5 out of 5 eggsI'm in Love.

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Gunmetal Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: There are just so many of them!!! 'm going to try to make a list of them for you...

*Solid There is absolutely nothing cheap about this case that I have found.

*I've read several reviews saying that the handles on top seem flimsy, but come on, this thing is steal.. they aren't going anywhere and I can't honestly tell why people are saying that.

*Nice big side panel window. I'm one of those people that love to be able to see the inner workings of my system and swell with pride at the pretty glow of LEDs... with this I am able to.

*It came with every single thing that I needed.

I was able to fit some pretty beasty competents into this thing without any problems. My husband doubted its ability to hold a very large heat sync for the CPU and a very large graphics card, but sure enough.. it took it like a champ.

*ALL OF THE FANS! It comes with 3, but I honestly didn't use them as I purchased Purple LED fans to use instead. But depending on how big your components are, this case can hold up to 11 fans. Because of the size of what I put into my case I can only use 8 fans. But airflow in this thing is amazing so that many isn't really necessary.,... I just like the way it looks all lit up and pretty.

*No thumb screws to hold it shut! This was pretty neat. The case has .. essentially clamps on the top to hold the case shut. It just feels so so solid and gives a really nice visual effect.

*The wiring harness. The cable management in this thing is absolutely amazing. without even having to try, everything is nice and tidy and all buttoned up.

I know there is more but that's all I've got.

Cons: not a single one.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Case, clips might need some care

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Gunmetal Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Solid, and Great Case. Nice look, great cost, has held up for over 2 years now.

Cons: the clips are metal, but not a single metal piece, they are wire/bent, and can easily break/bend and disform. I've had to re-bend them and find/put them back a few times now.

Other Thoughts: The rubber washers are nice to keep it silent, and I've lost several of them in travel now.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Gunmetal Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Great handles. I don't get other people who say they aren't solid: they're completely made of metal. I carry my rig around without a problem using those handles and it really facilitates moving your rig! Genius idea by Corsair.
-Reset button is really cool
-Cable management is easy! There are clips in the back of the case where you can tuck all your cables in and the clips hold them down so that you can put the panel easily.
-Looks beautiful (subjective however)
-Opening the side panels are so easy. Screw the screws!
-Removable HDD cage. Awesome.
-2 dust filters under the case
-The case has feet, which enables you to turn the power supply fan downwards. They're not very high however, compared to my old case, Thermaltake Overseer RX-i (terrible case, do not consider any cases from Thermaltake, they're terrible)
-2 USB 3.0 ports on the front panel

Cons: -Extremely flimsy drive bays. One of the bays' metal clips bent. Installation was hard at first because I wasn't sure if I had to bent the bay to insert the drive. Turns out you do. Once you know the method, you're golden, it's extremely easy to put.
-No dust filter for the side panel window.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why, but there are two fans that are attached to the HDD cage. They're intake fans, but they won't be getting much cold hair from your SSDs and HDDs in the HDD cages, at least that's what I think, from my general understanding of physics. What I did was I removed the top HDD cage (watch out for the screw on the other side btw) and put the fan that was attached to said HDD cage behind the front panel, to suck more air in. The fans that come with the case aren't really special by the way, so if you want maximum airflow, get some Noctua or Corsair AF fans.

Also, to remove the front panel (since there are no clear instructions on the internet), you have to remove both side panels and then look for some clips around the optical drive bay and HDD cage area, on the front panel's side. I did the mistake of trying to muscle the front panel out, thankfully the clips are made of metal so they did not break

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this case and with Corsair overall. I've purchased two other Corsair cases (200R), one for my aunt's build and another one for my mom's build and I've had no problems. I have ditched that terrible Thermaltake case once and for all! I am free, with this extremely durable case!

Seriously though, this case feels extremely durable. I have a feeling I'm going to keep this case for at least 5 years..

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Gunmetal Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Here is what I wrote down while doing my build.

-packed in box with pre-formed foam so UPS won't break it
-washable intake vents on bottom and front
-comes with screws for EVERYTHING
-thumb screw parts can also be tightened with screw driver
-can fit two normal 120mm fans behind front panel, special long screws included
-can have push-pull configuration with fans on your hard drives
-can put 140mm or 120mm fans in the top... or a 280mm radiator maybe.
-I am using 240mm radiator up top & there is room to spare (about 20mm each side, 6 mm to board)
-included fans are fairly quiet
-PSU heat is isolated from case
-wire management grommets
-ingenious air flow for HDD's and SSD's
-hole to change CPU heat sink bracket without removing motherboard
-there is a peg in the middle of the board to hold it in place while mounting
-stand-offs are built into the board
-Wire management stuff on right side is VERY HANDY. places for ties, and has clips
-HDD trays are completely removable (two parts, three trays each)
-Front panel stuff is removable (power, reset, USB 3.0). If you want to do this, you have to pop the weld points on the front part of the case. but the tray itself is held in with screws.
-Front of case has room on the edges for custom LED modding
-Solid carry handles
-If you take out the hard drive trays, there is a THIRD radiator location option

Cons: Be careful with front panel.

-No case speaker
-Taking front off & putting back on is tricky. be careful with the tabs that hold it on. they SHOULD have used internal thumb screws
-No optional side window with no holes from Corsair

Other Thoughts: This case is INSANELY GRATIFYING.

Out of all of my builds.. This is the FIRST ONE to provide all of my needs.

Using Corsair H105 for my cooler

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Gunmetal Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is pretty great. It's easy to open up the case and make any changes to the internal components. Overall, the management of cables works well. This case has some fantastic features, and I made a lucky choice in it as a first-time builder.

Cons: For all of the great perks of this case, there are some things that are a little confusing for newbies. The amount of screws and other materials is a little daunting, and there are no clues about which screws are for which things. Positioning the hard drive in its bay was also tricky at first, but there are only so many directions that can go.

Make sure you get a power supply and cables that will allow you to plug in the three fans that come with this case alongside with a cpu fan! I had to buy some extra cables at the end of my build because I hadn't planned for that.
