  • newegg Superior Cooling Performance Airflow is a breeze with the Carbide Series. Two front-panel intake fans and one rear exhaust fan are included, and there are a total of ten mounting points (four 120mm, six 120mm/140mm).
  • newegg Built for Builders High-performance gaming systems need lots of room to work with. With eight expansion slots and 316mm of clearance, the Carbide 400R has room for triple-GPU installations for high end system buildup.
  • newegg Future-ready Support for USB 3.0 and 2.5" SSDs is built-in. Two USB 3.0 connectors are provided on the front panel and connect directly to motherboards with compatible USB 3.0 headers. Integrated SSD support lets you install 2.5" solid-state drives in any of the hard drive bays, without having to deal with adapters.
  • newegg Easy Access Thumb screws on the side panels and tool-free drive installation mean that you’ll spend less quality time with your screwdriver, and the integrated dust filters can be quickly removed for easy maintenance.
  • newegg Looking Good, Inside and Out. The beauty on the inside goes beyond the black-painted interior. Corsair’s innovative cable management system provides a straightforward way to route cables behind the motherboard, not across it where it can interfere with airflow and give your system a cluttered look. And since looks are an important part of any build, you’ll appreciate the ability to turn the front panel fan white LEDs on or off with the push of a button.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case design

Pros: Light case with 6 internal 5.25 drive bays. The handle up front is nice if you would be moving case around. I like the fact that the thumb screws for both side covers stay on the panels when removing them. The fans are really quiet. The side covers are raised nice on the right side to keep cover from bowing with cabling.

Cons: In order for me to plug the front fan molex conector I needed a male to male molex cable which is hard to find. I wound up cutting two male connectors and sodering them together. The fan light turn on button and the reset button feel cheap. Not a big deal since I do not care about lights on a fan or use the reset button much. The caddys that whole the internal drives are cheap plastic, again not a big deal unless you would be swapping out HD's a lot then they may crack or break.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good case for under 100 bucks. I would recommend it to others.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

Pros: Awesome cooling options
Easy cable management
Easy installation of all components.
Looks sleek with all matte black outside and in.

Cons: Not quite as much cable clearance on the back side as I would like. Had to apply some pressure to get it closed up.
The convex portion of side starts slightly too late to leave room for the most used cable paths.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for under $100

Pros: Great cable management (inside of my case looks really clean helping keep things cool), plenty of room inside, great airflow, USB 3.0 on the front panel and not a bad price.

Cons: Only Con I have is that it was a pain to try and get my power supply installed. I have a Seasonic 650 and it was nothing short of a struggle. The rubber mount on it to protect the power supply sticks out just a hair too much.

5 out of 5 eggsMid Tower, High Power...

Pros: - Gorgeous
- Front LED fans look nice
- Not too bulky and heavy
- Tooless setup quality is impressive
- Build quality is impressive
- Plenty of room for my Gigabyte 2GB GeForce 770 Windforce 3X GPU

Cons: - Requires extra screw or three for the optical drives. Not sure why, but everything fits so snug, minus these. Both my ASUS and my Samsung drives wobbled and I had to screw them in for stability. Outside of that, this case does everything so well. NOTE: I have since replaced the Seagate with another ASUS as it runs quieter and looks more sleek

Other Thoughts: - Intel Core i7-4771 (w/ stock cooler), Gigabyte 2G GeForce 770 Windforce 3X, OCZ 850W PSU, ASUS Z87-PRO (V Edition), G.SKILL Sniper (4x2) DDR3-2400, Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM HDD (x2), ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS (x2)

Not only does it fit ALL of this, it fits it with a little room to spare. The GPU does not keep me from hooking up my SATA nor does it block anything I need. It all works. It is light, yet sturdy. Nothing cheap in here that I can tell. The hookups are really nice and the fans up front have a non-blinding white light that really makes this case look good at night. There is a button on the front of the case in which you can toggle on/off without going into some fancy UI or taking off the cover. Great case. No regrets, and it keeps my components cool. My CPU/GPU/RAM never exceed 46 degrees. This case is great, and I will buy again if it is available when I build something else later if a friend or family member needs it. This is a winner... hands down!

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not come with all Fans!!!

Pros: Cheap Price

Cons: Just an empty shell on top and side with holes on them. Expects you to buy fans to fill in holes. Screw to the motherboard was larger then normal. Had to use pliers to remove.Bottom grip also fell off sticker. Made Cheap. Buy something else for the same price.

Other Thoughts: Would not buy again!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Huge! Fits like 6 hard-drives and and size motherboard you want. The lighting looks great, very quiet. If I wanted to it has plenty of expansion places for fans to go onto. An excellent case for the price. Also, the handle makes it extremely easy to transport without having to lift it from the bottom.

Cons: I wish the fans came in another color other than white, when I was installing my power supply, one of the 4 screw holes was mis-alligned. it didn't really bother me that much as my power-supply was still snug but I would have liked to use all 4.

Other Thoughts: I used this to build my first PC and I do not have any regrets. Great case

5 out of 5 eggsPlenty of breathing room.

Pros: Sturdy construction, stable stance with rubber feet, plenty of ventilation and room for building.

Cons: None so far, haven't had any issues personally.

Other Thoughts: This case is a good way to go for standard gaming and building.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a case and it holds things

Pros: Room for loads of fans, keeps my air cooled system at a decent operating temperature, and I haven't had a single problem with it as far as function.

Cons: Collects more dust than a friggin' vacuum cleaner. The thingy at the top that looks deceptively like a handle is probably not a handle. Other than that, nothing.

Not really a con, buuut my idiot clumsy girlfriend stepped on my phone cable on the front USB 3.0 port (of all ports to lose, right?) and that did not stand up to the mighty destructive force of godzilla's warpath. Can't fault the case though.

Other Thoughts: I turned off the silly LED lights. No thoughts on those.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect case, for an average gamer

Pros: Enough room to fit the larger MBs and Graphic Cards, quiet stock fans, simple but cool looking.
It seems the dust won't settle on it for some reason, unlike all the other black cases I had.

Cons: I received the first case with a short on the LED light at the fans. A part of the circuit in the front went up in smoke, the lights went off but everything else, including the fans worked.
The replacement works great.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was on top of their game with my returns, having received 2 different DOA parts in the same order.
