3 out of 5 eggsOK, a bit cheap

Pros: This case looks good and has great air flow. This trumps everything else. I removed HD cages to use as an open case.

Cons: Feels a little cheap because the metal is too thin. Some rivets are loose. No SSD mounts on the back of motherboard tray. No rubber grommets on motherboard cutouts.
QA issues:
Front panel USB connectors were installed upside down. I had to disassemble the front panel PCB to correct it.
Drive cages were bent not connected properly to the back. Don't care, not using them.

I would not recommend this case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, for what it's worth.

Pros: - Large amount of room.

- Great ways to route your cables and manage your storage cages.

- Complimentary front 120 mm fan for adequate airflow.

- It's rather beefy for its width, but can be an impediment if one is concerned about desk space, especially its length and height.

- Nice ventilation on all four sides (top, bottom, front and back).

- Magnetic filter can be a plus for ease.

Cons: - Case panel doors are flimsy and flex rather easily, something I really dislike.

- Power and reset buttons tend to stick or stay stuck after pressing them.

- Screwing in the standoffs may need some working in, but this isn't much of an impediment.

- One front USB 3.0 port managed to have its bracket (or whatever) slightly bend down permanently.

- Case's finish can sometimes leave bits on the table.

- Window's side panel can scratch and attract dust very easily, the latter due to the friction made from the panel window's protective plastic "wrapping," whatever it's called. However, this is merely a slight beef I have with this thing.

- Panel door thumbscrews tend to be difficult to remove and tighten, so it'll risk stripping the threads if you're not too careful.

- Magnetic filter can also be a con as when you're working on the "case's guts" (a.k.a. the internal hardware), the fact that it easily moves can be a hassle when you want a good grip on the case and prevent it from either falling too hard, or when you are trying to hold onto it to screw something in, depending on your angle.

Other Thoughts: This thing is good for what it's worth, however I felt a bit let down by how poor quality the power and reset buttons are, especially the panel doors and how difficult it tends to be when you're using the thumbscrews (for the panel doors, at least). I honestly think the windowed panel door is a lot more flimsy than the motherboard panel door. I suggest Thermaltake redesigns cases like this where the doors are thicker, and that their power and reset buttons have a more secure press and release compared to this one. It's really unpredictable how much pressure is really needed to even press them enough to make the system register either a shut down/boot up or a restart. I am also not sure if I should use the MIR card as well, since I doubt that I'm 100% satisfied with this case. However, it is good for what I need it for.

5 out of 5 eggsBuck Williams

Pros: Great case. Plenty of room for fans and ability to fit easily all the newest hardware wihout getting addition parts. The standoffs provided with the case fit my motherboard (MSI x99) perfectly. Nice large window and great airflow with porous front, back, and top. You don't need a modular power supply! This has tones of room. Nice removable cages for hard drives that can be removed for better air flow.

Cons: USB ports are upside down.

Other Thoughts: It's a little big, but that lets you fit any size processor fan you want, gives you plenty of room to build in, and allows water cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice and lots of room

Pros: Can't beat it for the price. Appropriate for all builders: newcomers, longtime builders and hardcore gamers. As a veteran to custom PC building, I must say that I am not disappointed. Aesthetically pleasing, and very easy to install just about any peripheral that is appropriate for a mid-tower. Lots of room. Wire management is a huge thorn in my side. Tied neatly, no issues. 10/10 from me, satisfied customer. Thermaltake has a good catalog and no complaints from me. Custom PC's are the way to go, this will be a good case for your build.

Cons: Nope, can't think of any

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for the $$$

Pros: The price being so good compared to some of the other cases I wasn't sure what to expect but I took the chance and I am extremely happy with the case

Cons: This case did exactly what I want with zero issues

5 out of 5 eggsDefinite Bang For Buck

Pros: Quiet! Modular design allows tons of customization options for water coolers, fans, SSD mounts, and more. Rubberized power supply mount for quiet running. Filters galore! This case offers everything more expensive cases offer at a bargain price! Can hold HUGE GPU's!

Cons: Why the bargain price? It lacks rubber around the wire channels, Basically what Thermaltake has done here is offer you all the customization you want from a high a priced case and cut off some of the "comfort" items.

Other Thoughts: I really would have liked a cover for my PSU cables, but the price is right, so I am no where near complaining. This has been by far the easiest case I have ever built with.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it.

Pros: I disagree with the other reviewer about the case feeling cheap w/ sharp edges and things. It looks and feels very nice and sturdy. It MAY have sharp edges internally, but in no way did it affect the building process.

Cons: No grommets for the cable management. This could be a con for some but I found that it did not bother me or cause any issues.

The power button stuck the very first time it was pressed. I suspect with a bit of use and/or minor modification this will no longer be a problem.

There was a bit of difficulty running sata and power to the 3.5"s and the SSD in the standard drive bays. It's doable but not entirely convenient. I did not try the back mounted HDD/SSD feature.

Other Thoughts: At regular price this case may not be the best bargain but at the current sale price it's a steal.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Price. Decent case

Pros: Case is good sized and is well equipped for drive bays and fan mounts

Cons: When I installed the motherboard one of the hard drive shelves blocked the USB 3.0 socket. I had to remove one of the shelves to hook up the port.

5 out of 5 eggs1st review, awesome!!!

Pros: Seriously i have no idea how this case isnt more popular. Slightly smaller then its big brother, core v51, but packs quite the punch. There is so much space and wire managment was a breeze. Plenty of room for the GTX 970, and top mounted 240mm liquid cooling unit. For the price, i dont think you could do better for such a good looking case, and never have i had a build look so clean. Thermaltake you have my respect and will recommend any of their core series cases.

Cons: If you have looked at this case or any other Thermaltake core series case, just stop looking and buy it already.

2 out of 5 eggsCheep

Pros: It will do the job, is well vented

Cons: Poorly built unless your looking for plastic and tin and there are sharp edges all over the inside. it is an odd design, sideways bays inside, only 2 external bays yet it is plenty big enough they could have had more. The documentation does not explain anything, like for installing the motherboard it says "install the motherboard". Newegg has a picture of this case that looks like the door is hinged, it is not. I have 2 of the thermaltake armor series cases that are 3 or 4 years old (Discontinued) and they are much nicer, Im sure I paid more for them though. I got this because of the large cpu cooler I have, this says in the specs that it is 9.1 inches, it is actually only 8.5, hope it fits but I wont know until I track down hardware to install the motherboard that also came from newegg, and did not include any hardware and appears to be used. 8 days it took to get this stuff, what is the point in sending something by fedex to my town and then for some reason having them deliver it to the post office for delivery, 2 days later. Not sure why I thought this was a US company, it's all made in China. I have had no issues with their power supplies.

Other Thoughts: Made in the US? Next time.
