5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Adequate Room inside for oversized motherboards and video cards
Accommodates my liquid cooler nicely
Durable

Cons: Not a major con but would have preferred a dust cover or flip top lid for the USB ports I live in Texas it's a big deal

5 out of 5 eggsspacious

Pros: Great looking tower, lots of space. easy to fit in corsair H110i and XFX r295x2 radiators and still have some room left. dust filter for the psu is nice, but i have mine sitting atop of my desk. cable management is a breeze.

Cons: slight gap on the side door panels.

Other Thoughts: teh USB front panel is nice but had to disable it due to my motherboard not having enough usb connections.

4 out of 5 eggsSpacious!

Pros: Absolutely spacious
Enough room for any parts you may deem fit for installation, including extended length motherboards and PCIe cards.
7 x 3.5in (can be removed/rotated)
3 x 5.25in (external)
4 x 2.5in (side mount, plastic cradled)
Sturdy construction, excellent ventilation.
Bottom mount PSU, enough room for extended PSU (usually 1000+ watt). PSU section also has bottom ventilation for PSU intake/exhaust fans.
Excellent Cable Management
Included fans (140mm) provide moderate airflow, and are nearly silent.
Plenty of clearance for right-angled SATA connectors on motherboards.
USB 2.0 and 3.0 Front Panel with Audio Header placement is EXCELLENT.

Cons: Side doors leave a slight gap when sealed.
Door locking mechanism must be snapped in place when closed.
To remove the side doors during installation, screws from each hinged bracket must be removed. The hinges are not as sturdy as I’d expect.
Cable length for included fans are a bit short; they’re also 3pin instead of 4pin, meaning, you will not have much control over fan speed.
Grommets for 280mm radiators need to be adjusted slightly (or removed if preferred)
Hard drive cages were tedious to remove/adjust. Included instructions were not entirely accurate. For my installation, I stacked them to improve cable management.
Top plate does not seal completely, although does serve as a dust cover if necessary.
Dust filters snap into place and seem thin.

Other Thoughts: Plastic finishing does not match with construction of chassis.
Case made the installation of Corsair’s H110i easy, compared to installing it in other cases. With the fans mounted, I still had enough room to seat in the motherboard effortlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsA big, big case

Pros: This thing is huge! However big you think it is or it looks in photos, it’s bigger! They could rent this out as an apartment in New York. Honestly though, this is one huge case. When you take it out of the box you realize it’s way too big to fit anywhere and your components are going to get lost inside. Do yourself a favor and really check the dimensions before you buy. I thought I knew what size it was going to be and I was surprised. It’s still a killer case for a good price but it’s massive.
Like all Corsair cases the finish is immaculate and there are no rough edges. The case comes swathed in a nice quality black cloth bag for protection and my case arrived unscathed. The black steel matches the black plastic and the black mesh and the removable plastic top panel. The inside is the same black and the wires from the USB ports and for the front panel switches are black as well. Now personally I would have rather had white but I didn’t want to spend extra for the 760 so I’m just going to have to live with all that black.
There are three 140mm fans and the front two glow red. They’re not the good fans that Corsair sells but they’re quiet even if they don’t move much air. There’s no fan controller on the 730 but all have 3 pin motherboard conns. The red glow doesn’t really bother me and it is somewhat subdued. Airflow is decent and if you have a motherboard that can exert fine grain control over fan speed then you won’t be terribly disappointed. Just don’t expect a wind tunnel.
Take the plastic cover off the top and there’s room to play football or put a bunch of fans. I was so impressed I bought a Corsair H110 just to see if it would fit. According to what I’ve read on the Internet it will. One small problem is the ventilated top panel has no dust filters so you’ll have to set your cooler to exhaust air from the inside but that’s the best way to do it anyway.
I love the doors because they truly are on hinges and I say this after receiving dozens of cases with “hinged’ doors that really weren’t. No fancy glass side for the 730 but the door does have 2 vented areas where you can fit a 120mm fan if you need to. No dust filters though so you’re on your own if you want the fans to blow inward. The latches are simple pull handles that work effortlessly and make you wonder why so many so called “enthusiast” cases don’t work the same way.
Inside is so big I expected an echo. There are 2 removable cages that hold 3 hard drives and both are removable and stackable. They use the standard Corsair mounting sleds and they are neither good nor bad. They are just… there. Nobody needs that many 3.5 hard drives any longer so one cage is plenty. There are 4 SSD mounting sleds that snap into the back of the chassis behind the right hand door but I’ll talk about them in the cons section. As mounted from the manufacturer, the 2 hard drive cages don’t black one of the front fans so you have plenty of airflow.
I like the way the 5

Cons: I personally think the 4 SSD sleds are needlessly fiddly. They do snap out and the drives fit easily but I had to figure out which way to put them and fiddle with the power cables. Plus you almost need to run another SATA power cable to reach the upper ones which means you need three if you have an optical drive in the upper external bay and a hard drive in the lower. It’s not a deal breaker or even a big deal but it is slightly irritating.
I love the doors but I will admit if you lift them off the hinges they are the devil to get back on. This is both frustrating and exacting and is best done in a Zen state of mind. Once again not a bid deal but something worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts: I’m a bit of cheapskate and I’m not someone that needs his hardware on display so the Corsair 730 was an easy choice for me. With the rebate it’s just about half the price of the 760 and I can live with the changes and deletions. It’s bigger then I bargained for but that’s my own fault and I’m learning to live with it and love it. It’s a precision piece of equipment that I can heartily recommend to anybody that needs a full sized computer case or a hanger for their blimp.

US brand.

Cons: Fans are not good enough, temperature is as high as mid tower. Maybe need side fan.

Other Thoughts: I choose full tower cuz i used mid tower before, the temperature is very high, but after i used this full tower the temperature didn't change much.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: It has more than enough space for the components I chose to put in it:

- i7 4790K
- ASUS Maximus VII Hero
- 4x4GB 2133MHz C9 GSkill Sniper
- Corsair AX1200i
- Samsung 840 EVO 1TB
- EVGA GTX 780 6GB ACX
- Corsair H110
All stock, no overclocking except the XMP on the RAM.

I was able to route my cables out of the way, behind the motherboard without much stress or planning. I also chose to leave the top of the case covered and mount the H110 radiator on the front intake behind the front dust filter as follows (push pull, no extra fans needed):

CASE INTERIOR | H110 FANS | H110 RADIATOR | CASE METAL FRAME | CASE INTAKE FANS | DUST FILTER | EXTERIOR

There was just barely enough length in the tubing for the H110 to span the gap for front mounting, running over the bottom edge of the top of my RAM (if that makes sense). Despite this the case worked out flawlessly.

In terms of cooling performance, I ran Unigine Heaven and Prime95 torture tests on my graphics card and cpu respectively. Peak temperatures that I obtained during 60+ minutes of testing per component were well within tolerances. I have ample temperature headroom with this case's airflow to overclock aggressively in the future.

Dust filters on every major intake/opening is a huge plus living in an apartment with carpet.

The hinged doors open and close smoothly. They are also easily detached and replaced as needed; no mechanical deformities or failures were detected in any of the moving components of the case: doors, filters, drive bay tool-less locks, etc.

I am also sure that this case can handle at least dual graphics cards if not more without heat or space issues.

Lastly, it is worth noting that I removed both of the hard drive cages in order to completely clear the front-bottom of the case. This allowed the air flow that made it through the radiator unimpeded access to the rest of the case. This is a boon to someone in my situation, using a graphics card that does not exhaust heat out of the back of the case.

Cons: TRUE CONS:
Manufacturer's suggested retail price might be objectionable to some people. I personally did not mind paying what I did for this case. However, I am sure that there are plenty of folks that will justifiably point out that the materials and design for this case do not justify the price that Corsair is asking. I tend to agree that Corsair is usually more expensive when compared to their competition, but brand recognition and quality demand a premium I suppose.

PSEUDO CONS:
Issues I had with dropping and almost losing screws inside various parts of the case are technically my fault, but they are worth mentioning here. I ran into this issue when mounting the front radiator. I dropped screws when trying to thread them into the frame and radiator. The case was laying on its side (the motherboard's cpu socket facing the ceiling). Unfortunately there is a gap between the case's plastic front and the case's metal frame that screws can fall into while the dust filter is off. You can't access this gap from the case interior without removing the entire plastic front. I chose not to do this in favor of tilting the case around for the screw+washer to fall into view and using a paper clip (like a hook) to fish them out. Again, technically this is not the case's fault... just my clumsiness and big hands. I did not deduct any eggs for this.

Some online reviews have complained about the top not using a dust filter when uncovered. Since this does not apply to my build (no top mounted radiator), I don't count that as a true con. I will say that this depends on your design approach to your build. If you front mount your radiator like I did, then you can leave the top covered all the time (blocking dust even better than a filter). Leaving the top covered has a minimal impact on air flow, so no worries there.

Other Thoughts: This review has a significant mixture of objective and subjective analysis, so take the bits that were more about my opinion with a grain of salt. All I can say is that you must weigh the cost to benefit ratio for this case for yourself. This is why I tried to describe what I built in this case and how I built it, hoping that people who plan a similar build will gain some insight. I recommend this case to anyone (even novice builders) who want to guarantee a smooth build experience.

5 out of 5 eggsThe BFC or half of a Borg Cube – Take your pick

Pros: -CORSAIR QUALITY = The “little things” that make the experience more rich & enjoyable:
-Spring-loaded front grill
-Magnetic top grill cover
-Hinged (but also removable) doors, giving it the feel of a fine electronic component
-Thicker, high quality packing foam = less chance of a damaged case
-This monster case was packaged with a giant fabric bag, like they do with their PSUs
-Ridiculous amount of drive mounting options
-Nice finish (not quite matte, but not glossy either) which is easier to match an optical drive to.
-Previous good experience with Corsair’s products, as well as their support (in the rare times when it is needed)
-Tool-less, other than the motherboard mounting screws. For that, it does have a post for the screw hole in the middle of the motherboard, which is nice to hold the board in position until you get a few of screws in place.
-Good ratio of steel to plastic (i.e. not putting plastic where steel would work better and vice-versa)

Cons: Minor Con: No 3.5” front drive bay for an internal card reader. Sure, you can get a 5.25” bay adapter for that, but finding an adapter and a reader to closely match the case can be a challenge. Is the demand for internal card readers going away or are gamers just not wanting those?

Other Thoughts: I was first introduced to the BFG back in late 90’s when Doom II first hit the scene… I have now been introduced to the BFC ;) If you are looking for a case to do a quad SLI setup with water cooling, a 6 HDD RAID array and a 4 SSD RAID array, you are completely covered with this case. All of that together seems pretty unlikely, but I suppose it is always good to have the option. I put together an MSI/Corsair “mid-range” gaming setup in mine: MSI motherboard & GPU, Corsair H55 water cooler & HX750 PSU. The lower-depth ATX motherboard with single GPU card & top-mounted water cooler that I currently have in this case sure look small in there. I could lease out space for storage ;) Of course, when you have a case this big (even if you aren’t going to fill it up with components) the benefit is, of course, serious airflow. This case has that in spades. It has many of things you will find in a modern gaming case: monstrosity (as mentioned), flashy LED fans (red, in this case) and a hi-tech/space/sci-fi theme in its general appearance. As mentioned in the title, put two of these next to each other and you may have a life-sized version of the Borg Cube ;) The 3 included fans are quiet and the loudest thing in this case is the GPU, when the fans ramp up during heavy usage. Overall, it is a really nice case, but if you are going to take it to a LAN Party, you may want to use a hand truck. Overall, I give it 5 eggs for the quality to value ratio. A few years ago, I paid quite a bit more for Lian-Li case and it is a nice, but not quite this nice.
