comparing other cases in either that price range or even more expensive cases.

5 out of 5 eggsBigger than it looks

Pros: 1- The size - It's the biggest thing people talk about and it's a big thing really. you can fit most anything and customise it however you want, with room to spare.

2- The weight - For it's size this thing is not that heavy, the honeycombing and mesh metal designs really save on weight and make this thing much more mobile than it looks.

3- Cable Management - This was my first case on my first build ever, I built the thing myself and am NOT good with cables, the pull out door design in the back as well as TONS of mounting points and TONS of space make an easy job of making all your cables slide in perfectly in the back, leaving a sleek and displayable front.

4- Customization - This case can be configured so many ways it's mind boggling, there are mounting points for the harddrives in the back, there's multiple sizes and ranges of HDD trays, there's mounting points for every kind of fan or radiator you could attach, on the top bottom and middle including an adjustable mount for any kind of power source you could think of.

5- Ventilation - The design of this case is such that, if every fan in my case were to shut down (besides cpu obviously) I'd be as reassured as I needed to be, to merely take a standup fan and place it next to my case blowing in.

6- Dust Filters - Needs it's own category because it's that awesome. dust filters keep everything in the case sparkley clean, and the window on the side lets me see how clean it is.

Cons: I can only come up with two really, first is the case fans, which don't work properly if they're not attached to the built in fan controller, which isn't that great of a peice of engineering if I'm honest. I attached them to my motherboard, and haven't been able to get any kind of control out of them, nor do they light up properly.

second is actually the size. everything in the case has to travel so far that it's actually pushed cables of my hardware to thier limits, the card reader I have in the top 7.5" slot has to cross the case though the middle instead of around the back because the cables to connect it aren't long enough, and many of the cables that do run through the back of the case are under tension because they just barely make it to where they're supposed to be.

Other Thoughts: if you ever think you'll need to worry about space, buy this case and you'll never think you don't have enough space again.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case ever

Pros: Super huge, Good cable management... It's the best case I've ever built with... There's plenty of room to work even with the mobo in... There's room for three more fans on top of the 3 that come with it... Once you see how to install the HDDs, it's a breeze to add and replace... The back side is plenty wide to fit all the PSU cables and still leave clearance...

It has enough room to add another radiator AT least for a GPU on the front... I have an H100i on the top for the CPU... Simply remove the top fan and screw the radiator right in...

Cons: The only con is that the SATA data plugs hug real tight against the HDD cage..

Other Thoughts: It is almost an inch taller than most full towers and barely fits in my desk cabinet, but I've thinking about moving it out anyway...

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This case is massive. I was previously using a mid-sized case, and had to limit the size of the radiators, as well as video cards.

As far as I know, this case fits anything on the market, and also sports the most air-cooling coverage possible... even on the bottom, which they don't even attempt to advertise. That's okay since most people put the computer flat on the ground, but you don't need to, and boom you have another intake.

Probably the #1 thing this case has going for it is customization. You can remove the Hard drive "housing" to make room for radiators, fans, stuffed animals, whatever you want.

The remove-able dust filters are very nice.

Cable management is the best I've ever used. I was able to stuff all cables through the back.

The size and the cable management ability makes this case very "open air" and cool. You can still overclock a 3930K with air cooling and sit in the 50's C at full. That's pretty nice, and I have 2 large video cards in here.

Cons: Rebates. The year is 2014, please stop with the rebates! What is the point?!

The advertised price is not including the money you get back from the rebate, I just don't get the point of rebates. I was tempted, honestly, to just buy another case that didn't come with a rebate. I hate them, and you made me cut into my original box.

I am not sentimental to the box, but the box these cases are shipped in make for the best way to transport the computer when moving it.

Since you made me cut a hole in the box, I now need to repair that hole and deal with the decreased integrity of the box. That's just annoying and lame. Plus jumping through all the dang hoops to get all the materials necessary is just boring.

I know in the past companies used to advertise the price including the rebate, but, at least here on NewEgg, the price is without including it, so it's just weird... maybe you're able to display the rebate price elsewhere, but I think the rebates are tied to newegg. Not sure. Just stop it!

Other Thoughts: I am impartial to LED lighting, so I will just put this here. I usually cut the power to the LED lights since the computer is usually in the same room I sleep in. This computer goes in my office, so I thought I would leave the LED lights this time since this is the most "showy" case I've ever bothered owning.

They are very dim. You can barely notice them, even when the lights are off, especially since there are the front and top covers over them. I've left mine power, and I never notice they are even on.

I hope no one buys this case based on the LED lights, but just worth a mention! If you want lights, you can buy LED strips and connect them, I suspect all cases with LED lights will be like this.

The side glass is still very aesthetically pleasing.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is awesome and HUGE

Pros: I've been building custom PCs since my first 486DX2/66 back in the days. The case is probably the best case I've used in terms of quality, looks, features and room. Make no mistake, it is large but the cable management and room make for one nice setup with the window on the side. You are a gamer...get this case.

Cons: None. I had to use some creativity to get my smaller radiator and fan to fit. I used the motherboard mounts with screws and put my radiator on the top.

Other Thoughts: This case has so much room that during the holidays my relatives are sleeping inside of the case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: It is very nice and clean. Plenty of space to do as you wish with it.

Cons: The fan controller that came with the case is kinda cheap so I would think about getting something else.

Other Thoughts: This will be an excellent build in time and the case gives me more then I could hope for as far as looks and space.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect.

Pros: Spacious
Easy to work in
Ideal for water cooling
Comes with 3x200mm fans and 1x140mm
Dust filters

Cons: Nothing major.
Fan controller did not work with my Aerocool fans.

Other Thoughts: I finally found a case to replace my Switch 810. I run a heavily overclocked 4790K along with a pair of GTX 970's all watercooled and usually have a pair of 240mm rads and a 140mm rad set up in my Switch.
I now have a 240mm rad in the top of this case and a 360mm rad at the front of this case (30mm thick) and believe it or not there is enough space for the rad so that I do not have to remove the HDD caddies or the CD/DVD caddy at the top of the case. There is a massive amount of room behind the motherboard tray for cables.
This is one of my neatest builds.

I replaced all of the fans with Aerocool 120mm fans (except the rear which was Aerocool 140mm) for my rads and airflow is just as good, if not better than the Switch which has an extra 2 x 140mm fans.

Excellent value, great looking build. Much recommended.
