5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE this case!

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: -spacious
-super quiet
-excellent airflow
-partitioned case
-stacks nicely

Cons: -air filter on the front is a pain to clean
-open

Other Thoughts: Some people are complaining that the window pane feels cheap, but I want to know what exactly are you expecting? It's a LARGE open area and the flexible plastic means it's less likely to crack or shatter.

This isn't a case for constant traveling. It's almost the width of two mid towers side-by-side and the partitioning for the motherboard and devices works wonderfully. Lots of space for even the fattest CPU cooler on the motherboard side, and lots of space for PSUs, cable management, HDs, and two 5.25" bays for front panel devices.

I would buy these again without hesitation. The multiple large fans and spacious open area keeps it cool and very quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsbest case I've owned thus far..

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: I looked at many cases when I was building yet another pc. I've owned Antec, Lian Li, and many other top brand name cases over the years and I can honestly say that this case (for the money) is hands down the best yet. Sure, you could spend North of 500 bucks on a Case Labs case but if you're like me and not into a 500 case but still want a beautiful, fully functional, plenty of space, case, this is it. 3 color combos to choose from and every part can be replaced if need be. This thing has so much room and air flow its fantastic to say the least. With 2 spots for 240mm radiators and 6 spots for fans, it definitely stays cool. I like the separate chamber for the PSU and optical drives. Plus all the wiring stays hidden in the second chamber letting the motherboard and video card(s) get plenty of air. And it just makes for a very neat setup. I am a fanatic when it comes to my case and it's wiring and this thing has yet to disappoint. It's made well for the money and has all the amenities of a case costing twice as much. And the one thing I have taken advantage of is the ability to order and use a second plexiglass side panel on the PSU side of the case. Both sides are interchangeable. I purchased the white version and love it. It looks really cool. I've added a strip of LED's inside to show off my gear. All in all, if you want a case with huge compartments and excellent built quality then look no further. I got mine on sale for 139.00 and couldn't be happier. You don't realize the size of this thing until you get it out of the box. The cube shape is unlike anything else on the market. It makes a statement for sure. So if you're looking for the perfect case for your next build, don't overlook this one. It's definitely worth the money.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: Huge case, Plenty of room to work with. I got this case cause i switched to water cooling and bought a single 120mm radiator and a dual 120mm radiator and they could not fit in my old case. This one they had just enough room for them to fit in and everything is nicely laid out. I love how the power supply drawls air form the side and out the back and does not affect the heat of ht case hardly at all. More so love that all the components are on the right wit a divider on the motherboard on the left side. This is extremely nice so only things reviving the cool air are items that need it and cables and HDD's (or SDD's in my case) don't block and prevent air flow. Stock fans on the case are super quite and nice air put. Case runs ALOT cooler now and water cooling works perfectly fine.

Cons: Bottom on motherboard side has no protective cover. This to me is not a huge con but others might not desire this. Its wider than a standard case but i knew that before buying, others might have a difficult time finding a place to put it. Water cooling drive bay has a VERY slight angle, not certain why but the CD drive tray made it difficult to fit in but i was able to get it in after some time.

Other Thoughts: This is a very water cooling friendly case.

4 out of 5 eggsawesome case,bad switch

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: great case, had water cool my 8 core cpu.ran 8 degrees at idle hotter than 6 core.mounted 6 fans in front .corsair purple led.they are too dim ,would not recommend.big window ,but no purple light glowing.have to buy cathode lighting.

Cons: On /off switch lights up but does not work, have to remove side panel, push bios button on mobo, goes to bios, exit bios, then boots.Kinda of like jump-starting car.Contacted newegg, don't know if i get new switch or remove everything from case to RMAA also minor inconvenience, I had push-pull on upper rad and mobo would not fit,had to remove lower fans .the ones with leds, sucks. Was happy, though except for switch problem.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mid tower case for the money

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: - Large amount of space
- Very high airflow
- No sharp edges
- Rubber cabling grommets for wire runs
- Clean looks, no matter what color
- Extremely quiet

Cons: The case is very roomy; however, if you're looking to run more than two graphics cards, go full tower.

Other Thoughts: This case is an excellent value, especially when on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsWhite Cube of Pimpness.

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: Huge. Lots of space for everything. If size is an issue, this is not for you. Great design, I like how the hard-drives are arranged. Very easy to work inside.

Cons: Only space for two 3.5" Drive Bays :( Wouldn't be an issue for me if SSD's were cheaper and larger.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and beautiful

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: Fans are really quiet, in fact I can't even hear its on but I see it is because of the LEDs. In fact, the computer doesn't make any noise until the HDD fires up. Lots of room to put extra graphics cards and whatever crazy cooling system you have in mind. Cable management is a breeze.

Cons: The SSD cage that it comes with is a little weird to me. But you have slots for 5 SSD's which is nice, I guess. The 3.5" slots are hot swap and there are only two of them. So if you have more than two 3.5" HDD's, you are out of luck.

Other Thoughts: This case is BIG. But if you have the room to spare, that's usually a good thing because you get better cooling action and you can fit more stuff inside. Since all the ugly stuff like PSU's and cable chaos is tucked away in a separate chamber, you really get a nice view of your motherboard and graphics cards etc. through the side window.

4 out of 5 eggsReally Ties the Room Together

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: Aesthetically I really like this case. Of course I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't. After recieving it, I'm glad I got it- the case really ties the room together.
The separation of the SSDs, PSU, and Optical drives from the Motherboard, ect is a really neat design. Giving you easy access to whichever side you need to work on. Thought there are some potential cons with this (see below).
Very sturdy, clean, easy to assemble.

Cons: -The window feels like cheap plastic and I'm not sure how durable it will prove to be.
-The two separate sides lends itself to cable management....but depending on the orientation of your motherboard you may have your Pwr cables and data cables stretching across each other a bit. Still plenty of room, but if you wanted a clean look through that window, maybe it won't be as imagined*
-Its a Mid Tower...but big because it's wide. I don't mind at all and think it's great- however if someone is looking to conserve space maybe it's not for them. I downgraded from a full tower and I'm essentially takinig up the same amount of room (just horizontally now instead of vertically)

Other Thoughts: -The cable management/look could all depend on your PSU, Motherboard, cable lengths ect. I just found mine looks a little jumbled.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011048-WW) Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Cube Computer Case

Pros: -A little short for ATX case
-A lot of space, fits PHTC14PE with hyperx beast
-for "lazy" people who don't want cable management. LOL
-Direct Airflow.(this is a big one)
-VERY BIG window to show off your components
- Can accomodate 3-4 SLI/xfire DEPENDING on mobo
-AF140 fans included (not loud in full speed and pushes air, CFM not static pressure)

Cons: -Fan filter(s) **see other thoughts
-a little fat/wide but thats expected so no big deal

Other Thoughts: I purchased the Demciflex filter set for this BUT if you live in AZ or any place that gets really hot in summer, i wouldn't suggest placing all of them. I would deal with the dust that suffucating the case and keeping the hot air in the case. I replaced all fans with AF140 LED for a total of 5 installed[3 exhaust(1 reasr, 2 top) and 2 front intake]. Even with that setup, the demciflex wouldnt let the top fans blow air. the rear fan ended up being the only exhaust. I'd rather clean it once a week or ghetto mod the silverstone 140 filter(NOY ULTRA FINE) and place them on top, bottom of HDD trays and 1 directly on the PSU. Overall, very nice case and a lot of companies are jumping in the "double wide" cases, just see computex 2014.

Pros: Excellent Cable management.
AirFlow

Cons: On Both hard drive cages as in the 3.5 and one of the 2.5 enclosures arrive broken. Maybe due to ups.
The Power Switch plastic that surrounds the connector was not on the wire and i have checked the box.
