3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This case is big an easy to work in.
The case feels like it could probably resist a minor fall.
This case looks very nice.
Filters filters filters, filters everywhere.
Three included fans.
Case came with motherboard standoffs installed.
Came with a very useful thing that holds your motherboard in place, and it makes working in it a lot better.

Cons: The power button broke after about a month of regular use.
It was very difficult sticking a power supply that wasn't from Corsair in it. The power supply I have from Corsair fit in it perfectly, the one from XFX not so much, it's actually suspended from the case by the screws which is a bit strange.
The SSD tray behind the motherboard tray came off. I don't know how I did it but I removed it, after I put it back I was not able to remove it again.
The instruction manual is just a paper with drawings of screws that look about exactly the same.

Other Thoughts: I have only had the case for about a month and the power button broke today. I know that it was the power button that broke because I hooked up a power button from another case to my motherboard and turned it on that way and everything worked fine, but the power button is garbage. When I first got the case I had a bad feeling about the power button. I also had a bad feeling about the power supply not fitting properly, I had watched one of Carey Holzman's videos on YouTube and he had the exact same problems with a Corsair case that I have with this case. If you want everything to work perfectly and keep working perfectly then maybe buy another case because the power button on this one is flimsy. Also if you haven't yet bought a power supply, and you plan on buying this case then do yourself a favor and buy a Corsair branded power supply, because I'm pretty sure that the screw holes in them are a bit different than other brands.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We're sorry to hear that your power button stopped working. If you submit a ticket at corsair.force.com or call us at 888-222-4346, we can send a new front I/O panel (includes a new power button) and you can replace the broken one.

Thank you,

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but flawed

Pros: There's a good amount of room for watercooling components, and not a lot of wasteful front bays.

In general the design of everything is great: two SSD mounts behind the motherboard, ATX-B design, clearly marked mobtherboard mounts for ATX and Micro ATX.

Cons: There's not *as much* space for watercooling as the advertising might make you think. Yes, you can mount a 120x3 radiator on top, but only if it's shallow and you have nothing at all in the front bays (including no reservoir/pumps).

The actual physical build quality and some design details are disappointing:
- The side panels don't "slot in" to anything, so you need to carefully apply pressure to all 3 leading edges while sliding it on.
- The front panel's grill could double as a salad slicer, and pops out easily while moving the case around.
- The entire front panel and rear feet are plastic and feel like they're going to break if the system's too heavy (water's heavy).
- The bottom screen is supposed to be held on by magnets, but they're weak and the plastic frame is bent and preventing them all from making contact at once.
- The top screen doesn't really fit well once you mount fans or a radiator to the top of the case (the edges of the mat cross over where the screws are placed, causing the entire edge to not fit right
- I ended up mounting a small radiator outside on the rear of the case, which works, but was much harder than it should have been: the cable/hose punchouts below that grill really should have been open with rubber gromits in them from the factory, IMO; the built-in fan grill bulges outwards, so I needed to bend it inwards to mount anything on the exterior; the mounting screws are also needlessly inset, so I needed a very odd sized screw to get the right length for mounting the radiator on the outside.

Other Thoughts: I feel like the major design decisions for this case were perfect, and then they messed up a bunch of the details.

That said, I was able to fit a 120x2 radiator on top, a 120x1 hanging off the rear (which should be easier to do than this), and a 240x2 in the front. That loop is working to run an OC'd i7 4930k and two OC'd R9-290X under ~55C in a fairly small case, so I'm happy with the final result.

5 out of 5 eggsJust click buy already!

Pros: Simple/ eloquent form
Massive interior for a mid tower
3 places for radiators all up to 280mm with the top supporting 360mm
Great airflow
Toolless
Genius reverse standoff for holding motherboard during install
Easy to remove and attach dust filters
High quality construction
Lightweight for it being steel
Large side panel window

Cons: I'd recommend adding a 120mm intake fan on the bottom and atleast one output fan on the top for bonus cooling but the stock fans are more than enough for most set ups.
Stock fans can be loud if they need to run full speed so I'd recommend a good cpu cooler and a fan controller

Other Thoughts: I was thrilled when this case was finally back in stock after what seemed like an eternity. Coming from a flimsy Xion predator I couldn't be more happy.

3 out of 5 eggsSemi disappointed

Pros: - sleek design
- very customizable (can remove harddrive cage, ssd bay, optical drive bay, etc)
- great airflow
- 3 dust filters (front, top, and bottom)

Cons: - didn't properly fit my micro atx motherboard.
This case supports that type of motherboard yet there wasn't any holes for a standoff (on the case) for one of the screwholes on my motherboard. I had to be super careful when plugging in my usb 3.0 cable and 24 pin power connector, otherwise I would snap the motherboard due to lack of support.

- lack of cable tie down points.
There's only 4-5 cable tie down points with 2 already being used. On top of that they are all in the same region instead of being spread out.

- lack of instructions provided for me in the box.
Everything isn't self explanatory. Had to go online to fetch the instructions.

- flimsy hard drive cage.
Doesn't take much force for it to wobble back and forth.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for your bucks

Pros: Great design, water/air just about any configuration you could want to build.

A little less quality then the NZXT H440 but way more configurable and way better air flow.

Cons: not really a con just would like to be able to remove the dual bay cage at the top of the case so there's more Rad space.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, better CS!

Pros: Great looking case

Great airflow

Fits corsair H100i in top, with barely a mm to spare. Mine nearly touches the 120mm rear exhaust fan.

Solid feel. (Not that cheapo plastic feel you get from some cases)

Dust filters galore! the front filter is very solid, and has a real heft to it, giving it that "Premium" feel. The other 2 are plastic, but blend in with the case very well. All 3 filters are very easy to clean.

Tinted side window. I didn't realize this would be a big deal, but the tinted side window gives the internals a really cool look that I am a big fan of.

Carpet-friendly. The feet set it a good inch up off the ground, giving you a bit of floor clearance for people who have to set their case on the floor, but still want to use the bottom 2 fan slots. (Tip, use those as exhaust unless you love dust.)

Cons: Bottom dust filter warped under high temperatures. I left it in my car in July, and it did not fit back on the case afterwards. See other thoughts.

Top filter won't stay flush with case after installing H100i with it's included dome topped screws. This isn't a big deal, but there are "bumps" in the top filter mesh where the screws are situated. Resolvable by getting flat topped screws.

Front panel is a pain to get back on if you aren't paying attention. Too many times only one of the clips sets in the slot, and not the other. You can't even tell it's wrong until you look closely.

Can't use bottom fan mounts with large PSU. Using a Corsair HX850, the PSU covers half of the back fan mount, and the HDD bay covers the front fan mount. This is my only really big gripe, but I should have expected it from looking at pictures.

Other Thoughts: I moved to a new house in July, and left my computer in the car while I moved furniture. A total of about 3-4 hours in midday, about 95 degrees F. When I took the machine inside, the bottom dust filter fell off, and upon looking closer, had become warped to the point that it resembled a half opened taco. It would not bend back into shape, and would not stay on the case at all. I got a hold of Corsair support, and they sent me a replacement bottom filter (And front filter too!) free of charge. No shipping, no returning the old part. No nothing. Easily one of my best return experiences, ever!

5 out of 5 eggsGorgeous Case

Pros: This case is sick! Plenty of room to work with, excellent airflow, dust filters in all the right places. Love the 140mm fans on the front. Cool temps all day!

Cons: I only have two gripes about this case. There aren't many places to zip-tie cables on the back-side of the mobo tray. There are a few, but could definitely use more. Also, if you plan on using an optical drive, removing the 5.25 bezel makes the front no longer flush. It doesn't look terrible by any means, but I would have designed it differently.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic case for the money

Pros: -Great looking with professional ascetic
-Ridiculous amount of radiator support.
-Super spacious build are making for a very pleasing work environment
-Support for up to 430mm long graphics card.
-Removable HDD cage
-Dual Spring loaded SSD cages behind the motherboard tray
-Support for long PSUs

There is so much working room in this case. Have a graphics card and an H80i? Throw it onto the rear exhaust. Want to cool your CPU with a Nepton 280L? Throw it onto the roof. I have yet to work with a case that is this easy to work in.

Cons: -HDD cage is quite flimsy.
-It is easy to remove the front panel by accident.
-Cable management is a little tricky with non-modular PSUs.
-Side panels are also a little tricky to put back into place.
-Side panels don't have retained the screws.
-Windows side panel is a little rough on the inside (Completely unnoticeable from the outside).
The cable management can be tough when you have all your PSU cables in use. I had to rely on the old "Two man resetting the back side panel." method.
