Question 1

I want to buy this one, but I have noticed that this case's cable (USB3.0 & LED) is shorter than other. Is it fixed, or still has a problem?

This is the most beautiful case I have ever seen! In answer to your question, I have a asus p8z77 mb and the usb3.0 is located  next to the 24 pin power input, so the cable is long enough, but if your usb 3.0 is located anywhere other than the top right quarter of your board the cable probably wont reach. But! Even if it wont reach buy the case anyway cause it is so clean, the ability to only bring out the cabling that you need and utilize a 280mm and 360mm radiator is awesome in a case the size of a mini fridge.

Question 2

Since no one has asked this may be a silly question, but I am kind of klutzy and concerned. It looks as if there is a greater risk of scratching discs with the optical drive positioned that way. Is that so? How do they insert?

It honestly depends on what type of disk drive your using.  There's slot loading that do not have a tray and tray loading whereby he tray come out and holds the disk.  To be honest with you either should work because the disk is suspended while inside the drive. As long as the case is close to level there shouldn't be an issue.  Think of it this way. Put a disk on your finger. Your Palm is the tray that you set the disk in and never touches it during operation. The only downside with tray loaders is they usually don't have a lip to set the disk in for loading. The Xbox 360 is the perfect example of this. If you have any other questions let me know. Will this case support a 7990 video card?

It should fit MOST 7990's, as long as you don't have a front mounted radiator (there's room up top for radiator mounting), it will support video cards up to 12.5" long with three 120mm x 25mm intake fans mounted, or up to 13.5" long with proper placement & only two 120mm x 25mm intake fans.

Is the window plastic or glass?

The window is plastic, but it must be fairly good plastic because mine hasn't been scratched yet, and I haven't been very nice to it.

Question 5

Are any of the fans LED? I prefer the understated look.

Nope. None of the fans that come with this case have LEDs. It should also be noted that the fans  have a different color scheme than the AF140's sold individually. The blades are grey instead of white. Hope this helps you out.

Can you mount a 240mm radiator to the top?

I have the RX240 by XSPC up top and still have enough room even though it's an extra wide radiator. A push/pull setup would only be possible with a low profile or standard radiator.

It should be noted though that doing 1 240mm up top and 1 360mm in the front may not fit. My EX 240mm radiator up front, with a single set of fans, comes past the end of the top radiator so that third fan may not fit.

The ideal radiator setup appears to be 2 280mm's, one in front and one up top.

Hey Nolan, the fans are 3-pin, non-PWM connectors. In other words, they don't have different speed settings. Corsair and other manufacturers make many different PWM (4-pin) fans that you can purchase.

Question 8

can you fit a CPU Cooler in this case?? I mean I see that you can use large fluid radiators..but will it support a CPU Fan Cooler instead without anything getting in the way?

Yes, I am using this cooler in this case right now "Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan". It works really well and I have had no issues. The nice thing about this case is how you can keep all of the cords out of the way by storing them on the right hand side.

How loud are the fans in this case? If I don't put any fans along the top vent is it okay to cover them to reduce fan noise?

The fans that come with the case are really quiet.  If you cover up the vents, you're sort of limiting what the case was designed for; major air flow.  I have my case sitting, literally, 8 inches from me with 7 fans (5 140mm Cougars on the MB side, 1 Corsair on the drive side, & 1 in the P/S) in it and I can just hear them.  I'm also running with a Corsair (H110) water cooling system and HD7970 video card.  It's on 24/7 running the Folding @ Home and my 8-core CPU never gets above 40C and the GPU stays in the low 50's, but the whole unit is quieter than my floor fan that's across the room.  The sound level is really dependent on you; what are you going to put in it?

Question 10

Is it possible to put fans in the radiator spots? Surely you can't only have 3 fans in this case...? How many is the maximum you can fit in?

The AIR 540 has these options for fans-
Front-2x140 or 3x120
Top-2x140 or 2x120
Rear-1x140 or 1x120

So in total 5-140mm fans or 6-120mm fans.
