5 out of 5 eggsSuperb case for it's price!

Pros: -Inexpensive
-Plenty of room for even the biggest of graphics cards and aftermarket CPU coolers
-Multiple places to mount fans, and it's very well ventilated; heat has not been an issue at all, even with just two case fans installed.
-Removable dust filters in all the right places!

Cons: -The cut out space for cable management could be a tad bit deeper.
-Although you can use water cooling with this case, you may want to consider a different case if you plan on water cooling.

Other Thoughts: This is a great case, if you're looking for something that is inexpensive yet still really well built.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Price

Cons: Price, lack of features, sound level, lack of cover and dust filter for top opening and side, a lot more.

Other Thoughts: I want to revise my rather favorable review for this case from further below and would like to take at least one, if not two eggs off. The reason simply that the case for the price does not offer enough!
Rather than listing again the negatives of the case, mainly the lack of a top cover/filter, inability to install Corsair's very own H110 on top due to lack of space, no filters for the side, no additional but removable drive cages etc. just look at Fractal Design's Arc Midi R2. This case is in the same price segment and offers everything the 300R doesn't, and then some.
Corsair may make great memory and PSUs, but they can learn from Fractal Design when it comes to cases and features.
If the 300R would be a budget case for max. $59 one could overlook the cons. But it's difficult to recommend this case any longer seeing that the competition can offer loads more for about the same price.

5 out of 5 eggsSaved me a lot of money

Pros: I don't own this case anymore, but when I did it was fantastic, easy to work in and great looking. I have a soft spot for this case because it saved all of my internals when I dropped my computer onto concrete from about 5 feet up. This case gets an A plus for quality, if I could give more than 5 eggs I would.

Cons: None at all, can't beat it for the money.

4 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: This was my first case I ever bought and I have been very pleased with it ever since I got it. I have a HIS HD 7870 in it and it fits perfectly in the first slot, right above the drive cage. It's big, roomy, easy to cable, I was impressed. But I don't have much experience with other cases so I can't compare. For my first time build case, this still works well for me.

Cons: My only qualm with the case is all of the mesh; top, side, front, back. It has lots of room for fans and air intake but I just run it with the two stock fans and my heatsink and there is no sound blockage whatsoever. That would be something I look for in choosing my next case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case But Overpriced For What You Get

Pros: Price, Built Quality, Fan Options, Airflow

Cons: Price, No Fan Filters/Covers for Top Vent and Side

Other Thoughts: I did a lot research on a new case for my upcoming build and this case, overall, comes out as "the best" looking at the price, cooling performance, built quality and looks.

But there is something which I think is very annoying about this case and this is the missing filters for the side intakes and *especially* a cover for the mesh on top of the case.

This is not a $30 budget case by any means (I paid €75 for it, yes this is Euro!) and those things not included make me very angry.

I now have to look for a 3rd party solution to make a top cover myself, eg. by cutting some dampening material. Otherwise the top of the case is basically open where dust, dirt from the desk, dirt from the cats who like to sit on my PC would fall inside which I think is unacceptable. I think I could've expected a simple plastic cover to snap-in worth $0.50 included with a €75 case.

The same with the filters for the side-intakes.

I am now forced to buy 3rd party filters and see how I can make a cover for the top, added expenses which should not be for a €75 case.

So, while the price initially is a "pro" for this case it is also a "con" since the case should offer more for the price.

That the top mesh is open by default with no means to cover it is for the above reasons (dirt etc.) but even more so for acoustic reasons a big negative for me. Otherwise this would be a perfect case, even sound levels (something often criticized when you read reviews of this case) would likely be a lot better, all because the company didn't add a top cover. I think it's silly that one has to think about modding (even something simple as filters or a vent cover) with a brand-new case, this shouldn't be.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case, but always a downside

Pros: Lots of space for a long video card. Lots of locations to mount fans. Keeps my dual HD 7970s cool. Looks good with white power and HD LEDs. HD connectors lead can go right out to the wire compartment and stay out of my way.

Cons: Using an ATX motherboard, I can only fit one long video card. Due to the location of the PCIe slots, another would not fit. Only came with a USB 3.0 mobo connector. My mobo does not have 3.0 and now I have to buy an adapter. Corsair should include one.

5 out of 5 eggsNo regrets

Pros: I'm definitely glad I got this case! It's easy to organize a lot of the wires and cables inside the case using the compartment behind the motherboard and it's minimize the number of cables impeding the air flow from the cooling fans.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from this

Pros: Well ventilated

Cons: Corsair …. Run fast away from this stuff unless you are buying Corsair memory. I believe they never road test their hardware. Nothing fits together, the H110 CPU Cooler is too long and hits the HD bays, the H105 CPU Cooler is to thick and hits the top of the video card. Neither cooler can be mounted inside on the top because the fans hit motherboard heatsinks at the top of most upper lever motherboards like the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H I got from New Egg at a great price. Another reviewer made a true statement; the only place to mount a better cooler is externally where children and pets could be endangered of being hurt. In the back room at Corsair the left hand doesn’t know right hand is doing. I believe if you are going to buy this case you need to add a good dremel tool with extra cutting bit to your order. Think about that, this company produces this case and its understudy that won’t accommodate the better Liquid Cooling units without cutting and chopping up the cases. Think about how many headaches and RMA’s could be avoided if Corsair did a few minutes of road testing.

Other Thoughts: If you take this case home take out your dremel tool.

4 out of 5 eggsStylish an inexpensive

Pros: +Sleek styling
+lots of room for upgrades
+the trays for smaller SSD drives are very nice
+Cable management is.... okay...

Cons: I purchased this case with a thermaltake 2.0 extreme cooler in mind for my cooling device. It would not fit in the case with the motherboard and everything else finally seated in. I had to make some modifications to the case to allow it to fit. Luckily the mesh cover on the top is removable... I took that off, attached the liquid cooler and used some plastic to raise up the mesh from the case itself about a quarter of an inch. I had to use some nice looking tape (oxymoron) to attach it to the case. It looks ghetto rigged if you look closely but it isn't noticeable from a distance.

3 out of 5 eggsExpansion Slots Don't Line Up

Pros: - Cheap
- Spacious
- Lots of fan spots
- Decent Quality

Cons: I have two minor problems with this case:

1. The sides of the case have a tendency to warp which makes putting them back on a hassel.

2. The expansion slots don't quite line up with my graphics card. The frame of the slot overlaps with the HDMI port on my card slightly which makes it short out when the HDMI is plugged in.

Unfortunately this has prevented me from being able to connect my TV through my graphics card. I was able to work around it by using my motherboard ports but I can't use graphic intensive programs on my TV.

I only took 2 stars off because it's a pretty decent case but the fact that I can't use my HDMI port has been somewhat limiting. This may be only a problem with my case though.

Other Thoughts: My specs:
XFX 280x Black Edition
i5-4690k
Gigabyte GA-z97x-UD3H-BK
Rosewill Capstone 750W-M
