3 out of 5 eggsyou do get what you pay for.

Pros: I like the overall case but the construction is a bit lacking. I really like the clean look and the shape and style is cool. The way they have a fixed post is kind of nice to hold the MOBO in place.

Cons: The posts and screws don't seem to be quite exactly the same size, and it still seems that there is a grounding issue that I have yet to sort out. I bought it based on the corsair name thinking that it was good quality like their RAM unfortunately that has not been the case. Hopefully I can get this all sorted out and working then I will be much happier with the case.

Other Thoughts: weather or not to RMA the case is still in question at this point and purchase a better quality one.

3 out of 5 eggsAnnoyed

Pros: Cool looking... That's about it.

Cons: If you're planning on using Corsair Watercooling then look else where towards a bigger case. In order for you to do so you have to remove the internal optical drive tray. Other than that, I personally purchased this case with 3 day shipping... Which was actually 6 day shipping with a damaged box.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't suggest this case for anyone that is wanting to build a top of the line computer with 970 / watercooling etc. Maybe a mid grade computer.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent low cost case, TINTED window

Pros: Simple case, but has what you need. On an ASUS H170 motherboard I was able to fit a Cooler Master 212 Evo, even though the datasheet didn't think this would be possible. It was close, but it fit and even if the window rattled a little it wouldn't touch the top of the copper heat pipes.

Cons: Cable management is very limited, but us old schoolers never had any of the tricks modern cases provide, so I know how to make it clean regardless. Some of the drive bays and mounting points are a bit thin on metal and thus might be louder than more premium cases. Only has 1 rear exhaust fan, I thought there might also be one in the front but no. Lower fan filter was warped into a potato chip when I received it. Top fan grill opening will fit a large radiator, but it might be hard to mount given the small width. Also it leaves the top of the case wide open for sound to escape, or dust to get in without a radiator in place.

Other Thoughts: For the price, this case is good. Simple but gets the job done.

Was VERY sad that the case window was tinted. With the black interior it made seeing the internals very difficult. Had I know this was the case I would have purchased the Silent version instead.

If you ever read this Corsair and want to make it right with a truly clear window, please contact me.

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget case

Pros: -Lightweight
-Moderately roomy interior allows sufficient space for proper cable management

Cons: Cable management slots, which allow cables to be routed behind the tray, are a bit on the sharp side. Not worth knocking an egg off considering the price.

Other Thoughts: Used this case for a budget build for someone who had no interest in lights or other garish features. This is a nice simple case that was easy to build in.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product with a couple minor drawbacks

Pros: Simple and compact.
Properly Mid-Tower sized.
Front facing USB3.0.
Good cable management.
Allows for a super clean build.

Cons: Plastic feet, rather than rubber.
Not ideal for water cooling.
Can be a bit tight, especially if you're working with an assembled board.
Some mammoth video cards might not fit in SLI configuration.

Other Thoughts: I will preface this review by mentioning I was moving an assembled MotherBoard from an old case to this one, which is surely the cause of some difficulties. However, I'm positive I'm not the only that has done, or will be doing that. As such, some of my concerns would be alleviated with a fresh build, but they're worth noting anyway, in case of future component failure, or other upgrades with components in place.

With modern cases getting larger and larger (many Mid-Towers being almost as large as old Full Towers), it's nice to find a case that is classically Mid-Tower sized. As I have a desk with a raised computer platform overall dimensions were quite important, and this case fits in nicely, with a touch of space to spare to make it easy to work around for hooking up. Additionally, it's rather light due to its size, so it's easier to move around when you have to. That said, being small does make it a bit more difficult to work in some areas of this case. That, coupled with the instruction manual lead to why I gave it 4 Eggs, rather than 5 (to be fair, if I could give it 4.5, I absolutely would).

When you assemble this case, the instructions call for the MoBo to be mounted first. The proper first step to assembling this case is to remove the installed case fan. Then mount your PSU, and route your 4+4pin 12V CPU power cable through the back plate. THEN you can mount the MoBo. This makes assembly so much easier. (If you have a case with braided covers on your cables, this is going to be a tight fit. If your cables are flat ribbon type, you're absolutely golden.)

Speaking of cables, cable management in this case is pretty darn good, especially considering it's less than 8" wide. As was mentioned in another review, 90° SATA cables for the HDDS will make things easier. All of my cables (even the 20+4pin ATX) are neatly routed behind the tray, only in view long enough to hook up to their respective ports. This leads to a nice clean case, with good airflow.

If you're after a good case for water cooling, this is probably not the case for you. With the supplied 120mmx25mm rear exhaust fan, mounting another 120mmx25mm fan on the top mount has the fan bodies practically touching. I doubt there would be room for radiators in this case, other than maybe a single 120 on the back, if you want to give up one of the top fan spaces to make it fit.

While the supplied fan, and two 120mmx25mm fans mounted to the top fit with my Coolermaster Hyper212, (MSI Z97s SLI board) there isn't much space to spare, and maneuvering the top fans in around the CPU cooler necessitated removing my RAM from the board. With how close the to of the Motherboard is to the top of the case, the CPU fan needs to be hooked up before the case fans are installed.

If this case had just 1/4" to 1/2" more space above the Mother Board it would be almost perfect. Add that and Rubber feet to it, and it would be.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap.

Good build quality for price.

Very good looking.

Cons: It's very very small for an atx case. That makes it rather hard to work with and route wires cleanly. It's very hard to put the rear side panel on with wiring back there.

Not enough screws are included with it. They use the same screws for mounting the motherboard, hard drives, and power supply. They only include enough of those screws for a standard atx motherboard plus two extra. That's not enough for the power supply or even one hard drive. Interestingly the Corsair power supply I bought didn't include screws either, so I'm not sure how they expect you to mount it. Long screws are required to mount fans in the two front fan mounts but only enough screws for one fan are included.

The silent version of this case comes with a fan controller switch mounted in the back of the case. This version doesn't have it so it has a big quarter sized square hole where it would go.

They list the H60 cpu water cooler as compatible with this case, and it is, but mounting the radiator in the rear fan mount (only place it will fit) will make the 2nd (rear most) top fan mount position unusable as the radiator protrudes into the space for this mount. Also you can not mount the radiator directly to the back of the case, it hits on part of the case so you have to have a fan between the case and radiator for it to fit.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's not a horribly bad case for a budget build but I really wish I'd gone with the 200r instead.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat budget corsair case, AMD FX 8xxx/Intel 2011 builders beware.

Pros: Easy to build in. Great drive caddies. Love the design and the lightly tinted window.

Cons: Limited cooler choices as you only have 151mm clearance for tower coolers (measured myself from motherboard to side) and even though it has dual 120mm top mounts and greats no rads will fit there so only 120mm aio coolers can be used.

Other Thoughts: Awesome case if your building intel or amd apu. i built a fx 8 core, 125w tdp. stuck with stock cooler because nothing capable of cooling this hot chip will fit in case. Other then that it really is a great case and for $50 it is amazing! It didnt work out for me because ive always built AMD and after 12 year not building i put one together and did the noob thing of not paying attention to limitations of small pretty case with the hardware i put in it and wanted to upgrade to, cryorig h7 is the only 120mm i can find that would fit and new egg has removed it from site.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Case!

Pros: Great looking case, has more then enough room for wiring behind the chassis. Great for adding L.E.D'S to make the case even more good looking behind that Plexiglas. Plexiglas is removable which is a +. Has 2x USB 3.0 slots in the front.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you want a good customization case and wanna keep it cheap I suggest this case.
