3 out of 5 eggsI like the case, but..

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: Easy to work in.
plenty of room in the hidden side to hide a messy cable job.
Looks nice.

Cons: Cheap/thin materials - The window is just clear plastic, so if you keep it on your desk, you're going to keep hearing an annoying plastic creak.
Back is a bit difficult to work with because the cable management tie downs are in some odd places and the 5.25 bays are in the way of some of the holes

Other Thoughts: This had potential, but I think it would have been much better as a double wide instead of just a wide-and-a-half.

I'm hoping i can get a replacement side-panel w/out the window.

4 out of 5 eggsBEASTLY case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: huge
two sections for cooled and non cooled components
space for days

Cons: side panels are flimsy
hdd storage slots require an extra push after the slot itself has already clicked in
not near enough dust filters for the amount of vents

5 out of 5 eggsLots of room

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: I really like this product for hot swapping the hard drives. I put my main SSD in the back side and use the front 3.5 drives to swap with. I put a corsair h110i gtx liquid cool in the front and moved the two fans to the top as an exhaust. The case and drives all remain very cool. My 4GH intel runs at 19c.

Cons: Wish the bottom came with a filter below the hard drives.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice Case! Superbe Boitier

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: - very easy to manage all the hardware and cable
- Airflow is perfect and my 770 SLI stay cool
- perfect if u want to build a custom loop

- installation des pièces
- beaucoup d'espace pour caché les cable
- circulation d'air parfaite pour garder mes 2 gtx 770 à de bonne température
- parfait boitier si vous avez l'intention de vous faire un gros "setup" refroidit au liquide.

Cons: - bigger than i expected but still a good size
- plastic panels are pretty easy to scratch when there is dust on it

- un peu plus gros que ce que je m'attendais mais pas mal acceptable si je le compare a mon ancien HAF 922.
- les panneau son en plastique fin...donc quand il y a de la poussière, il est facile a égratigner

Other Thoughts: if you want a smaller case than the big one you have............think about it...........and if you really want to feel the difference, u should go with the micro-atx version of this case : Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 ( if u dont have 3.5" hard drives)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!!!!

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: its huge, but not to bad, great for wire management!!the thing is just a beast if ya ask me,glad I didn't skip over this for the other choice bc I love this thing, lots of room for water cooling ect...

Cons: none really, this thing is freaking awesome!!!

Other Thoughts: if your going to use the corsair H100i GTX,just be wary bc if you want to run the tubes from the top front to CPU,the silver corsair logo will be upside down which is really tickingme off,im going to figure something out to correct this problem, plus if it the rad is spun the other way the tubes may stop air flow or even rub your back exhaust/intake fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple and functional case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: I personally wasn't too sure about this case and researched on for about two weeks to make sure it was the case for me. I had the Corsair graphite series 600T and I loved that case, but I had it right next to my right leg do to my desk configuration. So when I saw this case it sparked my interested, due to the size and knowing that I could put it on top of my desk was huge selling point for me. I was impressed with all the room it had for the main components which was also nice for future upgrades down the road. Only big concern was the back panel where you put your psu I didn’t the amount of room it had. One big con to the graphite 600T for me at least, so after many YouTube video reviews and forums about this case I bought and never looked backed. Truly impressed with this case I love fans and for me I love hearing noise so I have three AF120 on the front and two AF140 on top and love hearing them run. I know I’m not the normal gamer or computer guy, since loves quite pc’s but not me.
I saw that majority of people didn’t like that there isn’t a dust cover for the psu to me who cases really, since most psu nowadays don’t activate it’s fan unless it needs to and plus can add one by modifying it with one.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would highly recommend this case

5 out of 5 eggsVery roomy, Plenty of space for cables, radiators, fans

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: - about 1/3 of the case is dedicated to letting your cables run amok without hurting the airflow or aesthetics of the main 2/3
- lots of room for radiator hoses, GPUs, fans

Cons: - Heavy like a tank
- It's a minifridge

Other Thoughts: - Know that when you are getting this, you are buying a massive case
- I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't enjoy the tedious work of managing cables or a first time builder, because you can just shove them all into the extra space where the PSU lives and be done with it

4 out of 5 eggsI love this case... For the most part.

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: - My node looks awesome in it
- PLENTY of room for almost everything. (see cons)
- the 3 fans that it comes with are great.

Cons: - Bigger than I thought it was going to be. I didn't expect it to be as tall as it is. Not a problem for me but its about the same height as a normal mid ATX case and twice as wide. Might not be for everyone.
- The drive layout on this thing is odd. There is no place to mount 3.5 HDDs in the rear where I would prefer them but plenty of SSD slots back there.

Other Thoughts: If I were to do a redesign on this case I would definitely put the SSD's in front HDD in the rear. The ability to only use 2 3.5in HDDs put a damper on my ability to run parity. Forced me to use Raid 1 instead of 5 and put my more attractive SSDs in the back.

Even with the cons I still love this thing. It looks amazing and everyone who has seen it has been all like "whoa".

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: Easy to clean. 2 different chambers to keep wires out of the way of the fans. Great design

Cons: place for only 2 HDD

4 out of 5 eggsSolid gaming case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel / Plastic ATX Cube High Airflow Cube Case

Pros: Overall the case looks pretty sharp and has the critical features for a gaming case: high airflow, a lot of build room and easy cable management. It also has high potential for customization, a lot of tool-free screws and a magnetic dust filter for the front intake fans, not necessary but definitely nice things to have. The dual chamber design is pure genius. By putting drive bays and the PSU on one side and the motherboard tray on the other, routing cables is a breeze and there's a ton more room for build expansion and airflow over components. I think it's quite nice aesthetically as well.

Cons: All minor enough "issues" to collectively warrant only removing one egg:
-The windowed side panel feels a bit too flimsy (it's not damaged or warped or anything, just flexible and light enough to question its durability).
-The dust filter looks a little too porous.
-No lighting.

Other Thoughts: Doesn't come with "all the bells and whistles" but is plenty good as-is and is easily customizable. Very pleased with the purchase. The only thing left to see is how it scores on the test of time.
