2 out of 5 eggsMEH

Pros: Quiet
lots of fans

Cons: Front usb ports seem to be really shallow.
no suspension for the drives
bad cable management
almost impossible to read temp unless you are looking directly at it.

Other Thoughts: This is a decent beginner case. it is well built. the case will leave you wanting a better one over time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice look.
Solid build, unlike some reviews mentioned, it is actually made of steel instead of Aluminum.

Cons: Some screws for PCI slot back panel are not quite fit.
Does not provide PCI slot back panel cover.

2 out of 5 eggsAre these ratings rigged

Pros: - plenty of room for case fans
- finish is good in terms of edges and painting
- lots of ventilation openings (if you like that)

Cons: - drive bay layout is poor
- problematic installation in the 5.25" bays after motherboard's in
- non-removable drive cages
- way too shiny with 4 flashing LEDs
- no suspension for the drives
- poorly designed SATA slot at the front

Other Thoughts: Not sure why everybody gives it 5 star. I would rate it 2.5, but to compensate for the overly favorable reviews I gave it 2

Basics are not covered. Many unnecessary features. Too flashy for my liking.

My biggest gripe is with HDD/DVD installation and bay availability. There is only one 2.5-inch "bay" which is really bolting the SSD underneath the 3.5" drive cage. The 3.5" are at 90 degree angle and the connectors must be plugged from the other side which makes it awkward and requires right-angle cables (no room to plug the SATA cables from the main door).

You can only access 2 of the 5.25" bays from the front. The other two are unusable after the motherboard is in. It would have been much better if all 5.25-inch bays had the same plastic pull-out covers like the top 2 (instead of the ugly flippy doors). The drive cages are not removable.

The front SATA makes the drive stick a lot and generally I wouldn't trust the connector. It was hard to plug a drive requiring excessive force.

Power button has stupid design. If you don't change your mobo BIOS you may end up with 4 flashing LEDs when in sleep mode (as was the case with my MSI). It makes it seem the cops are coming. No good place where to grab the case to move it around.

Maybe for $30-40 it is an okay case, but I paid $60 based on the stellar reviews and I regret it. Just too big of a hassle to return.

4 out of 5 eggsPost-Year Review

Pros: Lightweight design, cool looks, a hot swap bay, plenty of fan space, plenty of bays for everything and bottom-loaded PSU port. Holds basic lightweight components very well, and uses HDD rails, making swapping easy. Decent bang for buck.

Cons: Not durable, made of lightweight aluminum, easily put a dent in it with my fist once. Hot swap bay door sticks frequently and won't close on its own. Temperature gauge is almost unreadable due to being deep blue on black, and especially so at an angle. Will not hold heavy GPUs without support. Bad cable management, and the system cables are kind of all over the place. Useless manual. No means of securing thermostat wire to CPU included.

Other Thoughts: Was my case for my first build, and satisfied with it, but it has its issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: This case is a great buy! Has plenty of ventilation and everything fits together easily. The case doesn't feel cheap, and its great to manage cables with. The added in front panel LED is night as well.

Cons: The only con I had found, was the front LED temp gauge is off about 5 degrees. Not worth removing a Neg though. People should only rely on it if they don't have the proper software.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend to a friend for sure! Especially at $50!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for First Build

Pros: Roomy, LCD display is useful and looks sick. A joy to build in. Lots of headers.
Fits up to 17" GPU.

Cons: Comes with only one fan, cables for the headers are a little to short.

Other Thoughts: The power button clicks loudly which I don't really like. Looks awesome with blue led fan and power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case!

Pros: Runs cool with one fan, much cooler than my old case which was a rosewill. All components transferred easily. Well ventilated. Display shows temperature nicely and probe worked great. Will purchase more fans when i upgrade my rig though. If you want a nice case without breaking the bank look no further.

Cons: The F/C switch for the front panel temperature gauge was a little difficult to find. not enough to take off a full egg.

Don't be fooled by the picture, it doesn't swing open. Again not enough to lower the review.

Other Thoughts: I would put 4.5 eggs instead of 5 because not finding the switch was not enough really for a full egg off.

Buy this case! You will not be disappointed. The varients with colored plastic on the side look great too.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: Sturdy, looks amazing with the Apevia Fans i put into it, Lots of room, good airflow, LCD temperature, Cable management.

Very large compared to the pictures.

Cons: a few little things, if you want this case to work make sure your PSU will reach to the motherboard, because i had to order extensions for my PSU to go across the GFX card to the motherboard ETC.

you must use SATA Cables that are at a 90* angle to use the HDD bay i did not know this and now have to order a new SATA cable (cheap but annoying)

almost impossible to put the fan into the front of the case. could not figure it out

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME case!!

Pros: LCD for temp display is fantastic
Plenty of space for fans and drives of all kinds
Easy to work inside of

Cons: Can't replace expansion slots both in the front and the rear. Still not enough to take an egg off for though. Also the case isn't very wide so my Cooler Master 212 EVO just BARELY fit, so be careful. Again, not enough to take an egg off.

Other Thoughts: This will be my 5th build and I was a little hesitant about going with a case that was in the sub $100 range. I'm definitely glad I did. I was very surprised at the build quality of the case. Great job apevia! I purchased 3 apevia 120mm fans along with the case. 1 up front, 1 in the back, and 2 on the top. I'm going for a push/pull setup.
