3 out of 5 eggsIts ok

Pros: - Great spacing up top to install AIO Water coolers 240mm and above.
- The window on the side is very clear. So clear that at night you wouldn't think there was any!
- Comes pre-pegged for large atx boards.
- Lots of spaces to run cables keeping it clean looking inside.
- Filters easy to access + bonus of having power supply filter.
- Top of the case mesh is actually removable and held in by magnets.
- Dedicated SSD drive holders along the back plane is a nice touch.

Cons: Now the nit picking begins..

- Purchased case 10/9 for $159... few days later its $139 with a rebate to 119 !@)#(! Typical.. very typical.

- The front of the case actually restricts airflow that could be pulled into the case by the front fans. Taking the front out exposing the filter provides a cooler inside and helps with cooling down the cpu / AIO rads mounted up top.

- The hard drive bays are ok but a pain to run wires to if using the inner most 3 bays where they sit by default.

- The three 140mm case fans seem to be pretty slow and squeak by at a max of 1100 rpms. This is not great airflow when you have GTX 980 and two 240mm fans up top. I expected better. With the front cover on you will most likely need better CFM with aftermarket fans to pull in air through the tiny slits on the left and right sides.

Other Thoughts: It's an OK case and the only thing that peaked my interest to purchase was the flexibility of mounting AIO Water cooling / custom loops. It's obvious on the price drop as I wouldn't purchase another one of these for the 159.00 price tag. However it does peak my interest in other corsair products if they continue to refine and ensure a case designed for cooling has proper fans to begin with.

5 out of 5 eggsLots of room, does it all

Pros: This case has lots of space, I was originally going to use it with a EATX motherboard, but ended up using a ATX instead, but either way I imagine you'd have PLENTY of space. Very accommodating for very huge heatsinks, video cards, and power supplies as well. I have a GTX780, a Noctua DH-14, and an AX1500i power supply and they all go in very easily.

Very easy to put in drives, pretty much anything you'd want to put in whether it's a SSD or ODD or HDD snaps in to a mounting and doesn't need screws unless you want them.

Very nice sleek look. Love the aluminum. The removeable dust mesh on the top, front and under the power supply are awesome, and remind me of a lint tray in a dryer.

Surprisingly light for a full tower as well, doesn't seem like it, but it is! Even lighter than my old midtower.

Cons: No side mounted fans or ventilation if you're into that

The plastic clasp on the front panel snapped off when I tried to open it on its side the first day. Kinda disappointing quality for a part that is supposed to get a lot of wear, but not enough to take an egg off since it was easily fixed with some superglue.

ODDs look a little weird size wise from the outside, but not that bad. it would be nice if the front panels sealed a little tighter around each other and the ODDs as well.

I wish there was a dust mesh under the HDD enclosures for if you decide to mount the bottom fans and move the HDD enclosures, but I suppose you could make one yourself easily enough.

Other Thoughts: I wish the manual gave a bit more instruction on different case configurations, I ended up putting both bottom fans in and removing one of the HDD enclosures while mounting the other enclosure off the ODD bays. I don't know if you're supposed to do that, but the trays slid together and you could secure it with an additional screw, so it seemed sturdy enough for the one HDD I'm using.

I was a little worried about getting this case at first since I intended it to be for air cooling instead of liquid cooling, which I know corsair cases are known for, but it seems to be really well suited for either.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!!!

Pros: This case has support for everything without being ridiculously over the top. Extreme functionality without a lot of frills that add to cost. Plenty of room to route cables and more than enough room for any graphics card setup or cpu heatsink. The case come with 8 spaces for fans, which also translates into multiple ways to custom water cool. Solid construction, smart design for SSD's and modular hard drive cages. If your looking for a full-tower with plenty of room for expansion and future upgrades, this case will get the job done.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: I decided to go with this case because it has all the expansion room I will ever need for whatever I decide to do in the future. I know the case comes with a $140 to $160 price tag, but the reality is a case is the only future-proof computer part you can buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: Great case with plenty of room for a custom loop. Surprisingly good air flow considering the front panel is solid. Plenty of room on the backside for cable management. Side panel is practically a window!

Cons: Side panel is a little flimsy. Not that it's falling apart but rather it's thin and wobbles a bit when your holding it. I was concerned that it would rattle when attached but it never has. Clips on the removable HDD racks are delicate. Nothing worth knocking an egg off.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very please with this case. I have a feeling I will be using it for years to come.

3 out of 5 eggsColossus to Place Parts Into

Pros: Case has space to place anything into you want it. The size makes the build quite easy with few places that feel like a tight spot.
All parts of the case are sturdy and made with quality.
Built in fans move plenty of air quietly.
Air filters over air intakes on the case are a nice touch. This prevents dust making it into the large internal space. Cleaning the inside of the case is far less of an occurance than what I have had with other computers.
Corsair H100i cooling kit mounts flawlessly to the top of the case.

Cons: CD-ROM drives look odd from the front becuase they are not as wide as the case. This leaves poor looking black plastic gaps next to the drives that do not match the finish of most of the front of the case.
Case do to its size causes problems with cable management. Its not that there isn't a place to put cables, it just that you need long cables to connect everything. You need to be prepared to deal with the problems caused by this extra cable routing.
If you mount one of your 2.5 hard drives behind the 3.5 hard drives, the flat serial ATA cables struggle to bend in a way the makes the cabling clean. Right angled SATA connecters are a must. All of the drive bays are removable and it would be suggested to remove any unused mounts to make room. If you are using a large amount of the internal hard drive bays, cabling will be tight.

Other Thoughts: This case is huge. If you buy this thinking otherwise, you will be disappointed.
Think about the length of any cable you will be using to make sure it is long enough.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Case

Pros: Very sturdy build, great cord cutouts, putting in harddrives/optical drives are a breeze.

Cons: Only comes with 3 fans stock (has a maximum of 8 that can be used).
If you get bigger fans for the bottom area of the case then you cannot use the harddrive trays that are included in the case. I ended up only being able to use one of the fans that I bought for that area.

5 out of 5 eggsComing from antec 1200

Pros: Looks great. only case i could find with a full window that still looked simple, elegant and not like a toy. build quality is there. Tones of room. the 140mm fans move more air and are quieter. all in all a very quiet case. Front panel can obstruct airflow, but dampens sound. you could always just open it if temp was ever an issue. Magnetic dust filter and extra clearance around cpu is nice. mounting hdds/sdds is clever, and nicely tucked away. dust filters on front and bottom of case. Overall temps went down significantly coming from an antec 1200. The tech in these cases has gotten so much better.

Cons: Dust filter underneath the power supply. Not really a con, but i would have liked to see that same filter on the bottom towards the front of the case, for more flexibility or someone who needed a radiator down there for gpus. If you were water cooling your gpu i think you would get a different case, cause there is no filter there, kind of a shame. . My psu doesnt draw air that way. Even entertained the idea of putting my psu in front, and using a bottom fan to get more airflow to the gpu if it needed it. lots of room and options for customization and modding.

Other Thoughts: All in all very solid case, im happy. Its wider than my old ATX full tower, and utilizes its space much better. The features are there, and its not too expensive.. What sold me the most was the look. Its looks really good, and is a nice conversation piece.

If your looking for a full tower w/o gpu water cooling i would really consider it.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it so I got one for me

Pros: The space, the customizable 3.5 hard drive bays. Allowing for expansing.

Everything is the right distance for all the headers.
Pairs perfectly with the Asus z97 motherboard.

Cons: Needs hot swap bays in this price range for this case. I'd settle for two!!!

Other Thoughts: I wanted to go with the corsair 900d, I couldn't think of a reason as to why in my current situation I would need up to 15 hard drives with three of them hot swapable

The hot swaps yes. As a Comptuer repair and system builder.. Hot swaps are nice. So I'm going to look into docking stations instead.

Other than that. Corsair is the only chassis I trust for my builds.

This is my Third build with a Corsair Chassis. The other two were another 750d and the Air 540. Love them both equally.
