4 out of 5 eggsvery happy (this time)

Pros: ordered one a few years back and had the dreaded "broken front clips" issue was not pleased..... but this time happy to report case was in perfect condition
love the build quality and overall look, the front brushed aluminum is stylish
cabling inside is great and all black = NICE

Cons: what does let this case down is IF you add a dvd drive it is NOT flush with the front of the case
why corsair did this is.......well i don't even have a clue why!!!! it looks BAD
i did not mount a optical drive because of this

Other Thoughts: all in all very nice stylish case which is well thought out and easy to build with

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect General-Use Case

Pros: - Very competitive price: not the cheapest case on the market, but wonderful value for money
- Really well thought-out interior
- Compatible with serious hardware despite it's modest footprint
- Included fans (the rear one, at least-- I didn't hook the front one up) throttle back nicely: no annoying vibrations or noises at low RPM. Very quiet!
- Nice looks-- especially for a $100 case! Very elegant and does really well in the aesthetics department given the mostly modest materials (steel + plastic)
- Cable management was a breeze

Cons: - None, really. I mean it.

Other Thoughts: This case is wonderful. It looked pretty good on paper (not bad looking, practical layout, etc), but was even more impressive in the flesh. The layout of the case is very well thought-out: from its ability to swallow chunky hardware (beefy PSUs, big GPUs, water cooling loops: you name it, there's space for it), to the ease of cable management and the clever, easy-access dust filters, this case is great. It offers a lot of options.

The system I built in the case is very basic (it's actually just an assembled motherboard with an on-board M.2 SSD connected to a power supply-- integrated graphics, stock Intel cooler, etc), but it went together with total ease. Cable management (for what cables there are, anyway) was incredibly easy and there are lots of slots left for additional cabling should we add any devices in the future. The tool-less drive bays are nice: I test fit a 3.5" HDD just for kicks and it snaps in really easily with the connectors pointed away from the window.

Although I built a basic system this time, I feel like I could just as easily have built a tidy, watercooled gaming setup in here with a full-size GPU or two and still had room to spare. Great little case, and excellent value. 10/10 would buy again (and probably will).

5 out of 5 eggsI like this case

Pros: Initially I bought a carbide series case and had to order the Obsidian series. This is because the liquid cooler I bought didn't fit into the carbide case I ordered. I'm glad I ordered the Obsidian case because the build quality is much better and feels more solid than the carbide series. Thicker metal, better screws and the placement of the drive bays work much better. I haven't had any issues with the front panel of the case. however, I feel that the front panel could have been designed a little better at the hinges and snaps.

Cons: On the decoder ring page from corsair it states that the h110i fits into this 350D case. It does however I had to bend down one of the drive support rails to make it fit. The cooler does extend into the drive bay rendering it non-usable. Fortunately, there was a second drive bay and I didn't need both.

Other Thoughts: Intel Core i7-6700K CPU
Asus Maximus 8 Gene Motherboard
G. Skill TridentZ 64GB RAM
Corsair H110i GTX Liquid Cooler
Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 SSD Main OS
Sandisk Extreme Pro 960GB SSD Storage
Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti Amp! GPU
Corsair Obsidian MicroATX Case
Corsair RM 850W PSU
LG Blu-Ray Drive
Win10 64-Bit OS
And a couple of 24" Acer Monitors

1 out of 5 eggsWhole experience ruined due to cheap plastic clips

Pros: -Everything was fine, until the very end******* (NO PROS)

Cons: Whole build assembled and had no issues until the very end, I go to put on the front panel and it will not clip in, the mechanism inside the hold the panel on left side completely failed and now the front fits crooked.

Just because this is a less expensive case doesn't mean the end user should get a sub-standard quality product

Corsair dropped the ball, big time on this as 2, cheap plastic clips ruined the entire build, and now I'm torn as to deal with it, or rip apart the entire system. Of course these things never happen before you build.

Last Corsair case I purchase and I'm extremely disappointed

DO NOT BUY!

Other Thoughts: If there was a way to replace the front panel only, I'd gladly do that, but after building everything, RMA on the entire case will just add further trauma to a build that was near flawless!

HUGE LETDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MicroATX Case

Pros: Ample room for cable routing and AIO water coolers, fantastic build quality, absolutely beautiful finish, removable drive cages very refreshing.

Cons: Board mounting could be a few centimeters lower. Struggled to fit the corsair h100i GTX in top configuration with the Maximus VI gene board's CPU power being so high on the PCB.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case!

Pros: Looks great.
Excellent price.
Very easy cable management.
Nice size for a mATX board, large heatsink (Hyper 212 EVO), and long GPUs (Gigabyte 970 G1, 312mm).
SSD cradles and dust filters are a nice touch.
Free additional red LED 120mm included as an add-on for buying the case (just so happened to fit my color scheme).

Cons: If you have an optical drive, it kind of ruins the aesthetics. I actually opted not to put my drive in since I never use it anymore.
Bulky USB 3.0 cables.
Less airflow from the front of the case due to design, easy to work around though.

Other Thoughts: After building a system with the Corsair 250D for a friend, I knew my next case would be from the same line. I can also highly recommend that case if you are looking for mITX and don't nee as much space for a CPU cooler and GPU.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair QC was asleep

Pros: None... Yet....

Cons: I'm sure there are none to be found.... On a properly packaged case.

Other Thoughts: Bear in mind this review is NOT a reflection on newegg.

Wow... Just absolutely wow... When this case arrived i was excited. I mean. Its a corsair case... They make great stuff. I buy alot of their goods and am always pleased.... Not today...

The front of the case was TAPED ON... THREE TIMES... POORLY... But why would that even be necessary you ask? Because both clips that hold the front panel that covers the front fans on were snapped clean off... Normally i would blame shipping and chock it up to an angry dude at ups throwing packages. But not this time... This LEFT the corsair factory busted. Someone KNEW it was broken. The clear plastic used to protect the front was removed and then put on differently so as to hide the damage and keep the panel upright... Then when that didn't work for this mook, he grabbed his trusty roll of tape and slapped 3 pieces of beige painters tape across the front and called it a day. And even THAT was done poorly... the tape didn't even make it edge to edge! I mean. Cmon.. REALLY? Corsair, I implore you, when you inevitably see this review, ask newegg for the case number, figure out which guy was on the line the day... and FIRE HIM. You guys are a great company with great products and somewhere in your facility is a guy who is NOT living up to your usual standards of fine quality computer parts. That being said. This will not keep me from buying corsair products in the future. 99.99% of the time the quality is never less than perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Small Case

Pros: Great looking small case from Corsair. Easy to cable manage. Will fit a Noctua D15 or D15S. Filters for both front and power supply are easy to clean and replace.

Cons: Front panel is easy to get dirty but not that big of a deal. Side window is also easy to scratch and attracts a lot of lint.

Other Thoughts: I removed the rear exhaust fan and moved it to the front as an intake for easy positive case pressure.

Intel i5-6600K
Asus ROG Maximus Gene VIII
Noctua NH-D15S
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb 2666
Seasonic 760XP2

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a case!

Pros: An absolute joy to build in.

- Makes any build look show room ready if you are willing to do some work (route cables) :)

- Fits and insane amount of water cooling for a case this size

- Excellent airflow

- Looks great

- Dust filters are a nice touch

- Provides room for even the longest video cards

Cons: Only two cons and both relate to the front panel cabling.

- Is there really no way to slim down the USB 3.0 cables? Maybe combine the two cables into one early in the cable run and then only have to route one cable to the 3.0 header? Because as it stands with the thickness of the cables and the fact that there are two of them they stick out more than any other cable in my system including my GPU power and 24 pin connector

- Also the front panel audio isn't entirely blacked out. The header end has about a half an inch of visible cable. Doesn't seem like such a big deal but when it's the only rainbow colors in you whole build it stands out.
