4 out of 5 eggsHappy but...

Pros: Love it! All the metal parts are great excellent quality and fit. Looks awersome and coming from a CoolerMaster 922 HAF (no new components) my water cooler and the fans keep my whole system cooler than the 922. Originally had massive neg pressure so reversed the rear fan (water cooler means no air across board so why not) and temps drom 3 degrees C across the board.

Cons: I agree withtheother reviews the the plastic pieces are junk. None of mine were actually broken, but they don't fit very well (actually the only one I really have a problem with is the shoud for the hot swap bay fan). This is a large case, but not quite modern. I have a Gigabyte GTX 680 and if I wanted to run SLI it would leave me with only one expansion slot(card uses 3 case has 7) not problem but wanted room to grow and the extra hundo for the 900D didn't seem worth it.

Other Thoughts: Would like side panel behind mobo to have some sort of central or fron and back fastener to avoid cables pusing it out. Had to reroute a few times to get it just right. Would also suggest adding a fan to your 3.5 bay (there is a mount) and if you put a fan on bottom intake make sure it will move more air than the pre-mounted one below mobo to avoid choking it and damaging your cooling performance. Oh!, and a top mounted radiator will probably leave you with only part of the third 120 mount, but wouldn't want it gone since it help vent pressure/heat now.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: VERY large, great for cable management and not having to worry about parts fitting.

Cons: Poor air cooling. My old Xclio, even missing most fans due to not following thickness standards, kept my GPU and drives cooler than this case. For $300 I'd expect some front fans.

Other Thoughts: For watercooling, not a bad case. For air cooling there are better options, more than likely much cheaper.

1 out of 5 eggsExpensive but cheaply built.

Pros: Massive. The cable management design is very nice.

Cons: As massive as this case is, there are only two bottom mounted 3.5" drive bays. No external 3.5" bays, and does not come with a USB 3 header for the front panel.

My biggest issue is the cheap plastic used in this case. My mobo backplate had broken plastic tabs when I received the case. i submitted a case for Corsair over a week ago, I STILL have not heard back. Apparently they have no quality control. The other plastic covers are very flimsy and appear to be made from the cheapest plastic available.

Other Thoughts: While I can buy the broken parts for the case. I should NOT have to when spending $300. My Antec 300 Illusions were a third the price and much much better build quality. Granted there isn't good cable management with the 300, but the quality is much better than this steamy pile of defecation.

The headaches involved with getting a hold of Corsair for support to have replacement parts is not worth dealing with.

I had considered getting a Corsair PSU and SSDs for my build, but after the lack of response from them..
I will NEVER buy Corsair again.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very large case with lots of interior room.

Easy to mod if you don't mind drilling holes and removing rivets. Added a 2x120 rad in the bottom where the other HDDs go by removing the plate, as well as 3x120 with push/pull plus a shroud on top. I cried a little drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the top for the wires to go through, but it looks sexy right now.

I love the cable management as well. My old case i had to almost sit on the back cover to get it closed, and that was 50/50. This case has more room on the backside so i don't have that problem.

Cons: Has a firewire front port. Not really a con, but most mobos don't have a 1394 header.

Same with USB 3.0, has the external A plug instead of the internal 20 pin. Lucky i had an adapter from a previous build. Not a con, you can just rout it out the WC holes and into 2 ports out back, or if you're fine with 2.0, use the included adapter.

It also doesn't have a 3.5 to 5.25 bezel adapter for a card reader, or fan/pump control. You can buy them sure, but they might not match the brushed aluminum on the front, and i am not cutting a hole in the plates.

Other Thoughts: Awesome case, worth the $280 i paid for it. I am scared to think about the 900D as it is even bigger and my board is swallowed by this case.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat but cheap design flaws!

Pros: Big case with plenty of room to work in. Hold about anything I want in it.

Cons: Quality control!! When I spend this much money on a case you would expect it to work. When you finish building your computer to discover that you have a defective power button of all things it is disappointing! You would think that Corsair, when they want you to pay roughly 300 dollars for a computer case, that they would make sure you have a functioning power button! The thing is designed with cheap thin plastic material that is supposed to act as a spring. So bear this in mind when you purchase this case, apparently it is not an uncommon problem!

Other Thoughts: C'mon Corsair!! Now I have to try and get ahold of your SLOW! customer service reps to respond to my e-mails and see about getting my entire front bezel replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsMore Than Satisfied

Pros: - This case is HUGE. More than enough space for the average enthusiast.
-Fans are for the most part quiet, especially when gaming with the sound loud.
-Very nice looking, sleek black finish.
-Hotstwappable drive bay includes screwholes for 2.5'' SSD's.
-Minimal screws as the drive bay has a latching mechanism.
-Pre-drilled holes in the upper part of the case made mounting my corsair hydro h80i a breeze.

Cons: -Price. 300$ is borderline for me not justifying this case. If you can grab it on sale under 250, do so.

Other Thoughts: A bit expensive at around 270$ (300$ w/ shipping), but I chose it anyway for my first build as it seems like a great case to "grow into."

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: Tons of room for all your components. Will easily fit any high end graphics card and up to three of em. Airflow is good and radiator mounts at the top is great for high end cooling options. Hot swap is neat for working on projects of other people's though toolless install for hot swap woulda been nice

Cons: Wish there more then two hhd bays for permanent install and this case isn't really ssd friendly only place to put one is in the hot swap and it's only held by two screws no possible way to install one in a dedicated hhd bay in the case without a adapter for it. More fan mount options woulda been handy to only a total of 4 fans for intake is a little shy for what I would have expected for a $300 case

Other Thoughts: Didn't realize exactly how massive this case is. It's huge cant even begin to imagine the size of the 900d case

5 out of 5 eggsLarge and in charge

Pros: Removable clear acrylic side panel encourages (or at least allows) customization and modulation to add a couple of fans, have lights or clean insides displayed, or in my case, airbrush a freaking stormy seascape right onto my water cooled rig. Rubber grommets at the top allow an external radiator to be placed directly on top of the three 120mm fan slots, setting up for a 120, 240, or 360 radiator right on top, just like proper heat flow dictates. The hotswap bay does what it's designed for, even if it is just a SATA passthrough. You can purchase replacement parts from Corsair directly if necessary.

Cons: I'm not too sold on the removable dust filter on the bottom of the unit. Maybe the PSU I have (also a Corsair) doesn't pull enough air for it to matter, but I definitely have more dust collected on my other intake fans' filters than on the bottom one, which makes me wonder just how efficient it is. This thing is also roughly the size of two small children.

Other Thoughts: I know it's expensive, but I couldn't be happier with mine

5 out of 5 eggsD-A-M-N!

Pros: Plenty of space, rigid/sturdy construction and excellent cable management. I purchased this case to build a gamer and though its better suited as a server case I prefer the open real-estate and ease of access a full figured case provides. Disk mounting is solid and cooling dead on. I love this case and over the years I have been fond of many cases

Cons: Not really a con just a reminder, when I purchased this case I was very careful to choose a PSU that had LONG cables, you will need them.

Other Thoughts: This case exceeded my needs but there is always room for improvement, the side panels could be a bit more rigid to match the frame, its not a big deal but if your tucking alot of cable on the back side it will bulge slightly.

4 out of 5 eggsALMOST a dream

Pros: + Massive amounts of room to work.
+ Lots of cable management options, easily the cleanest install
+ Separate chamber for PSU was nice
+ Lots of included goodies like cpu power extension cord, extra screws, sata cables (but for that price, they better be there)

Cons: - Hot swap backplate malfunction can almost ruin your build. IE: if it doesn't work, you only have two other bays to place hard drives. Removing the hot swap plate reveals a plastic housing that can't be removed and is too narrow to fit cables through.

- 140mm Fans are really quiet, but are also really weak in performance. I recommend replacing them in an air-cooled system.

Other Thoughts: I have all the precision and dexterity of a grizzly bear. Even so, the sheer size of the case's interior made building a joy. Routing cables was a breeze, though it quickly becomes cable spaghetti when everything comes together. Consider tying a few things up as you go.
