2 out of 5 eggsApevia X-Plorer2

Pros: makes a great case for the ladys.

Cons: Very hard to route the wires to make all look clean and get good air flow, took me hours to get all the wires out of the way was long and hard. I do not recoment this case at all buy something else.

Other Thoughts: This was for a friends build, the case looks good for the ladys but hell for a guy to build to look clean so the ladys think its prety.

4 out of 5 eggspretty darn neat

Pros: I love the build and shape. Bought it of course for the color.
It survived two years of being carried back and forth to school three times a week, but overall has survived 3 years of me. It's pretty sturdy, easy to open up, and looks pretty neato.

Cons: Nothing too terrible, besides the side fan dying- but after 3 years of it being fine. I think this was caused by me being a moron and accidentally messing with it while cleaning/dusting my comp.
It bothers me that the colors of the fan, lights, and the case kinda clash, but that's just my personal thought on it. I wish they stuck on an all pink theme, but a girl can dream.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it's good. I don't regret buying it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Pink

Pros: Purchased this for a build for my Wife for Christmas. She flipped out when UPS dropped it off. She said, quote, "It's so CUTE!".

I was concerned about the durability, because I looked at this as a "gimmicky" case, however upon opening it I was pleasantly surprised! It's solidly constructed and has more room in it than I expected. Really a well build unit.

Cons: If it's a gift for your wife/girlfriend/daughter/whatever, they will spend more time talking about how cute the case is than they do listening to you explain why they should stop calling it the "CPU".

Other Thoughts: Pink is the new black, apparently.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case, some complaints.

Pros: -Makes your girlfriend/wife/daughter happy.

-Mounted an SSD. (See Cons.)

-Both metal and plastic feels very solid and high quality.

-Has good airflow. Large side fan works very well. All fans are relatively quiet.

-Tool-less hard drive bay.

-Appropriate locations for standoffs based on board size are marked inside the case.

Cons: Really just nit-picky things. Looks like most everyone is buying this for someone else, and they probably won't really care about these, but just some notes for the builders:

-Thermostat wire is too short. I got it to sit in optical drive bays and tell me the ambient temperature. Not really practical like that, but I doubt the user will really care.

-Cable management is a nightmare. There's nowhere to put them all.

-Poor quality molex connectors on the fans.

-Expansion slot covers aren't replaceable.

-Holes to screw in PSU didn't quite match with the PSU itself. I could only get three in. The last one was covered by metal. (Yes, it was in the right way.)

-----------------------------IF YOU ARE MOUNTING AN SSD-----------------------
It is not featured, but this case does have a slot for one 2.5" SSD. It's at the very bottom of the removable hard drive cage. If you do use it, make sure you get a SATA power to molex converter and have a flat SATA cable. Since the SSD sits on the bottom (and the middle of) the cage, a SATA power cord and L shaped SATA cable ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT reach it without hitting the bottom of the cage.

Other Thoughts: My girlfriend wanted it because it was pink. Side fan has a red LED. The Apevia and the thermostat light up blue. It actually looks very nice all together.

It fit an Intel micro ATX motherboard, stock Intel heatsink, GTX 650, two HDDs, an optical drive, and one SSD.

I had two bags of different sized screws...ended up with way too many left over. Seems like some people aren't receiving a bag.

2 out of 5 eggsIt IS pink...but

Pros: It is pink, and I am a chick, so I was totally down with buying a pink case.
It is a pretty good size, for a mid size case.
I really liked that the temp display was on the front and very visible.

Cons: Well, for starters the plastic is really cheap. I don't more my computer much and it still has dings in it.
The 200mm fan on the side is absolute garbage. It stopped working within a few months of having it and never pushed much air through to begin with. Also the plastic pieces that hold the fan to the door broke off when I unscrewed it.
No cable management to speak of. Your cables are just shoved together in there.
The bays for the harddrives and such are a pain in the rear to change out.
All in all, I just was not happy with the case. I have given it over a year and I am ready to move on to something much better, more accessible and that has better air flow and cable management.

Other Thoughts: I most likely will not buy another Apevia product. I am not really happy with what I have and I know I can get better for my money.

4 out of 5 eggssnazzy

Pros: good air flow even with stock fans, solid hinge on front,'s pink

Cons: why give it a thermostat wire that isn't long enough to reach the CPU??? Clean cable routing is a bit of a hassle since there is no room behind the MB tray. A pink case with a red LED side fan should have red LEDs for the 'Apevia' name and thermostat backlight.

Other Thoughts: Yeah, i SO bought a pink case for my wife's computer. The thermostat wire didn't have enough length to make it al the way to the cpu/cpu cooler. The secondary drive bay insert would have to be removed to make room for a long video card (MSI 660ti just barely fits with power connected)
1 star off for the thermostat wire, the rest is cosmetic.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent case

Pros: The Black interior and the black screws are a nice touch. All around the case looks good.

Only pink case you can buy without making your own. Very hard to find for some reason.

Cons: Temperature wire isn't long enough to reach the CPU heat sink even though the book says that's an option. I just stuck it to the hard drive.

NOT ENOUGH SCREWS. If i didn't have a bunch lying around from previous builds I would be up a river without a paddle.

If dust is your enemy like mine, be cautious because on the top of the case there is a large area for dust to just fall in.

Ill never know why computer case manufactures fail to realize dust is a big problem for any desktop PC.
