5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case!

Pros: Looks great.
Excellent price.
Very easy cable management.
Nice size for a mATX board, large heatsink (Hyper 212 EVO), and long GPUs (Gigabyte 970 G1, 312mm).
SSD cradles and dust filters are a nice touch.
Free additional red LED 120mm included as an add-on for buying the case (just so happened to fit my color scheme).

Cons: If you have an optical drive, it kind of ruins the aesthetics. I actually opted not to put my drive in since I never use it anymore.
Bulky USB 3.0 cables.
Less airflow from the front of the case due to design, easy to work around though.

Other Thoughts: After building a system with the Corsair 250D for a friend, I knew my next case would be from the same line. I can also highly recommend that case if you are looking for mITX and don't nee as much space for a CPU cooler and GPU.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair QC was asleep

Pros: None... Yet....

Cons: I'm sure there are none to be found.... On a properly packaged case.

Other Thoughts: Bear in mind this review is NOT a reflection on newegg.

Wow... Just absolutely wow... When this case arrived i was excited. I mean. Its a corsair case... They make great stuff. I buy alot of their goods and am always pleased.... Not today...

The front of the case was TAPED ON... THREE TIMES... POORLY... But why would that even be necessary you ask? Because both clips that hold the front panel that covers the front fans on were snapped clean off... Normally i would blame shipping and chock it up to an angry dude at ups throwing packages. But not this time... This LEFT the corsair factory busted. Someone KNEW it was broken. The clear plastic used to protect the front was removed and then put on differently so as to hide the damage and keep the panel upright... Then when that didn't work for this mook, he grabbed his trusty roll of tape and slapped 3 pieces of beige painters tape across the front and called it a day. And even THAT was done poorly... the tape didn't even make it edge to edge! I mean. Cmon.. REALLY? Corsair, I implore you, when you inevitably see this review, ask newegg for the case number, figure out which guy was on the line the day... and FIRE HIM. You guys are a great company with great products and somewhere in your facility is a guy who is NOT living up to your usual standards of fine quality computer parts. That being said. This will not keep me from buying corsair products in the future. 99.99% of the time the quality is never less than perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Small Case

Pros: Great looking small case from Corsair. Easy to cable manage. Will fit a Noctua D15 or D15S. Filters for both front and power supply are easy to clean and replace.

Cons: Front panel is easy to get dirty but not that big of a deal. Side window is also easy to scratch and attracts a lot of lint.

Other Thoughts: I removed the rear exhaust fan and moved it to the front as an intake for easy positive case pressure.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a case!

Pros: An absolute joy to build in.

- Makes any build look show room ready if you are willing to do some work (route cables) :)

- Fits and insane amount of water cooling for a case this size

- Excellent airflow

- Looks great

- Dust filters are a nice touch

- Provides room for even the longest video cards

Cons: Only two cons and both relate to the front panel cabling.

- Is there really no way to slim down the USB 3.0 cables? Maybe combine the two cables into one early in the cable run and then only have to route one cable to the 3.0 header? Because as it stands with the thickness of the cables and the fact that there are two of them they stick out more than any other cable in my system including my GPU power and 24 pin connector

- Also the front panel audio isn't entirely blacked out. The header end has about a half an inch of visible cable. Doesn't seem like such a big deal but when it's the only rainbow colors in you whole build it stands out.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy, even with a tight fit.

Pros: Space for cable routing.
Space for large GPUs
Space for a Hyper 212 Evo

Cons: Restricted front airflow because of the front cover.
Hard to mount a 280mm radiator on the top unless you don't need the top 5.25 drive bay or a rear 120mm fan.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case (when I got one that wasn't broken)

Pros: It's got lots of room, easily fits a GTX970. SSD carriage tray is nice. Rubber grommets and good cable management options. Room for liquid cooling radiator (I am using ann H100i). Easily removeable and cleanable dust filters for front fan intake and bottom PSU fan intake.

Cons: The first one I received one of the tabs on the front intake removable plate was broken off. No sign handling damage, probably from the factory that way. I RMAd and the second one I received had an inoperable clasp that holds the front intake removable face on. The plate would not clip into place. RMAd and received a third case. The third case has no issues, at least not yet.

Other Thoughts: The bad cases had no signs of handling damage and were well packaged. I suspect that the faulty clips for the front faceplate came from the factory. For a Corsair product I would think better quality checks would happen. Aside from that it is a great case when you get a good one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little(ish) case!

Pros: Air flow
Well built - exactly as I'd expect from an "Obsidian Series" and from corsair overall
Large, clear window
Looks nice and understated

Cons: Few included fans, but I bought all SP120s/AF120s so doesn't matter to me

Shortage of 3.5" bays could be a con for some

Other Thoughts: This is a nice little case. Sure, you could almost fit an ATX board in most cases this size, but that leaves you with a lot of room to cable manage and make your build look great.

Airflow is solid. Keeps my GPU nice and cool (ASUS GTX 970 OC'd) and since you can install up to 5 fans it's really good overall. I'm using all of the fans I can fit in the case and it's really nice. The Corsair AF120 and SP120 quiet edition fans do an awesome job at moving air through this case at low RPMs. I have most of mine at about 750 RPM now and it's more than enough. Sure, my H100i might help the heat situation, but still.

Overall, it's a great case for even new builders as the small form factor motherboard inside a decently sized (but by no means big. it's comfortably sitting on my desk whereas my old 550D mid tower would have just looked stupid) case allows some room inside to install extremely high end hardware and for the hardware to breathe. Most other mATX cases don't offer this!

5 out of 5 eggsMost beautiful case on the market

Pros: -Small
-Cable management

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great little case that look fantastic. If your looking for Micro ATX this is the one to choose. Plenty of room for big graphic cards and decent cable management. The case is solid and well ventilated.

4 out of 5 eggsElegant

Pros: Understated styling. Comfortably fits full-size GPUs - I've got a GTX 580 in the top slot of my ASUS Maximus IV Gene and there's still about 4 inches from the front edge of the card to the front-mounted fans. Takes the Corsair H100, H105, and H110, though realistically only when fans are mounted on one side of the radiator due to interference with motherboard components.

Cons: If it weren't for certain top-mounted components on most motherboards - like the 8-pin CPU power connector and some VRM heatsinks - you could fit fans on both sides of the H100-series coolers (or anything of that same size). Using a 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm radiator at the top also means the top 5.25" bay won't fit an optical drive though a fan controller or similar panel would probably be fine.

Other Thoughts: I'm running the H100i and have the fans mounted between the top panel and the radiator in a pull configuration out the top and every other fan is pulling cool air in (yes, even the rear fan is pulling air in). It's also possible to mount the H100 on the front panel and use two sets of fans for a push-pull config, but I didn't want warm air coming into the case. If I did that, my GTX 580 would still fit. Any video card longer than that would probably interfere with a front-mounted push-pull config on any 2x 120mm radiator.

I've seen it mentioned somewhere in some professional review of this same case that a 2x 120mm radiator might fit with push-pull fans if mounted offset a little bit by using a 2x 140mm fan hole at one corner and using holes in the grill at the top for other mounting points. Not sure I'm willing to try that, though...

I had to put my optical drive in the 2nd bay (of 2) since the radiator and fans occupy about half the vertical space about 4 inches back from the front panel. Not a big deal for me since I have only one 5.25 inch device for this system. Fans are controlled by the motherboard and I have no need for flashy LCDs or switches.
