The Apevia MX-Pleasure case is delicately balanced between striking style and outstanding performance. Front panel features two “old school” gauges with modern blue backlights to monitor temperature and fan speed, fan control, along with an I/O panel (2 USB 2.0 ports and a Firewire). Both front panel and side panel are lockable, for added security. The case come standard with a 80mm side fan, and a 120mm rear fan, both with blue LED lights, to give you strong airflow and cool blue lighting.

Your standard ATX, Baby AT, or Micro ATX motherboard and peripherals will have plenty of power with the included 500-watt power supply, and you’ll have plenty of room to for it all, with 7 expansion slots. Whether you’re building from the ground up, or looking to expand your current system, the MX-Pleasure is an grand blend of style and function.

4 out of 5 eggsNice box, gamer special I'm guessing

Pros: This box came with everything. I am particularly happy that it came with a good sized power supply. I know many boxes these days make you buy the supply separately, so this was a pleasant plus.

The box was well put together, came with a second set of keys, and apears to be quite spacious inside.

Cons: I'm using it for my home theater, and the indigo blue lights are a bit irritating. I'm hoping to find a way to get rid of them, but have as of yet been un-successful. For you gamers though, I'm sure they would be a nifty plus.

Other Thoughts: The on-board temperature sensor and fan dial are cute, and I'm guessing a big deal for gamers, but I prefer not to use them. My motherboard has temp sensors that are more reliable, and it also handles fan speeds on-board.

3 out of 5 eggsHandle with Care

Pros: nice-looking case with a decent power supply.

Cons: Difficulty installing optical drives. Plastic door flimsy. Blanks poorly cut, look terrible. "Hinges" are awful.

Other Thoughts: Plastic door latch broke and the door itself came off its little nubs that serve as hinges. Installing optical drives was a chore, and removing them was even harder. Only way to keep the door closed is with the lock, which is plastic as well. Not worth the money I paid for it. I was hopeful but in the end disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsUnderstated Quality

Pros: I've built a few computers, various sizes and functions, but this case truly impressed me. Nothing about the case felt half-done, or cheap. It just felt right. The bottom mounting for the PSU was good, it aids in cooling, and top-weight. It just does everything a case is supposed to, I guess. It holds your stuff. Hooking up front panel USB and audio to a Mobo was easy. Putting in new drives (5.25 or 3.5) was simple and easy. Even putting in new fans in the front was easy. The power button is a nice size, the reset button is hard to press on accident. Rear was just as useful.

Just good.

The overall visual design of the case is very nice. It's all straight lines and serious business. The covers for the bays that aren't in use are basically invisible when not in use. The actual amount of space made available for maintenance when the side-panel is removed is very functional, and gives more than enough room for fiddling about. When this case is off, or if it's running quiet without light-up fans, it doesn't draw attention to itself, leaving that attention to more important aspects like internal components. It's not obtrusively branded, the "Antec" logo isn't even a separate color from the rest of the machine.

Overall, excellent for the price, even for a higher price, I'd buy this again.

Cons: Virtually no cons for this case. The only cons I can list are things they could have done marginally better.

The LEDs for the HDD and the Power are the same color, but I don't use them.

The internal and rear metal is not painted, but it doesn't have a side window, so it doesn't really matter, does it?

Only one top fan space

You have to take off the side panel to open the front, which isn't even a big issue, and is common anyway.

Other Thoughts: The cons are the only small things I'd change with this case. A perfect case for someone who doesn't need to show it off, but just wants something that feels, and is solid, and works.

3 out of 5 eggsVery sturdy and looks cool

Pros: 1)Lots of space
2)Solid build
3)Colored lights and fans look really cool
4)Power supply works well

Cons: 1)Temperature sensor wire is a bit short, so it doesn't reach the CPU.
2)The front door is a bit cheap and it will not close the whole way unless you install the CD/DVD without a faceplate or push it back.
3)The power button sticks sometimes and it won't pop back out until I fidget with it for a bit.

Other Thoughts: The front lights stopped working after a year, but it's nothing too bad. The fan control does nothing for me - I just run them at 100% all the time, but your mileage may differ.

4 out of 5 eggsNot to bad

Pros: The case looks great, good cooling systems (might want to buy an extra fan for the hard drive bay.) Lights and a cool look to the case, temp and fan speed work good.

Cons: The only con is that the power supply it comes with, not all the connectors are list before you order i figured that it would have 2 (p4) connectors but only has one, and does not have a (p8) connector so i just purchased a new power supply. I gave it a 4 because i really like the case, and the power supply is good in another one of my computers they just need to work on some of the listing.

1 out of 5 eggsIt's an eye sore and a strain on your wallet!

Pros: When it worked it worked poorly.

Cons: Where do I start.

When I put my computer together I thought I would have some minor glitches that I could iron out. At first it wouldn't turn on. After fiddling around with the power supply that was provided I managed to turn it on so that the motherboard was powering up, however, the rest of the computer lay dead. I removed some parts, reset them, cleaned everywhere, and came to the conclusion that my motherboard was bad after talking to the guys at EVGA (great company). They exchanged my motherboard 3 or 4 times until I gave up and asked a friend's help. It was the power supply that came with the case! I installed a new power supply and I was able to install and run Vista - only for a few days before it crashed on me. Short time after the front cover and on switch broke. After some troubleshooting and hard work it became clear to me that my setup was overheating. This was in early 2008. And until a few weeks ago this case along with some very cool gaming hardware

Other Thoughts: (Cons Cont.) lay dormant. I will never buy an apevia case ever again - even though it may be one bad egg - I'll go for reliability.

1 out of 5 eggsShorts and ruggedness

Pros: Decent cooling and space for the average user, fun looking design, and fan control/lcd on the front is a nice feature.

Cons: Problem fitting larger graphic cards and multiple hard drives especially with certain motherboard setups. Front door is flimsy and the latch will likely break, so your front will hang open. This case has shorted out 3 motherboards. No side facing drive trays for ease of drive access without having to dismount large cards. I'm leaning away from future apevia cases.

3 out of 5 eggsCooling Issues

Pros: Big space to work with. Fans are quiet. Heavy and stout. Feet can be turned out so the case can stand more stable (wont tip easy)

Cons: Door is flimsy. I have cooling issues at least for my GPU. The side fan is at a weird position (to me anyways) No second intake fan. Blue HDD mounts arent the most user friendly Ive used when building a computer and compared to other cases could be designed much better.
USB ports arent mounted strong at all. Feels cheap

Other Thoughts: CPU when it has a load stays warm but I dont think it gets overheated. I dont know how accurate the guages are. I installed another intake fan on the front, flowing right to the GPU and it still overheats when playing COD5. Its only a 9800GT!
I thought I would like the front door witht eh lock, but its really just a hastle now after a couple months.
Power supply works good, Im using it in another computer, LOL

3 out of 5 eggsReturned!

Pros: Very Nice Interior, PSU included = bonus! 500W

Cons: Plastic Front of case, HORRIBLE! broken when i received it, but i looked at it, and there isnt a hole for the top peg to insert, its poor design. its supposedly held in by tension, which doesnt work out well opening and closing the front many times!

Other Thoughts: get the Jupiter, its worth it to buy a case with a METAL! door and hinges!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsroom with a view

Pros: well its very large ,fits my 4870 with plenty of room to spare . add 2 fans and this is a super cool running case . the power supply that comes with it is weak to say the least and would run a 9800gt with no problem but beyond that it may have some issues so i got a corsair ps from day 1 and dont ever worry about a power supply fitting this thing its huge area!

Cons: the power supply will not run a 4850 or a 4870 and im sure you geforce guys will agree it wont run your 260 or 280s either.

Other Thoughts: I like the gauges a lot and they are accurate and well lit.
