A compact expression of Corsair's gaming philosophy.

Great systems start with a great case, and Carbide Series 300R provides a remarkable number of features in a compact chassis. Easy access, lots of room for expansion, and superior cooling make the 300R a great choice for building powerful PCs that don't take up a lot of room.

  • newegg Serious cooling potential The 300R is equipped with two fans for intake and exhaust, and the integrated dust filters on the front and bottom intakes are easy removable. There's room for you to install five more fans, including mounting points for two side panel 120mm fans for drawing cool air directly over your GPUs. If you're building a multi-GPU gaming rig, proper graphics ventilation is essential.
  • newegg It's big where it counts Despite its size, the 300R can fit extra-long graphics cards of up to 450mm length, and it has three optical drive bays and four hard drive bays. All the bays are tool-free, and the hard drive bays have integrated support for 2.5" drives, so you won't need to deal with adapters when installing SSDs.
  • newegg Build quality Whether you're building multiple systems or just one, and whether you're a professional or if it's your very first build, the 300R has the smart features that matter. Just like the drive bays, the side panels are tool-free, so you'll spend less quality time with your screwdriver. The black painted interior has a CPU cutout for quick installing or upgrading of CPU heatsinks, and Corsair's innovative cable management system provides a straightforward way to route cables behind the motherboard, not across it where it can interfere with airflow and give your system a cluttered look.
  • newegg Bottom Placed PSU The bottom placed PSU design guarantees enhanced case stability and better heat dissipation. The removable dust filter allows easy cleaning.
  • newegg Front panel USB ports Enjoy maximum performance from modern peripherals. Two USB 3.0 connectors enable lightning fast data transfer with compatible devices.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, easy on the wallet.

Pros: - Built in USB 3.0 Headers.
- Plenty of extra room for cable management/larger GPUs.
- Screens where PSU fan, and intake fan is.
- Plenty of air cooling/water cooling options (can fit up to 7 fans, comes with 2 and they are quiet!).
- Tool-less design.

Cons: - None so far as I can tell.

Other Thoughts: - Would have liked screens for rear exhaust fan and top of case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cable manegment

Pros: Easy to hide cables and keep things clean

Fans are good quality and quiet. They move a good amount of air.

Case looks good

No sharp edges

Cons: Plastic front and buttons.

Other Thoughts: For the price I am very satisfied. This is the first case that I have dealt with that had superb cable routing options. The fans are also decent.

For the price it is great, it lacks the expensive features that you see on other corsair models but it is also much cheaper. It has all the essentials you would need like a 2.5inch ssd bay, cable management, quiet fans, sturdy construction.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks great

Pros: Great case, plenty of routing cables out of site. Fans that come with the case are quiet and move enough air for an office setting. Plenty of other places to install fans if needed.

Cons: One person mentioned that he thought the sides seemed flimsy; I'd agree with that, but keep in mind that one of the sides is just clear plastic.

Other Thoughts: Buy it; I know I'll be buying more.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Simplistic, professional looks. Windowed. Lots of volume. Lots of mounts for fans.

Cons: Build quality seems a tad lower than I was expecting. The side panels are really flimsy and they don't seem to actually fit completely when attached.

Other Thoughts: I haven't been able to put the system together yet, as the weather stopped my parts from getting here with the case. Cooling looks like it won't be a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Pretty awesome case, I love it so far. Very solid, has lots of space for pretty much anything you want to put into it. pretty cheap too.

Cons: The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the side panels are a little funny, The windowed side panel is bent a little so its hard to get on but its not that big of a deal to me.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case! Obvious flaws.

Pros: Very crisp look and design to this case. Like the way it looks, like the mesh top and front panel, and I like the sleek look.
This case has a ton of cooling options as well, two 140mm/120mm top fans, two 140mm/120mm front fans, two 140mm/120mm side fans (however, I'd recommend not using these because it interferes with larger graphics cards) and a 120mm rear exhaust fan.
This case comes with removable dust filters, which I never use because they never seem to get dusty. It also features three tool-less 5.25" drive bays which could either be a good or a bad thing. Five, 3.5 or 2.5" hdd/ssd drives which are removable, and a gap for longer graphics cards between the two systems. Front panel USB-3 connectors, and audio jacks and a non annoying LED system.
I would say there are definitely tougher cases on the market for the money, but might not offer you the benefits that this case might offer to someone looking for a smaller form factor case.
Some SERIOUS Corsair quality here. I like the fact that my motherboard didn't have to be forced onto the stand-offs on the motherboard tray, it just dropped right in there. Also the area behind the motherboard tray is huge, I could mess with my heatsink while the motherboard was attached to the case. Great options, I know some cases limit the accessibility for aftermarket heat sinks, but this one doesn't!

Cons: I read a lot of reviews before buying this product, and while I'm very impressed with the final product, I think there is one thing that remains to be desired, and that is the cable management section behind the motherboard. Many reviewers for this product claimed that it had "tons of space" behind the motherboard, and tons of cable management options. Definitely not the case, I ended up purchasing some red cable extensions, and didn't use them because there would be no room for all the cables behind the motherboard. Also, any boards using a 4/8 pin PCI motherboard connectors you're in for a treat, you need to route them elsewhere because there's no room for them above the motherboard.
SIDE PANELS. This is weird because usually Corsair products are all around awesome. The side panels are tough to remove.
Built in standoffs. This is a weird one, it really didn't bother me, but for some users it might be a negative.
I would say there are definitely tougher cases on the market for the money, but might not offer you the benefits that this case might offer to someone looking for a smaller form factor case.

Other Thoughts: Definitely a solid 4/5 eggs. Just a few things I overlooked before purchasing this case. I'm definitely happier than disappointed though, but that comes from an enthusiast.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Product

Pros: Easy case to work in, wire management looks amazing, can't be beat for the money. It also holds up well, I've seen cases not hold up well for long.

Cons: No rubber grommets.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice to have grommets, but I don't need them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Spacious, able to neatly install an average gaming system in it. Cable management is great for its price/ tier

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: No real way to modify the layout, but for its price and function, not a problem

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sleek
Color Scheme
Clean Build
Clear Side Panel

Cons: Only one Motherboard mounter
Front Dust Filter isn't accessible

Other Thoughts: It would've been more awesome if the front panel had a accessible dust filter but I'm not complaining.
