5 out of 5 eggsGreat tower

Pros: This is bigger than I expected. Of course, I didn't read the measurements, but this is a quality case.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsCarbide 200r

Pros: Lots of drive bays for an entry to mid level system. Cable management is relatively easy, just need to spend more time for the final routing all my cables. Lots of room.

Cons: I don't know if this is too big of a deal for me as I have plenty of fans in there to keep everything cool, but with the 212 hyper evo there isn't enough room to get a fan on the upper side panel fan spot. But I'm going to be ordering a 140mm for the lower spot, as it's unimpeded.

Other Thoughts: Carbide 200r
Asrock Z170 Pro
Skylake 6700k
8gb of Corsair ddr4
R9 380
Corsair LM750
Corsair 120gb ssd
CoolerMaster 212 Hyper Evo
And a couple of Corsair 120af case fans

5 out of 5 eggsGood for beginner builds.

Pros: Better cable management than by prebuilt pc.
Simple. (I like simple)

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: I got this one because I didn't want one with a window yet. At the moment, if I did buy one with a window, it would look like a dirty rainbow.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for first-time builders

Pros: - neither garish nor gaudy, unlike most offerings at this price point
- easy enough to work in, has enough space behind the motherboard to hide cable "management"
- tool-less drive bays aren't that flimsy
- the two fans it comes with are pretty quiet
- can fit a 120 mm radiator on top
- tool-less setup is nice

Cons: - has more open vents than dust filters, but at least the front and PSU intakes have filters
- power on light is kinda bright
- front is plastic, not metal
- not a lot of room up front for more than the one intake fan
- SSD's might get some airflow, but HDD's definitely won't

Other Thoughts: I used this case for my first build, and it has done everything well. The whole tool-less thing was nice and easy to work with, and even though I live in CA, I'm not worried about earthquakes shaking my drives out of their spots or anything. The inside of the case is painted just like the outside, which just seems nice to me. The biggest offense this case commits, although most cases do this, is having huge vents that have nothing to keep dust from coming in. Aside from that, I'm glad I chose this case, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: -very large will accommodate pretty much any MB and Graphics card you can put in it.
-extremely fast delivery for me at least.
-come with fans in it you can take them out and put better ones in but the given fans work fine

Cons: -The main USB pin chord that plugs in to MB is a finicky if you're not careful it could fall out used it on 2 MB same thing on both
-very large yes both a pro and con but the thing so big it does not fit under my desk and is on the side
-Chord for the fan depending on MB will run across the CPU fan happens on both MB i had

Other Thoughts: all in all good quality case recommended for you if you have the space

4 out of 5 eggsSolid case for the money

Pros: Corsair cases always are built with a solid feel and the carbide series has a nice clean look to them. Everything fit in the case fairly easily including my Nvidia 960. and features 2 compartments for ssd's so you dont have to buy adapters.

Cons: My case in particular came with a bad rear fan. I believe the connector for it was loose. It was a simple $10 fix to buy a new fan at the local best buy. I was it came with dust filters for the side and the particularly the top because it is pretty open and will allow for dust buildup relatively quickly compared to other cases. and corsair offers top dust filters for their other cases but not this one.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality full ATX chassis.

Pros: Thumb screws.
Easy to install hard drives, solid state drives, and dvd/bd drives.
Cable management is easy.
Plenty of space.
Painted black interior.
Much higher quality than I was expecting at its price range. It really was a steal.

Cons: There isn't much space between the edge of the motherboard and the top of the case. This means that large heatsinks can be difficult to install.
Black is kind of dull.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy this again, especially if it was on sale again.
Newegg gave me a corsair fan as well, but neither the chassis or the fan came with the pins to install the fan. Even without extra fans, the current rig runs incredibly cool.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: takes up to 8 fans, removable HDD rack, fits h100, room for cables(just) and its corsair so build quality is pretty good

Cons: Even though an H100 will fit on the top, you can not do push pull configurations(I guess if you really wanted to you could but you'd have fans on the outside of your case). At least with my older biostar tp67xe mobo, the second fan hits the ram(I dont have tall ram). No ssd mounts hidden behind mobo, somewhat restricted air flow, does not include usb 3.0 to 2.0 converter for mobo with only 2.0 pins, luckily my old case had one. Kind of con for newegg here, I bought mine at local Micro store and they had this case in 2 options, this one and one with a window (no fan holes) for 5 bucks less. I opted for the window as I was already spending a little more than I wanted to plus who doesn't like a window. Even knowing I lost 2 spots for fans by getting the window I wasn't really worried about the air flow, I could still hook up 6 fans.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine at micro store so I could look at all the cases, glad I did I almost bought the carbide spec 01 online. After looking at them both in the store, the spec 01 just looked childish. Even though the front was open for better air flow I figured the 200R would be sufficient, plus it comes with 2 fans instead of 1. The pros of this case really outweigh the cons, the air flow in this case really is not bad, I see only 1 or 2 degree temps raised during idle compared to my old coolermaster case that did not restrict the front fans. No difference in temps under load. I'm happy with that.
