Thermaltake Core V21 Micro Chassis

As the latest addition to the Core V Series, the new Thermaltake Core V21 is a quadrate micro M-ATX-based chassis that offers an endless stackable and flexible thermal solution. It allows externally-modular upgrades for enthusiasts to create dual systems. Designed for use in either a vertical or horizontal orientation on the motherboard, users can customize the chassis for the best viewing presentation. A 200mm fan on the front panel ensures that the Core V21 delivers outstanding cooling performance with compatibility for extensive DIY/AIO LCS, further enhancing the reputation that the air cooling units of the series has become renowned for. Guaranteed to be an immensely powerful system, the Core V21 also has the ability to accommodate various overclocking components to boost performance even further where it counts!

Core V21

Vertical or Horizontal Motherboard Placement

The Core V21 is designed for use in either a vertical or horizontal orientation on the motherboard. Built for customization that reflects the enthusiast's personality, it allows for adjustments to the chassis for the best viewing presentation while ensuring outstanding cooling performance. A removable PSU dust filter is embedded in the bottom panel of the chassis. Additionally, shockproof rubber gaskets on the PSU bracket help to minimize noise during operation.

Core V21

Stackable and Flexible Thermal Solution

With its endless stackable design, the Core V21 is in a class above the rest. Virtually limitless utility is possible. It's the first expandable system that allows enthusiasts to incorporate externally -modular upgrades. Stacked together, the chassis opens up space to expand the liquid cooling system, the storage solutions, or even create dual systems, thereby allowing for a dedicated top/bottom set-up for pure cooling. The maximum radiator length supported is 600mm at the front of the stack.

Core V21

Remarkable Expansion

Designed for high-end gaming system compatibility, the Core V21's modular drive racks allow gamers to easily install up to six data storage devices, a dual expansion slot VGA up to 350mm in length, and a tower CPU cooler up to 185mm in height. Even with a high-wattage PSU of up to 200mm in length, there's still plenty of space available for cable management. Moreover, two 240mm radiators can be installed on top of the chassis, delivering superior cooling performance.

Core V21

Optimized Ventilation

With its exceptional cooling ability, the Core V21 offers various mounting points to support all types of cooling systems, including DIY/AIO liquid-cooling systems and air-cooling units. A large 200mm fan is preinstalled on the front to guarantee that any type of gaming system can be accommodated.

Core V21

Chambers Concept

The Core V21 is optimized for space management. It is divided into two main chambers: the upper chamber is made for cooling performance and efficiency, while the lower one is made for PSU and drive bays. Thanks to the removable 2.5"/3.5" drive device racks, there is plenty of flexibility to gain the maximum interior space when needed for advanced cooling performance or liquid systems build.

Core V21

Tt LCS Certification

Tt LCS Certified is a Thermaltake exclusive certification applied to only products that pass the design and hardcore enthusiasts standards that a true LCS chassis should be held to. The Tt LCS certification was created so that we at Thermaltake can designate to all power users which chassis have been tested to be best compatible with extreme liquid cooling configurations to ensure you get the best performance from the best features and fitment.

1 out of 5 eggsMissing Parts

Pros: -Seems like a fantastic case with A LOT of space if I could get it together.

Cons: -Was missing standoffs. This kind of ruined my day because I'm now going to be waiting a week to put together my computer because I have to order twenty cents of brass off the internet and wait for it to ship.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case. Roomie. Not recommended if youre trying to go as small as possible.

Pros: Nice case... build quality is good... it feels nice, not cheap.. looks good, everything inside was solid. I Fit in a big Graphics card, EVO 212 cooler, 600w CORSAIR power supply... all with tons of room left. Tons of options for drives inside of it.... I used an m.2 SSD so all of mine were empty.. but you could really setup a nice filer server in this thing.

Cons: It feels a little big, lots of wasted space inside. After staring at it for a week, I decided it was too big still and am going to rebuild with a smaller mobo and case. The audio port on the front got a little noisey (inside the headphones) after leaving the computer on for a few days, not sure if that was the case fault, or the mobo high impedance mobo setting for the high end headphones i was using. I plugged direct into the back of the mobo and it was fine.

Other Thoughts: I ended up going with an ITX option... many of these mATX options are still too big really, I would only go mATX if you really think you will end up going dual video card.... Other than that there are a lot of nice ITX options, that dont leave so much empty space on your desk........ This case was cheap though.. so it will probably sit around here for a bit, and then I'll give it to a friend building a rig.

5 out of 5 eggsexactly what I was looking for

Pros: spacious, cheap, customizable

Cons: screws came all in one tiny plastic bag and the instruction manual is no help.. no less but no biggie about that..

Other Thoughts: I had a few i7 cpus laying around and wanted a case that I can stack on top of each other and still looks nice... this case is perfect... even though is bigger than I expected, IS PERFECT... I already have an expensive custom build pc so I didn't wanted to spend a lot on this one but still wanted the looks and the flexibility of fitting whatever I wanted in there without worrying about space. There's plenty of space for anything in there... cable management was not hard for me.. I hid everything where the psu is and is impossible to see...

4 out of 5 eggsNice spacious Micro ATX case.

Pros: This case is pretty large, which is great if you are water cooling or want the space for cable management. The build quality is great for a cheaper case and the customization is awesome. Overall this is a pretty sweet case with few shortcomings.

Cons: The biggest issue I have with this case is that cable management is tough. There are hardly no tie-downs and because the window on the side panel shows the basement you have to try to hide them as best as possible.

It only comes with 1 fan but at least it's a 200mm fan I guess.

The only other issue is that vertical motherboard placement is pretty awkward. I really didn't want to do horizontal but it was the only way that made sense.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case if you want a bigger cube case that has plenty of customization for radiators and what not. It isn't the best case I've ever used and cable management is very difficult to get to look pretty. However, once you do get the cables routed the inside looks very clean.

5 out of 5 eggsA boat load of space

Pros: Tons of spaces
Many fan mounting options
So much room to work in
All four panels can be moved around
Great looking cube case
Bang for the bucks

Cons: Not too many tie-down locations
Once the motherboard is installed, big hole/space to the side. Makes making a clean cable free look a little hard.

Other Thoughts: For the price, you can't really beat it. With all the panels removed, there are tons of spaces to work in. Many fan options as well so heat build up is not a problem. The massive fan in the front is the only piece that can't be moved around but that's fine. Overall this case is great.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent case, poor advertising.

Pros: Tons of room
Easy cable management
6 SSD slots (3 below, 3 rear mounted)
Plenty of airflow
"Magnetic" side panels (2) with removable mesh

Cons: 200mm front fan can only be mounted in one spot
Vertical mounting isn't practical with the panel setup

Other Thoughts: I mainly bought this case for a "cube" pc which it is. However, when I went to vertically mount my board there posed a problem with the cases 4 panels. There are 2 mesh type panels, a clear window panel, and a bottom "foot" panel. The way it comes shipped the bottom panel with the feet have a dust cover for the intake on the PSU. When I flipped my case 90 degrees, the PSU intake went from the bottom, to the rear. That's not a big deal except the removable dust cover bottom is now wasted. When they said it had 2 mounting options they weren't lying, but they did leave out some details that put me off once I received it. Other than that the case is nice suits my build.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: A really great buy. An absolutely wonderful case, I highly recommend it!

Cons: One thing. The screws that hold on the panels are easily lost. Would be great if they had a simple washer to stop them from coming off the panels

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: Pretty cool case. Replaced a old Coolermaster I've had for years. This case plenty of room for my application. It also runs pretty noiseless.

Cons: Only con I have is when I ordered this it had a MIR which I did not receive not sure who to talk to but overall it deserves 5 eggs. You will enjoy your purchase.
