5 out of 5 eggsApevia X-plorer2

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Pros: This case has plenty of space for all my components, looks amazing, and I love the temperature display.

Cons: Cons: Only thing I don't like is the cable management setup but it isn't worth removing an egg for. I wish it had the grommets for easier and cleaner cable management

Other Thoughts: Overall, it is a great case

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't do what it does...

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks good and has a lot of ventilation options.

Cons: The only two things that this case does, i.e. blowing air and telling the temp of the cpu have broken on mine and the One person at Apevia that handles the RMA's is very hard to understand and they make you pay to return the faulty parts regardless of being in warranty.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: i dont know why people are saying this case is to small or theirs no room. i have plenty of room in here and lots of room to expand. 3 good fans and i love the "blow hole" in the top keeps hot air from getting taped.

Cons: the cabals for the front panel are in the way a bit. but zip tie it up and its ok

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: CPU Temp, lights up, compact,3 fans already in it

Cons: The front audio ports give static, as the ones in the back do not. The CPU thermometer is way too short to reach the CPU fan.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Awesome case for a budget gaming PC, although the bottom mounted PSU meant I had to get a 4-pin extender.
I've got the back exhaust set up as the exhaust for my Kuhler 620, and two top mounted 120's. The front 120 and the 200mm both work great, and if I had a modular PSU I would have great airflow.

Cons: Like I said above, I had to buy a 4-pin extender, although I think it was because of the PSU I bought, so it didn't deduct from the case rating.

Other Thoughts: Over all a great case to buy, although make sure your 4-pin is long enough to make it to the top of the case from the bottom.

4 out of 5 eggsnew comp build

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great case visually and still big enough to hold all of the pieces i wanted to use including two semi large graphics cards. I liked the bottom mounted psu mostly because it put my mobo's sata connectors closer to the disk and hard drives.

Cons: as stated above the sata cable for the hard drive was pressed up against the clear side till i replace it with one that had a 90 degree connector which fixed up what was pretty much the only complaint i had

Other Thoughts: the manual isnt very well written i agree best to just google some intall videos for each component if you aren't too sure what you are doing.

3 out of 5 eggsLooks nice

This review is from: APEVIA X-PLORER2 Series X-PLORER2-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case looks beautiful, was not damaged at all when I recieved it, the fans that came with it run fairly quietly, and it has an LED temprature gauge.

Cons: This case suffers from some pretty hefty design flaws. First, I don't think Apevia actually put a motherboard in it to test it.

-They recomend to put the sensor for the temprature gague on the heat sink for the CPU. However, the cable for it is about 4 inches too short to reach it.

-Since it is a bottom-mounted power supply case, you have to be certain that your 4-pin connector can reach from the bottom to the top of a Mid ATX case. (mine was unable to, and they do not supply any extenders to help alleviate the issue).

-Their manual is poorly written. When hooking up the power for the Temprature LED, it tells you to "Look for the 4 pin connector" when, in fact, what you need is the 2 pin to 4 pin ADAPTER. (Also, when e-mailing the company about being unable to find the 4-pin connector for the LED, they said they would send me a picture of the adapter, but never included it.)

Other Thoughts: -Minor complaint, but the front case fan's cord is not unwound, and you will have to remove the case to get it unwound.

-Cable management is a pain in this case. (if your concerned about that). The removable hard-drive caddy is placed in such a position that it smashes my SATA power cables against the clear side of the case.

While the case looks nice, and functions properly once everything is in, the case was just not thought out enough to have a bottom-mounted power supply. I would suggest trying another case in this price range.
