5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: I have built many systems over the year and I have to say that I found this case to be the biggest surprise. Best cable management features I have seen in any case I have used so far and that's saying something considering I am coming off an Antec 902.

Cons: Power button could be better.
Falls behind in looks but how often do you look at your CPU when using a computer?

5 out of 5 eggsThis is a great case for big builds!

Pros: this case is sturdy!

this case has enough slots, bays, cutouts, and passthroughs that you can make any build, no matter how many parts, how many drives or what kind of drives or peripherals you need to install, look clean and professional. I really like this case for big builds.

I like the fact that the power supply takes air from under the case and ejects it out the back. this is really nice to keep an otherwise cool build, free of the heat of the PSU. pay attention to which PSU you put in it, but I love it.

you can install enough fans in this case to make it almost hover... not a big thing for most builds, but a great thing in a big build with lots of drives.

Cons: Be very deliberate in your PSU selection. it has to be a bottom fan PSU, not a side fan.

also, the filter will start to rattle and hum after a few weeks, i padded it with electrical tape, but I shouldn't have needed to if it were built right.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this case FOR BIG BUILDS. this case is large, bulky and solid, but will hold anything. Heat management in this case is AIR COOLING only, but it has so many options for fan mounting that this is not really a down side.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Budget Case

Pros: Love almost everything about it. Get almost all the features you would get on a higher end case.

Cons: Two of the rubber feet have fallen off from moving my PC out from under my desk a few times. No big deal really. Will eventually glue them on or something.

2 out of 5 eggsA little lackluster, Go for a higher model

Pros: -There's room for big graphics cards and the other things that you want to put into a PC.
-It can accommodate a 120mm radiator- I'm using an H60 in mine and even put it in a "push-pull" configuration.
-Sound dampeners on the fan ports
-A generally good case.
-SSD mounts are pretty good.

Cons: -One of the retaining tabs that holds the Front Bezel Assy (the front plate) broke within SECONDS of me taking this case out of the box. I am an experienced system builder and have used a wide variety of cases and this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I was attempting to remove the stock case fans when this happened. I just priced a replacement part on Corsair and its $9.99- might as well have ponied up another 20 or so dollars and gotten a higher model case in the first place. I'm sure Newegg or Corsair would be willing to exchange the part... after I pay to ship the broken one to them for about $9.99.

-The reset switch is broken. Again, I've built and rebuilt alot of computers over the last 12 or so years so I know how to connect IO switches to the headers on a mobo (I can also read and consult a manual when I get over my head)- the reset switch is broken. A new front IO Panel goes for $9.99.

- The case is billed as having 2 x 120mm fan ports in the front however i have found that the second one is useless unless you remove the plastic drive cage (which removes the easy install ssd mounts) Even if you do remove the drive cage any fan you mount there will be just for show- as there wont be a lot of airflow.

- The case is also billed as being able to accept 140mm fans in the top and side panel which I almost purchased with this case- The top can, in fact, accept 140s- that's a bright spot. You MIGHT be able to get a double 120mm radiator up there depending on your board. But for the side panel while there are mounting holes 140mm fans the actual area that the air will pass through is really only good for 120s- go look closely at the pictures and you'll see what I mean. You certainly could put 2 expensive AF140s in your case and I'm sure that some engineer could tell you about the benefits but common sense would tell you that 20mm of those fans wont be seeing any fresh air.

- Stock Corsair case fans are really loud- they are obviously not the same ones they sell separately.

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty disappointed with this case- for years I'd been telling myself that some day I'd build a PC in a Corsair case and whenever I'd build a PC something would always stop me from making that happen.
Well this year I made the conscious decision to pick out a Corsair case along with corsair ram, cooler, psu, and SSD (I thought it'd be a pretty classy build). I was fully aware that this was their "entry level" case but I thought I'd get to see a little bit of that legendary quality that these guys were known for. What I got was "meh"

Save your money gents- go for one of the graphite or obsidian cases- or heck another manufacturer.

4 out of 5 eggsA real shocker

Pros: This case is a lightweight powerhouse. It is almost if not completely tool less. All the parts have function, and it pulls its looks off well. There is plenty of room to put in the longest and most demanding graphics cards, and third party heatsinks. The rubber to help with the fans work well, and they are able to be moved to other holes to accommodate larger fan sizes. This case can accommodate at least 8 hard drives. 4 solid state and at least 4 3.5". There is a lot of places to mount fans and water cooling solutions. There is a nice amount of room for this case to manage cables as well. This case really knocks it out of the park for me. It doesn't meet cases of higher caliber, but it was never designed to.

Cons: The tie down points are far and few between. You have lots of room for cables, but you have to clump them together regardless of whether or not it's the shortest path in order to secure it.
The fans at the bottom leave more to be desired. They sit too close to the ground and power supply to be greatly effective in any measureable way. If they were propped up on higher feet or in the case this wouldn't be as much of a problem. Also, the front of the case doesn't give enough space for airflow. Those side vents will need to be dusted on a weekly basis because it all goes in two small slits .

Other Thoughts: I couldn't blame this value oriented case for main construction and build quality. So I focused on things that I mainly exist in cases at this price point. While in most cases this exceeds most other cases I deal with, it lacks in the areas that I put in the cons.
All in all this is an excellent example of what a case should be.

4 out of 5 eggsDon't Fill the 3.5in Bays!

Pros: Lots of room behind the motherboard tray, and mostly well located slots for putting cables through. Didn't notice any sharp edges. Second case for me with this cable hiding 'technology' - have to admit the OCD part of me really liked it. Filled it out most of the way and it still looks neat and is very quiet despite all the holes...

Cons: Did I mention filled out? That 3.5in hard drive bay has atrocious air flow through it when it is full. The middle two drives suffer the most. All my other cases get up in the low 30s Celsius max when working hard. I had to put a Noctua F12 in just to get the middle drives down to 40 Celsius. Probably won't be happy until I put in one of their industrial 2k RPM drives. Never had to work this hard to cool HDs.

Other Thoughts: Combined with a modular Corsair 600W power supply, and it works pretty well. Got an IcyDock 3.5in to 5.25in adapter to add the USB3 based card reader. Took a pcie1x for a Hoo-Too USB3 adapter - the chipset matched the one on the ASUS mobo so no further driver installation needed.

Oh - a little, neatly cut, square of blue painter's tape tamed that power led. Competition for the Nebo otherwise...

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Came in without any scratches, well packaged and still hold up after a couple of months, REALLY easy to build in, and looks goooood

Cons: One of the drive cage slot is a little hard to put a HDD inside, but apart from that, nothing!

Other Thoughts: If you want to build a system and don't want to scratch your head constantly than get this, super easy to build and and everything runs cool

5 out of 5 eggsLight and Well engineered

Pros: My first Cosrair case. I'm impressed. No sharp edges, excellent finish and everything fits together very well. Lots of options for mounting fans and a layout that puts the power supply at the bottom is great. All the bays actually hold the drives snugly leaving no doubt that the drives are secure. Cable management was very easy on this case with multiple tie down points.

Cons: Instructions are a bit lacking. I have never owned a case with so many fan mounting options. I would have been nice to have some suggested layouts for max airflow or max noise reductions but a bit of experimentation took care of that for me. Other reviewers have indicated the lack of screens on the fan openings as a concern. Having read those reviews beforehand, I was prepared with some screen material prior to the build.

Other Thoughts: I was completely surprised by this case. I normally purchase a different brand that runs $50 to $75 more for their cases. What I received is a case that is every bit those expensive cases, and more. This is a great case for the money! For those looking for a budget priced case but still want a higher end design, this is it.
