3 out of 5 eggsBoy its hot!

Pros: I bought this case as an upgrade from my mini atx for more expansion. Its a pretty sturdy case with plenty of room for expansion

Cons: Even though it has places for up to 3 fans, (2 -120 mm and 1-80 mm) it still runs pretty hot. The front facing has no mesh for airflow so the only way for air movement is by the 3 fans. I had to replace 2 of the 3 within a year.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's okay

Pros: Looks cool.

Cons: This case isn't very good for cable management. The instructions for setting up the fan controller are not very clear. The power/reset buttons and optical drives being behind a door is annoying. Some of the wires almost did not reach my motherboard. The expansion clips aren't very strong, my video card began to fall out. Luckily there's still the option to screw it in.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Looks nice. Like the adjustable fan speed. All in all, a good case. While the cons list is much longer, I do like the case, just pointing out what I saw wrong with it.

Cons: This case wasn't really designed for cable management in mind, there are very few places to conceal the wiring. I did find some ways. You can hide some cabling under the hard disk bays, there's a small open spot behind the hard disk cages if you take the other panel off (although not a lot of space), and then after that, you're either putting spare cabling in extra drive bays or out in the open. Along the lines of cable management, the hard disks go in backwards, so you see the backs of the hard disks instead of the front, thus you see the cabling. The mounting rails for the drives seem a bit on the cheap side. The gauge for the power supply voltage on the front looks kind of confusing. The drive bay covers on the front were hard to get out. I actually ended up cutting my finger on the metal getting the 3.5" bay cover out. The drives are on the verge of fitting too snug in the bays.

Other Thoughts: The case wasn't for me. I would have chosen something else, but this case does do the job, and I do recommend it as long as the flaws don't bother you.

2 out of 5 eggsI've worked in better cases for less

Pros: Tooless design for drives is the one thing I liked about this case over others.

Two eggs - One for the tooless drive design - One for not being all black (not many options out there that are not all black)

Cons: I've worked in many cases and I'd have to say that I'd rather not work in this one ever again. (this case was not for me, but someone I built it for).
Its not red - it's hot pink (IMO).
The PWR and HD LED Cables are TOO SHORT - barely reach the bottom right of my MoBo).
The back panel is solid across the back making cable management - well - a moot point - can't do it.
The Hard drives are mounted sideways (which I was happy about) except they are backwards - the cable attachments are on the window side, not the back side - meaining I now see cables through the window.
The power and reset button are on the inside of the door.
The clips for the PCI cards are cheap, and dont really work on a vid card like evga 460. Even worse - if you choose to use the hole for the screw, they are not threaded.
Pwr LED very bright.
Display is gimmicky.
Fan control wiring is messy.

Other Thoughts: If I were to recomend a low cost red case I would pick the RAIDMAX Tornado or Perhaps the APEVIA X-DREAMER3-RD.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A very pretty, sturdy case. I really like the color and the design. It was very easy to place every thing in the case, and hook up most of the wires (at least the important ones).

Cons: The front panel audio jacks are staticy and not very loud, and the microphone input is not very good so I don't use them anymore. Some wires on the front panel I could not figure out where they were supposed to go on the motherboard, so the front display doesn't show anything accurate.

My computer sits on the floor, which usually isn't bad, but mine sits on carpet. There's an intake for air in the front on the bottom that gets completely blocked. Because of this, I have to leave the door to the case open (especially in the summer). I had bought a fan for the front also, but I couldn't seem to get at the area I needed to put it in.

Also, one of the plastic tabs on the expansion tabs snapped after two years.

Other Thoughts: I've had this case for over two years now, and it has been pretty good so far. :)

3 out of 5 eggsLooks good but...

Pros: The case is solidly built. It arrived on time in perfect shape. Paint job is very good.

Cons: 1. The frond panel LCD looks normal on pictures. In reality it is very bright, colorful and very kitschy and useless.
2. LCD display is completely unreadable from my seat behind a desk. The case is an upright standing tower and its place is in a designated compartment of the desk some five inches above floor. From my computer chair the reading of the thermal probe is always “188E” degrees. I need to kneel and lower my head to the floor to get the reading.
3. Power LED and HDD LED are very different. Power LED is so bright that it is hard to look at it without risking temporary blindness while the HHD LED is very dim so that it is hardly visible.
4. If you add front panel fan and you have a floppy you are left with one 3.5" bay.
5. When you fit 3.5 hard drives with extensions for 5.25 bays the locks are not very firm.
6. Some wires for panel LEDs and switches are two short to reach motherboard connectors.

Other Thoughts: With all these problems it is too expensive.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Gorgeous case!

Cons: I had read that others recommended putting an extra fan next to the hard drives, but I could not seem to get it mounted there without taking off the front panel, which I could not remove easily so I skipped it.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks Great

Pros: This case looks great. Despite what others have said, I found the fan control very straightforward. Screwless drive holders are nice.

Cons: When I first bought the case, the LCD screen didn't work. Apevia promptly sent me a new one, though I had to pay to send the old one to them. The light on the Apevia logo is no longer working.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase of this case. It fits an ATX board with no problem. It could use better wire management. I would definately reccomend installing the third fan in the front of the case, it helps airflow a good bit.

3 out of 5 eggsLooks great

Pros: This case looks great, and the fan controller and display is a nice addition. Cooling is good when a third fan is installed (there are two that come with it but room for one in the front). The plastic rails for the hard drives and the latches for optical drives work quite well. The case itself is of very sturdy construction.

Cons: When it first came, the display on the front wasn't working. I had to send it back to Apevia, and they replaced it quickly. Also, the led that lights up the Apevia logo on the front of the case broke. The clips for the PCI cards are somewhat fragile, and don't really hold the cards in that well. The standouts are very easily cross-threaded, but a few extras are provided.

Other Thoughts: This is a great case for a budget build that you want to look good. I wouldn't reccomend it for SLI/Crossfire, and many non-stock CPU coolers probably won't fit. If you're willing to put up with a few idiosyncrasies for a good look at a great price, this is the case for you.
