4 out of 5 eggsSolid case

Pros: Plenty of space
200mm fan keeps things cool, I didn't even install rear 80mm fans
Plenty of room for a decent video card - and shorter ones even get some airflow from the front fan
Cables are easy to tuck out of sight, no mess
Installing hard drives is a snap (literally)

Cons: Initially, I wanted to use CPU liquid cooling off the real exhaust port - only top realize that 2x80 format is not a supported configuration, all liquid coolers require at least a 120 fan. So the case isn't really compatible with liquid cooling, unless you go with the manufacturer's suggestion to install it instead of the front fan, but blowing hot exhaust air in my face just doesn't seem to be a good idea to me.

Also, very bad placement of power and reset buttons: not only are they adjacent to USB and audio ports, but they're very easy to press... and very easy to press accidentally. So do have a good lighting when you plug/unplug anything from the side ports, and try not to do it by touch alone, or you'll shutdown/reboot at the most unexpected moment.

Overall, this justifies one egg off, I think.

Other Thoughts: The system I've build is rather modest in power, and this case handles it perfectly:
Intel i5-4690 with Arctic Freezer i11 cooler
MSI H97I AC
Sapphire R9 270
Mushkin Redline 2x4GB DDR3 1600
Rosewill Capstone Gold 550W
WD Black 1TB 7200RPM

5 out of 5 eggsfinally an elegant case

Pros: -2 tier design. the psu sits under the mobo and is isolated. mobo is horizontally mounted infront of a massive 200mm fan that creates enough airflow that i didnt feel the need to mount exhaust fans. the pc runs quiet and the intake fan pushes enough air that i can feel it coming out the back of the case.

-with my asus z971i plus mobo my graphics card mounts on the left side. with the vent panel on that side as well, the gpu cooler pulls air straight from outside the case, pipes it through its tunnel, and blows it right out the back of the case, keeping it mostly isolated.

-small and clean design. its not huge and grotesque like most pc cases. I wanted something that could be quiet and look decent in my living room, as its a gaming pc for my tv, but not be obnoxious "4 gamerz!" with vents and leds all over the place.

-fits full size psu slot. no need to worry about power conscious parts. put in whatever you want.

Cons: my biggest complaint is the dust filter they put in the front over the big fan. it was a huge selling point to me and i really didnt like a sheet of foam there because it seems like it would just choke airflow. i had to bend the metal mesh, which had sharp edges, to get the casing off to take out the foam. i really think it should be user accessible because im sure there are builders out there who dont mind dusting out their rig a bit more often to gain better airflow. its not enough to take a way an egg in the rating imo, even though for me personally it is, i think im the oddball in that department.

minor complaint is cable management. theres a big gap in the front of the case to feed psu wires through and that's about it. they dont interfere with airflow, but i was finding myself wishing for some railing to run cables through. but im also not very creative in cable management either, so ill put some of it on me.

Other Thoughts: this case was the end all and be all to me assembling my pc. i had been using an imac since 2008 to get away from windows, since i did not play games on pc anymore. but these days pc games are just too lucrative and i wanted one instead of going with a ps4 or xbox one. my issue was i could not find an elegant and understated case that fit my personality, so i couldnt pull the trigger. apple makes some beautiful machines, so coming from that side of the computer world i just found all pc cases too big and obnoxious. i liked mini-itx cases, but they all seemed to be more for htpc set ups. the second i saw this guy on newegg's front page it sealed the deal. its relatively small, and it sits next to my tv stand so it even looks like a speaker or subwoofer. with the asus z97i plus mobo, i was able to put in my i7 4790 and a gtx980. so its small but there is no sacrifice in performance. i highly recommend it for anyone who needs a pc that is easy to move, or like me, wanted something subtle in design.

1 out of 5 eggsit is an awesome case!

Pros: cable management is great. HD trays give plenty of space to hook up sata cables in many different ways. you can swap side, bottom and top panels anywhere. best price for a cubic foot case with all the good features and design (PSU under Mobo is way better than like some other cases)..

Cons: case came not wrapped (the actually case inside the box) no styrofoam blocks, no hardware nor manual nor nothing.....case wasn't damaged.....not a big deal because i have plenty of extra screws and stuff.....

Other Thoughts: get it....don't let the one egg fool you ;)

5 out of 5 eggsDecent NAS enclosure, too

Pros: Excellent fit and finish
Nice layout and design
Attractive minimalist appearance
quiet front fan
interchangeable top and side panels

Cons: None for me

Other Thoughts: I really wanted a sealed fanless box for a small NAS with 2 to 4 x 3.5" HDD's. However, I was unable to find any suitable commercial enclosures that didn't cost 2x - 5x the cost of the 10W TDP ASRock Q1900DC-ITX Celeron J1900 + 8 Gb RAM I'm using for the server. I chose this cube as the best inexpensive alternative. I have 2 x 3.5" HDD's and 1 x 2.5" SSD mounted to the supplied drive caddies. Since the MB is DC input, supplied by a 60W laptop brick, the entire ATX power supply bay is empty. I'm thinking about building a UPS into the lower bay, capable of running the NAS, router, and cable modem for hours without AC power. This enclosure was clearly designed for building a mini-ITX gaming rig, but it's also a fine choice for a small server if you do not require hot swap and/or ODD drive bays. The included 200 mm 800 rpm front fan is very quiet, though I can hear it because the CPU and power supply is fanless. I do not think there is a better value mini-ITX enclosure.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Value

Pros: -This is such an awesome case for the $, especially given the sturdy build quality. Don't let the light weight deter you.

-Any thick 120/140mm AIO/Closed Loop cooler will mount up front doing push pull no problem. Nepton 140XL fit perfect.

-I fit a MSI GTX 970 Gaming in it no problem. I found sliding the card through the front GPU "pocket" the best way to get a long card in and out.

-*Real* maximum CPU cooler height is 145mm, a 150mm Thermaltake Macho 120 touches the top panel.

-Per the instructions you can mount an addition pair of 3.5 HDD's on the vented side panels bringing it's total capacity to 4 3.5's and 2 2.5's.

-Front panel has a extended lip at the bottom for easy removal. It also uses a foam type dust filter.

-The front fan is surprisingly quiet, it's range is 300-800RPM and it's basically silent up to 600ish RPM.

-Plenty of areas to snake/hide cables for a clean build.

Cons: -Feet are plastic, no rubber for damping vibration.

-The provided user placed PSU vibration dampers are kinda ghetto.

-No dust filters for the 2 vented side panels.

-I really really really suggest investing in some 80mm fans for the rear exhaust, made a huge difference in Temps with a 100W+ TDP graphics card.

-Hard drive cages could have used a more sophisticated mounting method, as is you basically wedge them in place and screw them down.

-Front 200mm Fan is offset to the right in order to accommodate huge graphics cards which in turn means it's not directly cooling your GPU.

Other Thoughts: All of these complaints are pretty much irrelevant given this cases price.

Buy some fancy case feet, stick some Home Depot rubber washers under the PSU and get a pair of Demciflex filters for the side panels. Or do none of this and have a incredible case for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mini-ITX on the market

Pros: Holds full size PSU, room for front mount radiator, everything fits perfectly. TT even allows fan mounting on the side panels for superior air flow. A10-7850k stays exceptionally cool even under extreme loads.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality, nearly silent

Pros: Solid build quality - nothing flexes or creaks, and everything fits together tightly. The included 200 mm front fan is fantastic, with huge airflow while being absolutely silent unless I literally put my ear up to the front panel. Tons of room and inside the case for components, PSU and cable management. Every panel and face of the case can be removed to make installation very simple and straightforward.

Cons: Only two hard drive drive bays. This isn't a really big deal, it's clear from the product description. If you want to use this as a desktop system, though, that's a detail you'll want to keep in mind.

Other Thoughts: This really is an excellent case. Very well-built, the design is smart, and I'm very pleased. I set it up as a living room Steam/media PC with a Pentium Anniversary Edition, Geforce 750 Ti, Asrock mITX Z97 board, an SSD and a mechanical hard drive. The massive front fan is enough on its own (I've installed no additional case fans) to keep the system cool, even under full load, while being extremely quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsMini ITX Better than most

Pros: After reading other reviews on this case I decided to make my own.

1) my first PC build was a pentium 2 in a case I had to mount the HDD in a vertical plastic housing on the front of the case. So ignore whatever person believes mounting hard drives (not SSD) vertically breaks them faster.

2) This case has cable management it has the ability to fit a FULL sized video card with vents you can place directly over the GPU cooler fans but you can also watercool the whole system. It also has the ability to house 5 5.25' internal drives. ON TOP OF THAT it allows the use of a full sized PSU separate of the rest of the components. ALL of that for 50 bucks. Why are you complaining about insignificant things like no external drive bays? If it bothers you that much pay another $50 and get a case that has a drive bay, OR buy a USB disk drive. A critique asking for a drive bay is like asking for a floppy drive. WHY DO YOU NEED ONE IN A CASE BUILT LIKE THIS?

3) Are you really upset that this case doesn't have additional case sides? Seriously? go to your garage, or to a local work shop to rent the space and tools and cut a window and mount a small piece of plastic in it. There I saved you 50 bucks.

I am tired of all these DIY combos and people claiming to have some passion for crafting a PC or a solid build by not even taking a simple initiative to just get a drill. I Cut my second build with a hand saw because I was 17 and had no access to a power tool. This isn't rocket science it is simple initiative. Stop clouding reviews with insignificant complaints about a case you can mod yourself. It has a 30 day return policy so if you hate it send it back get a new case but seeing as you probably are looking for all the things this mini ITX case has (listed above 1,2,3) then just change it yourself. Otherwise get a full tower and don't bother leaving a review here.

Cons: It is a mini ITX not a full tower.

That isn't really a con, but people seem to be forgetting that in their reviews.

Other Thoughts: you have a 140mm clearance for the CPU cooler Thermaltake CL-P001-AL12RE-A 120mm NiC L31 Aluminum CPU Cooler for the CPU is the only cooler I found that makes this clearance sitting perpendicular to the baord. (I don't care for the parallel to the board CPU coolers, just my opinion) My only recommendation to Thermaltake is to give another 2cm clearance but then again I could either water cool the CPU or buy a full tower. (seeing as building something involves problem solving and not just whining about prebuilt parts)
