1 out of 5 eggsThe Quiet Giant

Pros: - So much room to play with
- Lot's of dust filters
- OEM fans are very very quiet, no need to replace
- This thing doesn't even feel like a full tower since it's so light
- Very beautiful case

Cons: The -4Egg Reason
- The left clip for the front panel was defective, therefore when I try to attach the front panel on, it leaves this horrible little gap on the front screaming "LOOK AT THIS LITTLE IMPERFECTION". Maybe I am just OCD, but this, this little gap is taunting me, and turning what should had been a 5 Egg review to a 1 egger.

Other Thoughts: I am currently debating on if I should RMA this case, the only thing that's holding me back is that I have already install all of my other parts into it, and I do not want to wait for weeks just for this minor issue. Please if anybody from Corsair is reading this, please tell me how to fix this front left clip for the panel!

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Still better than most of its competition. Internal layout is great for the most part. Good depth between motherboard and outside panel to shove cables in.

Cons: 1. Fit and finish is not up to Corsair expectations.
2. Flimsy doors that do not lock in place and have to be attached with screws.
3. Flimsy hard drive cages. If you stack them, they look like the need support because they shake.
4. Plasticky front panel not up to the Obsidian line standards.
5. Packaging is not good and the styrofoam was broken in several places. Didn't see any damage to the unit though.
6. Optical Drives to not fit flush to the front panel.

Other Thoughts: I am coming from an 800D, which is admittedly the best case Corsair has ever made. The backplane broke and I could not find a replacement. Making the step back to the 750D is a huge step backwards. I expect something with the Obsidian name to be the best that Corsair makes. Since the 650D hasn't been modernized and is not available in a lot of places, I went with the 750D. Again, the 650D has that great fit and finish. The 750D was designed cutting a lot of corners. I can understand that on one of the other lines of Corsair case, but not on the Obisidian. The case still costs more than its competition, but I would have paid a little more to have a case that didn't feel rickety and had plasticky trim around the front panel.

Please produce a modernized 650D. I would be willing to pay more for it if it means a better quality case.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: There is a ton of room, pretty good airflow, decent price, both HDD cages can be removed.

Cons: In the pictures the case looks great, one of the classiest looking cases in my opinion, but when I took it out of the box I was surprised to find that the case didn't look anywhere close to the high quality appearance in the product images. The case seemed packaged alright, the front and side were covered with plastic, but there was still loose pieces everywhere. The side panels don't fit right at all, they squeak and rattle if there is any sort of vibration, so pretty much whenever my system is on. Before I removed the HDD cages, the clips for the tool-less drawers were tapping against the window. The 5.25 drive bays don't line up right so it was very difficult to put anything in there.

5 out of 5 eggs750D

Pros: - Lots of space

- Downright gorgeous exterior.

- Big window to view the interior (If you like to make things look pretty)

- Easy to work inside of.

- Flexibility with cooling.

- Built in dust filters are effective.

Cons: - Front panel can choke airflow, depends on cooling setup whether or not this is a con.

- No fan controller like with the 780T

Other Thoughts: I don't think I need to say or add much, this case is well known by a large number of people which is why I originally bought it.

I wasn't disappointed. It isn't too flashy, it looks clean and stylish, and in terms of flexibility it has a lot of potential for various types of builds you want to do.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case 1 Fault

Pros: Cable management - Modular Hard Drive Bays

Cons: Front Panel Cables are a bit shorter than I think they should be, almost don't make it to connections on a ATX motherboard.

Other Thoughts: By far the best case I've ever had, cosmetics are clean and very elegant. Cable management is amazing. Thumb screws on just about every piece makes for easy use.

4 out of 5 eggsElegant, Beautiful, and Odd

Pros: I love the looks of the case overall, and the functionality that they built into the case features as well. Between that and the great build quality this case was nearly the perfect one for me.

Cons: But alas there were problems, firstly the SSD mounts are a great functional feature to have. However between that and the way the spacing of the rear plate and the drive cages worked out, they're quite ugly to look at in an assembled system.

Another oversight were the front fans, they had a similar system on the front of this case as to some other Obsidian lines, however other cases in the line usually had vents cut into the sides so that the fans had some place to intake cool air. On the 750D however, no such luck; instead you have to make the choice between any airflow at all from your front fans or the looks of the solid aluminum plate in the front. There are mods and workarounds for this, but as much as I enjoy modding things myself, this isn't something people should have to do to get both the looks and at least some functionality out of the front fans.

Other Thoughts: This case was overall great fun to work with, and I plan on moving my build back to it again someday once I can get the modding work done I need to on it since I love how it looks. The few oversights and weird spacing that they decided to go with (like not being able to fit a 140x3 rad easily) despite the sheer size of the case killed it for me ultimately.

This case is almost amazing, without going overboard in size or price. But it does have some flaws, that for my rig at least put it in second place.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair 750D

Pros: I really love this case. It's honestly one of the best I've seen on the market. I'd say the price is totally worth it because the case provides great cable management, good amount of space, good airflow, good amount of HDD slots and SSD slots. It also gives you many options for water cooling and extra fans. It also looks pretty nice. It has a nice design to it. There's nothing that I'd change about this case.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Buy this case if this is your first build. It's better than getting the wrong one and later upgrading to a nicer one with good cable management. I had to learn that the hard way.
