Remember when every computer case looked the same and was a color charitably called “putty”? Well, they're still available if you want them, but you can also get a gleaming mid-sized ATX-compatible tower with LED highlights and a plastic viewport into the guts.
Ten drive bays and seven I/O slots give room for expansion, and a front panel LCD display tracks the internal temperature. Side 120mm fan with UV blue LED as well as 120mm rear fan keeps everything cool while illuminating the interior, and if they're not quite enough, you can add one more. You can also access your audio and your USB 2.0 from the front panel.
If you want a computer that is as much showpiece as it is working tool, then perhaps this is just what you're looking for.

Everything Works
- Pros: If you've read some of the reviews on this case, there have been cases (pun intended) of broken LCDs, LEDs, side panels being cracked, and wires not being long enough to reach front ports. All I can say is that I received a case that worked perfectly. Apevia must have revised the Jupiter Jr. because it seems that the minor issues with this case have been fixed.
Ok, now for the good stuff. The case is very easy to work with but you really have to take your time because there are lots of wires that are bunched up. Separate them slowly and plan out your attack and you should have no problems with installation. All the lights worked, the LCD temp gauge works and looks nice, and the fan speed control does a good job. The blue led Apevia looks cool with it's cool deep blue glow.
Tooless design of the drive bays worked great.
- Cons: As stated by other reviewers here, the lower part of the front panel in the product photo shows blue led lights from a fan...a fan that is not included with the case. You'll have to take out the drive bay and the front panel to do this. There were no instructions in the manual on how to do this.
The manual is colorful but needs revision...it leaves out what to do with the RF ring (not everybody knows this), doesn't tell you how to install the front fan, and could be clearer as far as daisy chaining the fans.
- Other Thoughts: Most of the tips written by the reviewers here were instrumental in helping me to do a successful build without reinventing the wheel. They filled out a lot of the gaps that were missing as far as assembly instructions and what to look out for in making the PC build easier.
My rig: Apevia X- Jupiter (of course!), Gigabyte 9800 GT video card, 4GB DDR2 Ballistix Crucial memory, Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Ultra Durable 3 motherboard, Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz, 2- 250GB drives, 2 - DVD R/W, 1 - floppy and a partidge in a pear tree...
-
Manufacturer Response:If you need help with the case, you can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.
great case
- Pros: Excellent customer service from Newegg, and Apevia after rebate problems.
Excellent thermal airflow with a cheap front 120mm fan. looks great, and performs very well. REALLY like the idea of the hdd bays, quick release setup, and good airflow for the drives. Maybe I'm dumb, but the tab system never seemed to be quite in alignment on a couple of the rails.
- Cons: wires everywhere- highly recommend zip tying everything in place once you have it the way you want it. If you don't it looks cheesy with wires here and there. My friend laughed his gluteus off when he saw it put together with the wires everywhere- yeah you really want to make it neat with wire ties when you decide on the perfect mobo, and all.
- Other Thoughts: had an expected issue with the rebate- never got the initial rebate, or any kind of explanation as to why. I contacted newegg- and they told me they would forward my info to Apevia. After posting a review that was less than flattering about rebate concerns (and deleted) I was contacted by newegg, and Apevia in record time. The PROPER rebate form was submitted and the rebate check was extremely quick in getting here. I guess it was a goof with the wrong form for the date I bought it, and my oversight in not triple checking the forms to be sure that they were correct.
(be sure to make a good copy of anything EVER sent in for a rebate- it really helps when issues arise{and they will})
-
Manufacturer Response:Hey! You are not dumb, and we do not allow that kind of talk around here! : ) Thanks for sharing your rebate situation. Most customers that do not receive their rebates say nothing to our company, then write a horrible review about how we don't send rebates and tell others that they should not expect one either! :( support@apevia.com

rock solid, with teeth
- Pros: I've owned this case since early May, and IMO it rocks. Especially if you consider that (in my case) the fans came installed with the side flowing as intake and the rear as exhaust FROM THE FACTORY. The case is more than large enough for my 9600 gt card (the reason WHY I bought it). The fan controller works by changing the voltage which makes the included side fan change brightness as well as speed. I put in rubber fan mounts, a coolrmastr green led 120mm exhaust(rear) fan and a sithe 120mm intake (front), this combination makes my computer barely audible on my hardwood floor from more than like 5' away, and that's in a LARGE room in an open floor plan with more hard surfaces than soft ones (hard surfaces amplify noise by allowing it to bounce around more). The included fans are.... inexpensive, nice but I had better ones :P. The temp monitors are nice, but I don't know about accuracy. I find that both the hdd and power LEDs are bright and visible, but not TOO bright....
- Cons: It does not cook food for me!
Seriously though, unless you're careful with it it will nip and bite at you something fierce, as the edges are not completely smooth. There also could be better cable management. The front door seems to love chomping down on my headphone cable x.x (not worth docking, just a heads up). Oh and the stupid slits on the side where the fan mounts to restricts airflow (a few minutes later with a rotary tool decreased inside temps by about 3*F across the board).
- Other Thoughts: I love this case, it does it's job, looks good doing it, and didn't cost me too much. I docked it an egg because it made me bleed a bit more than I had hoped, as well as lack of cable management, both of which I could have made better/avoided :B. I personally modded the slits off and I am now running @ about 85*F(gpu) and 81*F(cpu)
gear: biostar TA790XE, XFX 9600GT, AMD phenomIIX4 955 black edition not oc'd, four sticks of high end 2mb ocz ram (hand me downs from dad, THANKS DAD!) two Seagate barracuda .5tb hdds, an old asus dvd drive, a new lg dvdrw, Windows 7X64 home MY windows experience scores are as follows : CPU 7.3 RAM 7.5 AREO 6.8 graphics 6.8 hdd 5.8 no my hdd's are not in a RAID nor do I want them to be at the moment IMO, this is a rock solid case to start your build off of, the manual was a bit meh but it will be more than good enough for the average newbie, the only complaints I have are more than acceptable for the pricerange and specs of this case, so HAVE AT IT!
great tower for great price
- Pros: great lighting, plenty of drive bays in the front that are neatly concealed behind the cool-looking door with the lcd screen that gives you your temp readouts for the cpu and hdd or whatever you attach the thermometers to.
not to mention the dial on the front lets you control fan speed and led brightness usb and firewire ports on the top of the case are very convenient if your rig sits on the floor
- Cons: umm the dial on the front that controls fan speed and brightness kinda sucks because if you want to turn the lights out to go to bed, you have to turn the fans off as well which was kind of annoying, plus the lcd screen is cool but it only shows temperature which im not entirely sure warrants an lcd screen but what the heck?
- Other Thoughts: arrived in great condition very versatile for motherboards
overall awesome tower very great buy
Great Case, Hardly any Cons!
- Pros: Great Case, Cool Light Up Logo and Fan, Great Durability, Sleek
- Cons: I thought that both fans lighted up, only one does. Somewhat difficult to add another fan to the inside mount.
- Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a good priced excellent computer case, look no further. Sure, there are better ones, but for the price, this one is a deal. Enough Said.
