4 out of 5 eggsHard to beat for the money

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is enormous for a mid tower, as others have mentioned it will not fit a 3 fan card but that's a non issue for me. None of my components took up enough space to make cable management an issue, and while the case wasn't designed with that in mind to begin with it's simple enough to work around in.

this is the longest i have had a case, generally i like to change it up about every 10-12 months, but this case runs cool and quieter than any other mid tower ive owned.

Cons: i really only have two complaints with the case. they are both with the glass panel and the first is this: whoever designed this case did not have the foresight to consider the size of a sata cable poking out from an hdd. the end of the pin will come into contact with the panel, and that brings me to my second problem, which is the ease of reconnecting the panel. i go in my case frequently to remove dust and the panel has never gone on smoothly in over a year of ownership.

neither of these really take away from the quality, though. on a side note, were the 200mm fan to die, it doesn't look like it can be replaced, at least not easily.

Other Thoughts: i think for 75 dollars you will be hard-pressed to find a better case for a low to upper mid range system. the case is sleek and enormously easy to move, the cooling was intelligently designed and the overall construction of the case seems sturdy. ive had termaltakes, corsairs and many others, but this takes the cake for quality cases for a mid range system for me.

4 out of 5 eggsadequate at best

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: good air flow, large window, dust filter below power supply, fully loaded with fans.

Cons: flimsy plastic, bend-out expansion slot tabs, poor cable management.

Other Thoughts: this is the lowest quality case I personally have ordered from newegg, but that's not to say it's a bad case. it was ordered for a friend who wanted a low budget build with a little fashion. I had suggested a few different cases including this one. it arrived with a small corner piece of the window broken off but it's behind the panel and not visible. all fans are hard wired with the old Molex 4 pin connectors instead of the smaller 3 pin with the optional adapters so there is a degree of bulkiness to the wiring. the 200mm side fan is a specially designed fan to allow it to be fitted to the window so finding a replacement may prove difficult should it fail, and the expansion slot covers are the punch-out types, which most are not fond of. the cable management space in the back panel area is much to narrow to fit most power supply cables. I would not recommend this for a high powered machine but if you are transferring the guts from an off-the-shelf computer that needs a visual upgrade or better airflow you can't lose with this case.

4 out of 5 eggsSize problems

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks great, lots of fans, front USBs on top are very convenient.

Cons: The side-panel fan really restricts what you can put inside, components on the front (drive slots mostly) aren't removable.. by conventional means.
Be aware that you won't be able to fit any 3-fan GPUs in here, unless you're willing to perform surgery with a metal saw. I managed to screw up these measurements and ended up cutting out part of the drive slots to make room. Large heat sinks will also not fit with the side fan.

Other Thoughts: Works great if you know everything will fit.

3 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Decient size, has lots of fans to keep it all cool, green, nice window.

Cons: fans are kinda loud, not alot of room at top between fans and motherboard, front mesh are really hard to get off, cant control fan speed, no room for liquid cooling or any new heat sinks and top board with audio and what not suck. the audio port has constant fuzz coming out of if.

3 out of 5 eggsgood over all

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nice tool less features and cutouts for wire management. Good LEDs, very bright and my son loves the green

Cons: Cheap fans - The fans are cheap and loud. I will end up replacing all but one of them. Of the four that will need to be replaced, the large side fan is the quietest.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is black and green (my favorite color)! It is spacious, plenty of room to upgrade. It comes with five fans, two of which light up green.

Cons: The two fans on top, are smaller than the spaces they are in, not really that big of a deal to me though.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to purchase the blue one for my son!

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This is one of the biggest mid tower that I have ever seen. It has plenty of room for everything, and the best part is that all of the fans are included. The fans alone would cost all most $60.

Cons: There is not much cable management, so all of your wires and connectors are kind of messy looking. Another problem is that it is not really big enough for liquid cooling . I know It has the port holes for it but the side panel with the window gets in the way of mounting a radiator on the back , but other than those two problems this is an amazing case for the money.

3 out of 5 eggsRead Me :) helpful review

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Is a decent ATX mid tower, enough space for optical drives, hard drives, and some others stuff. I like the black/green theme, I bought the Cooler Master Glacer 240L cpu cooler and mounted it outside the case and sleeved the tubes through the pre drilled holes in the back of the case :)

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsLooks GREAT!

This review is from: APEVIA X-TROOPER Series X-TRP-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Well laid out. Easy access to everything...left and right side! The fans are silent. ALL cabling reached easily enough. Really like the GREEN GLOW.

Cons: Not really cons...read another review to watch the length of your video card, yes it was close but I had already checked out the measurements.
Lastly, to install the AMD FX-9370 Vishera with LIQUID COOLING not only did the rear fan have to be removed but one of the top fans also had to be removed. The side panel fit exactly so it was able to close.

Other Thoughts: Really silent!! Yes I did use liquid cooling but the case fans are quiet.
As for temperatures, NOT an issue even with the 220W processor.
The GREEN GLOW is wicked.
