5 out of 5 eggsVery good PC case for starters.

Pros: It's a very nice case with all the room you need for whatever comes your way. I like the intake has a filter in the front so I don't have to worry much about dust getting in and keeps the cleaning to a low need.

Cons: Not really any notable cons, other than if you want to put a lot of enclosed water coolers in it, it would not advisable. On a personally note however, I was offered a rebate for my purchase and I didn't get it. I understand why, but it's a pain that I make the effort for it. Regardless, I'm very happy with it, just rebate was the only letdown.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent case

Pros: This case is encloses the rest of my music studio desktop set up. For the most part it does exactly what its supposed to do!

Nice looking (of course)
No fitment issues (there is a but)
Love the fan locations
The trays make for easy installation of drives...quite painless actully
Oh and it looks nice haha...red fans make this thing look beastly!

Cons: Well, everything does fit, but its pretty darn snug! I wish i had a tad more room behind the motherboard for routing cables.
The ports for routing cables for my set up wasn't ideal, but i made it all work.
This case is NOT liquid cooling friendly lol. I mean it's tight as hell. Especially if you have some tall ram sticks. You only have like one option on where to mount your radiator.

Other Thoughts: This case certainly does it's job, and with some thinking before you put it all together, you should be fine making it all fit nicely. I will say tall ram sticks are a big problem for me. (that's probably more on me though)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy and looks good. Easy to work in. Good case for the price.

Cons: Space.

Other Thoughts: Purchased a Deepcool Lucifer V2. Cooler to big, could not put the side panel on. Replaced it with a deepcool Captain 120 AIO liquid cooler. It barely fit! but was able to get it in Overall I am happy with this purchase..

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Inexpensive, compatible with most motherboards, fits my enormous graphics card (R9 290). Looks pretty spiffy if you ask me.

Cons: Awful cable management. I could hardly close the case with all the hardware installed. Also, insufficient cooling, with only one case fan. Additionally, the mobo standoffs are not tight from factory, and will come out when removing motherboard screws if not tightened down beforehand. Back cover of case was a little bit off square, with some trimming required for IO ports and expansion card to fit well.

Other Thoughts: Overall a decent case for the money, but was such a pain in the rear to setup that I wish I spent just a little more

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Nice

Pros: It looks really nice with the red theme, everything fit with a ASUS z97-A and even a tall hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler. Temps are Below 30c with a i5 4690k

Cons: Only comes with one fan so if you don't have any other fans expect to pay another 10-20 for nice ones. I'm really not a fan of the cable management mainly with the Hard drives, there was just enough room to accomplish what I needed with 2 Sata hard drives but it wouldn't of worked with another. I wont dock eggs because I made it work but you'll have to be crafty.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Low price.
Plenty of room. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo fits just fine.
Red LED case fan.
Plenty of HDD bays.

Cons: Only one case fan but for the price not a big deal.

Nothing else.

Other Thoughts: I wish there were more than one case fan but for the price I can't complain to much. FYI, the red LED fan does not provide enough light to illuminate the inside of case. I had to buy another LED to light it up so the neat wire job can be seen through the window. :)

3 out of 5 eggsNice to look at, not nice to build.

Pros: Looks sweet with the red LEDs. Solid air flow.

Cons: Mounting points for the motherboard were off enough to make installation difficult. Case was slightly too thin for my after market heat sink. Weird screws used for mounting the front fans.

Other Thoughts: It's nice, and I eventually got my PC put together. I figured I'd get a case I liked because it would be one of the last things I upgrade down the road, but I think when I eventually upgrade my system I'm going to just start from scratch again. The case was way too much work in terms of trying to get everything mounted properly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the Price

Pros: This case is a great value for all it has. Tool-less design makes it simple to work with. Plenty of space for longer video cards was a definite plus and the 3.0 USB port on the front is a great too. The clear side window is nice and not generally found on cases that are so inexpensive,. I found it easy to work with overall. If you are on a budget this may be the one for you. It came with 1 red fan and I added 2 more as well as a Corsair Hydro Series H60 High Liquid/Water CPU Cooler without any issues.

Cons: Not much room at the top, made cable management a bit of an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGo corsair

Pros: Case is cheap, has excellent ventilation, no mid bracket HD bracket can fit a wide variety of GPU cards, comes with a sleek side window, and comes with a tool less design.

Cons: kind of hard to be cable management. the top of the case didn't give much room for a vertical tower cpu cooler. but I guess a watercooler would be more better choice for a CPU cooler.

Other Thoughts: excellent case for the price, Mid tower, showcase window, excellent room for a big GPU, and great ventilation

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the price

Pros: -Compact
-Full size window
-Bump on left side panel for extra cable management space
-Bump on right side panel for larger air coolers
-USB 3.0 port on front
-Fine mesh dust filter on front
-Top dual 120mm fan has H100/H100i support providing motherboard and RAM height does not exceed I/O shield height
-Nice red bar on top
-Case is painted then assembled, rare in cheaper cases, making it more mod-friendly than other cases
-Cable holes for both ATX and Micro ATX motherboards
-Inexpensive

Cons: -Only one included fan
-Somewhat ugly and garish bezel
-A bit on the flimsy side
-No provision for front mounted 240mm radiator whilst keeping 3.5" disk cage unlike Spec-02/03
-No removable top panel like Spec-02/03
-No cable grommets on cable management holes
-Some more flexible cases for nearly the same price.

Other Thoughts: I have used this as well as the Spec-03, and there are subtle differences. The bump on both side panels is not as pronounced giving it a slightly more refined and conservative appearance. The front bezel is also not as overdone stylistically as the Spec-02/03 and is a bit flatter, so it doesn't look as much like Bane from Batman. It also has a built-in fine dust filter. There is space in front and on top for dual 120mm fans, and space in front for dual 140mm fans if needed for better cooling. Keep in mind, that the front does NOT support 280mm radiators like the Corsair H110 or NZXT Kraken X61, only fans. Corsair does not indicate H100/H110 support anyway.

For water cooling, the top can support an H100/H100i or any other 240mm based radiator as long as you are using low profile memory and don't have any components that exceed the height of the I/O shield as the fans are off-set towards the left to maximize motherboard clearance in this fairly narrow case. Unlike the Spec-02/03 the top fans do not have a dust filter, but they would usually be used for exhaust anyway. My one pet peeve with this case is that if you want to fit a front radiator like an H100 or H100i you have to remove the 4x3.5" bottom drive cage. Unlike the Spec-02/03 it doesn't allow you to place a radiator between the disk cage and case frame and put fans in the bezel. You can put fans in the bezel but there is only 10mm of space between the disk cage and case frame. The Spec-02 and 03 support an H100 in the front by having you remove the disk cage, install the rad/fans and then replace the disk cage because there is 30mm of space between the disk cage and front of the frame.

I do like the fact that the case is painted and then assembled. A lot of cases these days are assembled, then painted so if you want to remove a component, like I did with the optical disk bays, you are left with ugly, unpainted steel. With the Spec-01 I removed the optical bay by drilling out rivets, but was pleasantly surprised by a fully painted front metal panel in the chassis. Well done! I plan on putting a 360mm radiator in the front and a 240mm radiator on top for a compact and powerful gaming system. Unfortunately I have to find a way to double sided tape my SSDs somewhere, or find an alternative disk cage assembly to install on the bottom further from the front panel to have storage. The 4x3.5" cage is too tall to allow me dual graphics cards if I place it set back on the floor, so a dual 3.5" like the Obsidian 350D would have been better. The metal is thin in some places, but the case is fairly rigid for such a light box. In this price range, I'd probably recommend the Silverstone PS11, NZXT S340 (if you don't need optical bays), or Fractal Design Core 2300/2500. This is still a good case, just not up there with the best. For those interested in a more reserved version, the upcoming Carbide 100R is the exact same chassis with nicer front bezel like the Carbide 200r.
