4 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: nice airflow, more than enough fans.

nice LEDs

temperature gauges make troubleshooting performance issues a breeze.

fan control on front

Cons: after 4 years fans starting to be very noisy.
had to disconnect 2 to stop rattling noise.

HDD mount options are many but they leave something to be desired. (my HDD doesn't fit very well; kind of just loosely sitting in the mount.)

Other Thoughts: The con is a big one, but I mean. I'm pushing four years with this case so I really cant complain.

this is where the dock of 1 point came from.

5 out of 5 eggsApevia Cases

Pros: Incredible case it was even better than I expected because most of the time people put low end on cases. Apevia made a perfect case a very easy to use manual and everything worked the first time. The look is incredible as well as function. This is the best case I have ever had and I am going to buy that power supply as well just because? It's hot! This is my pride and joy!

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that the front door could be smoother but the look makes up for it.

Other Thoughts: Put some ports in for liquid cooling.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case/Lousy Support

Pros: Nice looking case. LCD Display functional and looks sharp. Installing component really easy. Even has a removable MB tray so you can install the MB on the bench and not reach around the case.

Has some nice channels for routing cable

Front door nice and solid, looks slick and tidy when closed. Comes with Rear, top and side fan. But only the side fan is LED

Cons: With the LCD there is no room for a front fan although there is a mount.

I docked 1 egg for lousy support

On the LCD display there is a HHD activity indicator. It shows constant activity. Contacting support has been a nightmare.

First they tell me it not suppose to show activity, and yet there is a 2wire led, spliced to the LED that goes to the HDD LED plug on the MB.

From Support:" It is not supposed to blink. Only the amber light above the power LED is supposed to blink when the hard drive is being accessed."

Then they tell me: "I double-checked on the indicator that you are talking about and it is supposed to be on all the time. It is just there for aesthetic reasons."

Really? aesthetics ??

and yet they went on to make 12 and 5 volt rail monitors, voice gain meter, fan percentage level and 2 temperatures functional.

Personally I think theres a short in the diode that splices the HDD LED light and LCD HDD plug together because the LED is ultra dim

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm happy with the case. The constant movement of the HDD Indicator not enough to make me regret the purchase. However, any Apevia case thats NOT a $40 bare bones black box, I will not purchase for fear of paying for something I wont ever get.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: Easy to work with, looks great, functional and smart design. Easily the best case I have ever owned. The case design seems to limit large pieces of dust from entering the case, which is nice.

Cons: The LCD lights on my side panel fan are beginning to burn out. I've had the case for more than 3 years, so this is to be expected.

4 out of 5 eggsheatsink inbound!

Pros: This the second case I've bought. It's lightweight, good looking, and is VERY easy to use. My last case was a thermaltake and it craftsmanship on it was terrible. Nothin fit just right. Screwholes were off by a bit here and there. That's not the case for this case. Everything is precise and fits perfectly. It has a nice mobo tray that lifts out. The screws are all labeled for their purpose. The HDD slots are perpendicular so their wires play nice with your beastly graphics card (mine's a amd radeon 6870). DVD-ROM slots fit perfectly and were easy to install. Mobo output hole was the perfect size.

Cons: BEWARE: The door-fan may not fit with your heatsink. Its placement is somewhat poor and my "COOLER MASTER RR-CCH-LB12-GP 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler" bumps into it. So much so that I have to prop the door with a wide plastic coat hanger (works alright). I may just unscrew the fan though so the door sits.

It's only slightly larger than a mid-tower. Compared to my thermaltake mid-tower, it's only a two to three inches wider. The two temperature sensors are neat, but they need to taped to the heatsink and HDD. They say to use thermal tape, but don't supply any and I don't think I should be using scotch tape...

Other Thoughts: Noise level is about what you'd expect. Mine would probably be a tad quieter if the door was totally closed :/ The fan knob and display is pretty cool. Also, my package arrived with a small 2x2 inch hole punched into it. ZERO damage to the unit due to good packaging :D

I bought this "COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series RSA00-80GAD3-US 1000W ATX" psu along with this case. Was a snap to install (good amount of room for you hands) and the colors match well. There were precise screw holes here as well.

So far I'm very pleased with this case even with the door fan issue. I'll post updates if something new pops up.

4 out of 5 eggsMissing Parts

Pros: Looks great, feels sturdy.

Cons: Came shipped with only one drive rail! I almost didn't purchase this case because I wanted tool free drive bays. I guess they are tool free since I don't have enough to install a drive! I have contacted Apevia but wondering if would have quicker service if I just RMA to Newegg instead.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully will be able to add more once I have it up and running, unless I return it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case.

Pros: Quality materials used in its construction. Front panel usb 2.0, LCD monitor for fan speed, voice, and two temperature monitoring, and fan speed control knob.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I thought this case came with 4 blue led fans but only has one. (side panel fan) The rest are only made of blue plastic but you can hardly notice. I also noticed that the colors for the front panel wires semed to go against the common color scheme. (Black used for the lead wire isntead of it being ground) I went by what the manual said that it had a small arrow on the clips for the lead wire. Didnt have an issue with wrong connections by doing this. The fan speed controller on the front seemed a bit uneeded but I hooked it up to the top fan for the case and just leave it turned wide open. It doesnt cause too much noise for me and is hardly noticable when gaming/watching a movie. Overall it seems that the placement of the fans worked out nicely for my build and seem to create a nice airflow throughout the case. No issue fitting in my 850w PSU with the top fan installed. Would recommend this case to friends/family.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Plenty of room. Blue LED background lights are NOT obnoxious. This case comes with 2 temp sensors for the inside of the case so you can monitor your CPU, HDD, and/or ambient temp. Very much room. PSU slot on the top. My rig is not cramped for space at all. Comes with four fans that keep it running really cool.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, but it seems that the instructions are a bit vague. Had to do a little guess work for a bit. However, I must say, this was my FIRST TIME putting a rig together. And I only had the internet to help me. So I used some common sense, the instruction booklet, and the internet. And now I am using the components inside and out the this very case to type this review. Love the space inside. Lots of expansion slots.
