3 out of 5 eggsThis is NOT Aluminum case

Pros: Solid case, enough room to put in everything.

Cons: 1. This is Not a Aluminum case. It is Steel! Disappointed.

2. The side panel need some effort to open. For quality, it is not as good as Lianli.

3. The magnetic on dust filter lost suction.

Other Thoughts: It is kind of heavy. They should put wheels on the bottom.

3 out of 5 eggsNo Screws

Pros: Big case

Cons: NO Screws to mount the mobo or fans showed up with the case.....

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We're sorry to hear that your case didn't come with mounting screws. Please double check the drive bays for a brown box as these boxes contain screws, zipties, etc. If you still cannot find the screws, feel free to submit a ticket at corsair.force.com or call us at 888-222-4346 and we'll be happy to send you new set of mounting screws.

Thank you,

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: Spacious doesnt begin to describe it.
Sturdy construction for the most part.

Cons: Magnets for lower doors are a little bit weak.
Hinges on the lower doors are just a little bit flimsy and require care when opening while case is on carpeting.
Hard drive bays are a little bit flimsy but not excessively so.

Other Thoughts: Case arrived in fantastic condition. Box was a little dinged up but the case itself was in pristine condition. As I said the magnets for the lower doors are a little bit weak, but I added a very small 1/4 inch diameter neodymium magnet on top of the existing ones and it holds great now. The hinges on the lower doors do need to be about 1/16th inch thicker to prevent bending but if you pay attention its not an issue. The drive bays are made out of plastic which works decently so long as you dont try and he man it in there.

3 out of 5 eggsFlimsy parts for a heavy case

Pros: Cavernous

Cons: Some really cheap components in an otherwise massive case

Other Thoughts: Received the case today. The box was not damaged but it apparently was shipped upside down. Many of the 3 1/2 bay retainers had come out, along with their hinge pins. I found all but one retainer/pin set. (It's pretty hard shaking this case like a piggy bank looking for loose parts the size of a pencil lead). Corsair's RMA process is not the best -- their first suggestion was to return the case to Newegg for a replacement...

RMA is now filed, waiting to see how it goes with Corsair. I wish the parts inside were just a bit better -- some parts are pretty flimsy for a case like this.

5 out of 5 eggs900d

Pros: Lots of space, wide case also beautiful large side window!
Great air flow!!

Cons: The io, we're video cards stii, that aluminum to week, it bends! !! I'm running 3 gigabyte 980s gtx and I'm noticing some sagging on the video cards!

Other Thoughts: That whole are on the back were video card screw in should be all steel , I'm I can literally bend with my hand . Other than that, great PC case!

5 out of 5 eggslast case I'll ever need.

Pros: This thing IS the beast. The single largest and best looking case that money can buy. It's big, perhaps unnecessarily so for many, and heavy to boot. You have a lot to work with inside, though. It can fit practically any variety of system inside and still give you the room to stuff your cat inside while still providing good air flow.

Cons: Mine has a tendency to resist pulling off the windowed case panel, and my fingers cry out in painful pleasure every time.

Other Thoughts: This is a kind of case that you pick as the first component and then TRY to do it justice with the machine that gets housed inside. Suitable for nothing short of extreme, massive, powerful builds. Do yourself a favor and snag this if you're looking to build a real monster. Nothing else will suffice.

5 out of 5 eggsBIG

Pros: HUUUUUUUGE .... This thing is the size of most compact sedans.. I think my landlord mistook it as the garage for his smart car. Seriously this thing can fit any Motherboard, that at least I can think of, the corsair H110 looks tiny inside it, I'm thinking of grabbing the Radiator of a 67 Trans Am to shove in there, it'd probably fit (no not really ...) cabling is a dream, there's a large (I didn't measure) space between the motherboard tray and the outside wall that allows for basically any cabling needs, the front mounted drive cages are movable, but the manual isn't overly descriptive about that, but it's basically common sense, oh look, a screw, I think I need to remove that. one thing that I did have issues with was my fan controller. I have the AeroCool Touch 2100, and in this particular case, there are small plastic "guides" on the bezel which I guess are there to ensure alignment and to "support" the 5 1/4" drives, but they get in the way of my fan controller, and needed to be "removed" and I'm not a fan of yanking out the hacksaw so to speak. That doesn't effect my opinion of the case, it's simply something that MIGHT effect some people.

Cons: Not so much a con as a be aware of. Like I said before, the case is gigantic in every way you can think, so Power Supplies with shorter cables, or shorter SATA cables need not apply here, just make sure your cables are long enough, especially the top most 5 1/4" and the location of your 4 or 8 pin CPU header, though Corsair does include an extension for that.

Weight, it's a heavy case, VERY heavy, but that's expected at this size.

Other Thoughts: Excellent case, if space isn't an issue.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Flimsy Parts

Pros: When I initially received this case, I said "wow, will that fit under my desk?". Beautiful packaging, would assume that nothing would get scratched/bent/broken during shipping. It's very big, big enough to accommodate an X99 E-ATX board and still have about 5 inches to the drive cages. Plenty of fan & radiator options so this case is awesome for those that plan on using a liquid-cooling setup, and it will fit a standard thickness radiator in push/pull on the top with no problem. Plenty of cable routing holes and lips on the back of the motherboard tray, bulky/crossing cables don't even stress this case.

Cons: The Q/C on these cases should be better, I got mine with one of the three HDD bays warped, as a result the cages won't stay in place and lock into place all of the way; in addition I managed to break one of the cage's tiny metal pegs by sliding a HDD over it, the hinge on the door also fell out while it was sitting upside down on top the case, takes 3 seconds to fix, but come on. Bottom bay doors are flimsy with weak magnets, mine were bent and the window side have a hard time staying closed. Only four optical bays, but who uses them anymore?

Other Thoughts: I bought this case as my end-all of cases, starting with my X99 build featuring the latest components and a custom liquid-cooling loop. I only knocked off one Egg for the manufacturing defects, it's still a pretty good case and will rock out right alongside my 550D.
