4 out of 5 eggstemperature led

Pros: very nice looking case .quality build lot of room for every thing .

Cons: the only thing that only work for about one day off and on is the temperaure gauge led .
now i did contact apevia and i was talking to [serina] to get a replacement led .
now i only have this case for about 3 weeks .
what she said to me was i send you a rma and you get the led out drive to the post office [5.00] wort of gas plus the envelope .then she said you will have to pay for the shipping to get the led light ship to you .
the led only cust 2.95 .
so when you see one year warranty it bull to me .
i was buying all my led fans from apevia .
but no more .this is it for apevia for me .
this companie is so sheap i just dont beleive it .
we are not talking 25.00 here onlt 2.95 .
i will buy some led light to fix it put not from apevia .

5 out of 5 eggsKewl Lookin

Pros: Cheap, for 1

Looks pretty kewl with the front LEDs and side fans.
Comes with a Little rectangle box with wires sticking out...(Idk what for, cause its not for power...) >.<

I threw in a LEPA Casino 1C (Blue LED 120mm Fan w/difrnt flash patterns for the back) with it, $10, HIGHLY recommend!

Cons: Sure its a bit flimsy in places... like the entire thing >.<
But its cheap so what did you expect. You pretty much buy the LEDs and fans, that metal stuff comes free lol

Top Fan placement was poorly thought out. (I know its just a Mid tower) The little PSU is a terd, i nvr used it but it doesn't have many plugs so don't expect magic from the little guy. So I got a 700W fer mah buddy, and the top fan no longer fits... I had to push back on the PSU and up on the case at the same time to bend the metal enough to get the 2 left side screws back in... No amount of pushing could get the other side lined up,(I broke a sweat) the plastic of the fan had to warp a bit for the first 2. cant really tell the screws are missing if you're not looking for it, So far he hasn't noticed hehe. but that's the price you pay for awesome... Or for cheap awesome...

Other Thoughts: Haven't really had it long enough to give more info but this was a gift for a friend to start his first rig, and I'd buy it again for sure!

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: I purchased this case for my mom, she needed a new one and at first I was going to get her a basic case but she said she wanted one with some "pizaz" so we settled on this one. This case is light weight and for what it is, its perfect. The power supply it came with egh not so great its Ok for my moms very basic build (its basically a intel celeron hp in a new case thats about it) but I don't even think were going to keep it around we'll be switching soon to a 80 plus

Cons: The power supply its not a very good one it would probably be Ok for a basic build but I don't have that much faith in it. Hope I'm wrong though

Other Thoughts: This is a beatiful case, and if you don't order it expecting a heavy duty gaming case but, if you order it with both eyes open, you should be happy with what you receive.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent quality, fun to work with.

Pros: Stylish case, used it for a client (my calc teacher lol shh).. Very fun to operate on and very fun to just look at. The airflow is impressive. I installed a blue LED 120 in the back and two blueLED 80s in front of the HDD housing. In combo with standard fans, this thing looked like a mothership.

Cons: The mobo tray didn't seem to lock in correctly when I flipped the ext table up. Had to jiggle and play with it before I was able to get it somewhat in-line. This problem made it difficult for me to install the ordered PCIs and fxcard; they had trouble lining up with hind PCI ports. Might've just been my failure to slide it in properly.

Power supply cables were a pain in the bottom because they weren't long enough and I had to mess around with my supply configuration to get all the way to the bottom to hit my HD, but still had to keep it relatively close to the top to hit my DVD-ROM. But the supply is sufficient I guess. I check in with the client and he's had no power problems.

The temperature guage is slow to react and the actual thermometer has the shortest cable I have ever seen. It barely made it out from under the HDD housing.

Other Thoughts: I don't recommend putting a bATX or a µATX in here. Bolt configuration isn't exactly appropriate for anything but a standard ATX.

5 out of 5 eggsSpiffy case

Pros: Has a good amount of space, layout is typical, 120mm rear fan, several fans in general. Lights are cool and makes a nice night light.
I bought this case from NewEgg back in October of 2004
and this case has seen a lot of upgrades and I haven't had any trouble stuffing it in.
It is just a neat looking case.

Cons: Just a couple of minor ones.
Use of top fan will limit your choices of power supplies.
Ditch the included power supply. (I used mine for trouble shooting other computers that I work on)
One of the lower LED's in the front panel has gradually went from the bright blue to a slightly more purple look, but other than that everything (lights, front temp display) works.

Other Thoughts: Currently running:
ASUS MN32-SLI DELUX Motherboard
4gig of PATRIOT 6400 RAM
AMD AM2 5800 with a ZEROtherm ZEN FZ120 120mm CPU Cooler (and this sucker is huge)
2 MSI 9600GT SLI (these are rather long cards with huge heat sinks)
Sound Blaster Audigy Z2S
3 SATA and 1 EIDE hard drives (it's a hold over)
2 DVD/CD burners
4 80mm and 1 120mm case fans and 1 litte fan on the system heat pipe system (It's a cute little guy)
All driven by a Viotek 700W power supply (I've come to appreciate these PS units after spending as much as 100 bucks on "Name brand" units only to watch them pop a capacitor, start smoking or just take a dump in general).
As you see, you can stuff a lot in this case.

5 out of 5 eggsLongevity at it's finest.

Pros: This case has withstood the test of time. I first came into possession of this case a few years back, when I bought it for a friend. He had kept it in his sister's car, forgetting to take it inside, and one night she lost control of the car and flew into the river by the road bumper first. They unearthed the car, and the case was STILL viable. All the fans still worked, the front connections, power buttons...heck, it wasn't even DENTED. I've been using it myself ever since.

Also, lots of room. Decent airflow. Not made out of cheap material.

Cons: Only con I have is the temperature gauge really doesn't work. Though that could have been from the dip in the river. Not sure.

Other Thoughts: A very nice roomy case for a mid tower, and a good cost. Also, it's nifty having a case that looks like a Beamer.

1 out of 5 eggsEhhhh

Pros: Overall it was a great case, it has alot of room inside, and has all the necessary do dads, and it looks cool.

Cons: My front panel where it lights up the x-infinity lettering and where all the pizazz is on the front, including the temperature device, burnt out in 4 days after i got it, aspire sent me not a replacement case, but a replacement front, and it was fake, yeah you heard me fake, i didn't relize it until recently after holding off the replacement of the front until much later. Fake meaning it had bulbs in it, but it was broken on the studs, and it wasn't actually put togehter correctly. Aspire is a horrible company.

Other Thoughts: Don't Get aspire cases, they suck.

Manufacturer Response:

If you need to get a replacement part, you can contact Apevia's customer service at or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

5 out of 5 eggsLong lasting case.

Pros: Great case for longevity. Have had it for over 3 years now. Lots of room, decently sturdy, lots of options for fans, good airflow, and decent for wire management. Lights are nifty.

Cons: Only cons I have are sometimes those headlights are way too bright. Also, I can't get the front off, but that may just be me.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great case. Good deal for the money. Throw out the junk PSU though.

Manufacturer Response:

There should be six (6) screws holding the front panel in place to the case body. To remove the front panel, all you should have to do is remove the screws, get a grip on the groove at the bottom, and then pull off the panel.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case but...

Pros: Nice and sturdy. Lots of room and no sharp edges...yet.

Cons: No SATA power connections. 4 SATA drives but no power...seems a bit odd no?

Other Thoughts: I'd give it 5 eggs but if I didn't have some spare SATA converters I'd be outta luck.
