5 out of 5 eggsGreat computer case for a reasonable price. However, the shipping carrier (OnTrac) sucks!

Pros: The computer case is well designed -- plenty of place to mount the cooling system; black interior makes it looks very nice unlike other budget case. I like it so far.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I like the product and would recommend it to my friend. But I will not encourage people around to shop from newegg for your shabby shipping service.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value/performance in a sub $50 case

Pros: Painted finish & plastic front cover are smooth and attractive in a minimalist fashion.
Case material is thick enough to not flex under normal usage.
Window extends out from case wall a bit for added clearance and provide good view of case interior.
Enough clearance to accommodate a Cooler Master T4 CPU Cooler (not sure about a 212 EVO so went with T4 model instead).
Very good cooling options (although only a single 120mm fan comes installed) with room for 2X 120mm fans in front & 2X also in top.
Filtered intake on front cover and PSU. Bottom mounted PSU (my preferred location).
Sufficient clearance to mount full length video cards.
Due to Micro-ATX size, I recommend you install CPU, cooler, memory, before mounting motherboard inside case.
Mounting locations for 3.5" and 2.5" drives. Adequate clearance behind mobo tray to route and secure cabling.
USB 3.0 and 2.0 along with headphone/mic connections on front panel.
Thumbscrews secure side panels for easy access.
Removable hard drive cage allows for a bit more room during assembly.
Motherboard standoffs already installed.
No noticeable sharp edges encountered during assembly.

Cons: Add in card slots are punched metal so if you remove one and later remove the card it will leave an open slot for potential dust entry.
Only one of the front panel USB connectors is 3.0.
Plastic feet are a loose fit and rattle a bit during assembly but a non-issue once completed and case is resting on them.
Space is tight, but that is the nature of Micro-ATX size.
Cable management took a little extra work but not too bad. A modular PSU would eliminate that minor issue.

Other Thoughts: Some others complained about optical drive installation issues but the ASUS model I used slid right in with no problem.
Some others complained about threads stripping. I had no issues but was careful not to over-tighten screws during installation.

As stated in the title, I found it to be a very good value/performer for the low price. Solid construction, plenty of cooling and the shape/finish/window convey a nice aesthetic. If you are looking for a well appointed case for a budget build this one fits the bill.

I purchased this case to assemble a low-cost, budget gaming computer using components I had left over from old upgrades to my PC:
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE
ASRock 970M Pro3 AM3+
8Gb RAM
eVGA GTX 960
1Tb HDD
Optical Drive
500W EVGA PSU
Windows 10 64-bit

4 out of 5 eggsSolid cheap small tower

Pros: Good setup for front mounted water coolers (I fit an H75 and an additional 120mm fan in the front)
Front panel removes more easily than a lot of cases for front fan installation
Light case but still feels sturdy
Pre-mounted motherboard standoffs
Good dust filters on front panel and PSU fan location
Included rear fan is quiet and decent quality
Aesthetically pleasing
Window looks great (better than my old Graphite 600T from Corsair)

Cons: SSD / 2.5" drives are not tool-less and feel kind of awkward to install - it's not challenging to install them but just "odd" at first
Issue might be unique to my 10 000 RPM velociraptor but could not screw it in as securely as I like, there's not much play but I would prefer no play
Only one USB 3.0 port on the front, I don't think it would have been challenging to make them both 3.0
No dust filter on top fan panel if you want to experiment with intaking from there instead of exhausting

Other Thoughts: It's worth remembering this is a small mid-tower, not a toaster/shoebox tiny build. I find it's really well made for the price.
While it could certainly use a front fan stock, I understand not bundling it to support large radiators up front - I used a smaller radiator and a quiet fan and I have no complaints about that configuration, but I'm not sure how good temperature management would be with just the rear exhaust and an air cooler.

It's light, it looks good, and it's very easy to work in. It's not very loud, which was a concern as it lacks the sound-deadening features of my last two cases (Graphite 600T and Cooler Master Cosmos) but I have nothing to complain about from a sound perspective, even from my 10 000 RPM drive somewhat loosely attached with screws to the metal - and I doubt there are many people using 2.5" 10 000 RPM drives any more.

There seem to be a lot of complaints about attaching an optical drive, but I had no issues and did not even have to remove the front panel to install it. The optical bay cover had a tab to press out and my LG DVD writer slid right in without any complaints. I will say it might be worth removing the optical drive if you're taking the front panel off to add front fans/radiators however, as you need to "tilt" the front panel to take it off however.

Configuration is a Gigabyte Gaming 5 motherboard, i5 6600K, Radeon 6950, an H75 water cooler, and an additional front 120mm fan

4 out of 5 eggsnice compact and good looking

Pros: i love that i can fit everything i need in here that includes mobo,2 ssd(in back ssd spots) 2 hdds, a 240mm liquid cpu cooler either on top or in front space enough room for 5 fans up (120-140mm)

Cons: cable management cutouts to close on top of mobo for 8 pin cpu connect if using modular psu
-glass/plastic window scratches easily
-non reapplicable pci extension slots

Other Thoughts: 10/10 for micro atx gaming/workbench

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Friendly Small Case

Pros: - Excellent Price
- Lightweight
- Super Quiet (even with 5 fans and H100i GTX radiator) and 650w power supply
- Both side panels are easily removed with thumb screws
- Nice wire management tie downs, especially at its budget price point
- Plenty of space behind motherboard tray (Non-removable) and panel to hide many wires
- Cutout on back of motherboard tray to easily allow for installation of cooling device back plate while the motherboard is already mounted in the case
- Case filter under the power supply
- Room for most any graphics card
- Room for water cooling even with a relatively small case (H100i GTX)
- Zero sharp edges

Cons: - Plastic front, looks brushed Aluminum in the picture. Wasn't a deal breaker, I just should have read the details further
- Optical drive was hardest part of my install. The front panel needed to be removed, the optical drive inserted without its face plate, the front panel is put back on and finally the optical drive face plate.
- Although I used a water cooler, CPU fan height might be an issue if a super large model was selected

Other Thoughts: I did not use the SSD mounts or the HDD cage. I removed the cage just for looks only. I had plenty of room to hide wires with or without it installed but in the end I chose to remove it since it was empty and I wanted to show off my clean install without clutter.

I would recommend this case for sure!

3 out of 5 eggsAlright case

Pros: I loved this case for the amazing looks and the great price.

Cons: What did I not like about the product? I hated how I had to almost bend cables back to be able to fit them into the drive cage, but that may be just me not knowing how to use the drive cage.

I hate the fact that the front panel audio is already dying on me two weeks in. For someone that will always use a 3.5mm headset, this is terrible news.

There is also very little room for cable management...not that great for inexperienced builders.

Other Thoughts: I would not purchase this product again...look further because the experience I had with the front panel audio is the deal breaker here.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad, But With Issues

Pros: Lightweight. Lower-height. Nice and simple looking.

Cons: This is a lower-height case but, due to room in the front for vertically mounted water cooler, about the same depth as many others. Although I intended not to install a water cooler, the room in the front was needed to secure some of the wiring.

Others elsewhere have commented on the cheap screws used to hold the side covers to the case. I agree that these are not quality machine-thread screws with knurled heads for gripping. If you intend to open the case a lot, the cheap sheet-metal-type screws bearing a plastic molded head could become a problem, perhaps even strip out. Cheap, cheap, cheap. But if you intend to build the system and generally leave it be, the screws will be ok.

The worst problem, again mentioned by others, is in the mounting and mounting-bracket for the optical drive. I can see why others have written that the front of the optical drive does not fit flush with the front of the case, but remains recessed about a half inch (which is terrible). Moreover, the intended slip-in and clip-in-place bracket did not catch, or secure the optical drive. My solution was to remove the case face panel, insert the optical drive, rear first, into the case face panel (rather than first into the mounting rails), then inset the combination face plate and optical drive into the front of the case while holding the face of the optical drive flush with the case face panel. As noted, the clip arrangement on the mounting rails did not work; I therefore mounted the optical drive to the rails using appropriately sized screws. Bad, bad, bad.

Another problem is one that is becoming more and more common these days. The rear panel has four removable slot covers, each positioned in front of the area where a daughter card may be mounted to the motherboard. In the “old days”, each of the slot covers was held in place by a snug insert at the bottom and a single screw at the top. If you opened one, used the slot, but later decided to mount the daughter card into a different slot on the motherboard, the original slot bracket cover could be secured back into place so as to cover the opening. Not with this case. The slot covers are not secured with screws to the back case frame; rather, in the manufacturing process they are punch-formed from the sheet metal of the back panel, held in place by a couple of thin protrusions, much like parts of a plastic toy model where the parts come attached to a plastic tree, and which then are broken or cut free. The problem in the instance of a computer case, however, is that there is no screw by which to replace the slot cover if you, after initial removal, want to replace it. You’re stuck with a gaping hole in the back of the case. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Other Thoughts: I suspect that the aforementioned deficiencies would not have to be present if the manufacturer allocated another 50 cents to the manufacturing cost of each case. And speaking of cents, you now have two of mine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Case

Pros: -The case is very sturdy
-Both sides panes have very little flex in them
-Fair number of tie down points for cable management
-Case looks very attractive with the smoked window
-Drives are an ease to install and 2 ssd mounts are available behind the mobo tray
-Great ventilation with great potential for fan/ rad upgrades for the front and top
-High quality on/ reset button
-Huge space for gfx card, will fit any length card of the market
-All black interior
-Front faux brushed aluminum is actually really nice
-Metal is rounded off for the safety of the builder and cables
-HDD cage can be removed via thumb screws (was super impressed with this in such a ---cheap case)
-Pre-installed standoffs

Cons: -The window is a little too dark for my liking but isn't terrible
-The HDD cage is in a bit of awakard position and isn't the best design (obviously Corsair saving money here)
-There isn't much room to manage cables, the panel bulge isn't as big as it looks in the picture but will accommodate good cable management (it will be fairly difficult to hide all the cables without a modular psu)
-The expansion slots have those pop out metal pieces
-The bracket that you screw expansion cards like a gfx card or USB expansion is simply terrible. After screwing my gfx io to the bracket the metal threads stripped immediately. I did not excessively tighten the screws either, all slots had this problem
-Front USB is not aligned perfectly so sometimes it catches on the metal and does not go in smoothly (your milage may vary)
