4 out of 5 eggsLots of Room

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Lots of room for various parts.
Looks cool.

Cons: The drive bays are not removable. Once, you punch out the slots in back, you need to buy replacements. Minor, but it seems like the power button should light up and it doesn't.

Other Thoughts: This case came with a PC I ordered. I've added in extra fans and switched some things. The size of the case makes it easy to work with.
I installed a 200mm fan on the plastic window with rubber screws. That stopped the vibration issue.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: It all together looks to be a pretty decent case, steel is a little to flexible (hence the 4 instead of 5) but with the 20 dollar rebate makes it well worth for what you pay. roomy and looks to have good air flow with plenty of fan slots to add fans to.

Cons: only comes with 1 fan (front), and I wish the steel felt a little stronger. Had a bad experience with a cheap steel case that stripped out its screw holes once...so it makes me leery of feeling this much flex in the casing.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it alot

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Holes for routing wires. PLenty of room. Lots of spots for fans and./or liquid cooling. I also love that its set for 2.5 drives already. Saves a bunch. ANd it looks nice... the power and HDD LED are the circles on the front. Cool.

Cons: You get what you pay for, but its a nice looking for the price with plenty of room for a mid-mini. Would have liked more USB ports up front. Only comes with 2 fans.

Other Thoughts: Great case for a budget build if you like blue. I do. and I can route the cables and make it all look nice. I'm not sure about the fan quality but.... THere is lots of room for liquid cooling (2 loops worth) and fans. I may mod it more but out of the box its nice. Add more blue fans, and its pretty spectacular.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Comes with easy clips for front addons
Plenty of fan room
Both sides can be removed for easy access

Cons: The clear blue on the side is nice but does kind of choose your color for you (great if you like blue though).
Could have used some additional helpers for wire management.

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied Owner

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Feels Solid all around, front is quality thick plastic, actually quite hard to remove (which is good!). Rest of body is steel that feels nice.

Window is slitted for air flow and fit a 200mm fan no problem. Bought 5 fans (had to be blue!) to go with this and installation and placement looks awesome.

Its odd that the Drive bays are facing away from the motherboard but it did nothing to change my love for this case.

If you dig the look then get it, you wont regret it for an instant!

Cons: It took me a minute to figure out how to get access to the front face fan areas (I moved the included fan to the bottom because its clearly cheap and Ill let it waste away blowing air into the ground). You take the other side panel off and they slide right in.

Other Thoughts: Ill edit after a month.

1 out of 5 eggsTye s. I Agee

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: looks fine good price.

Cons: Apevia needs to go back to the drawing board the HDD's I had to turn them around backwards in order to install them. and to hook them up. here is another thing why is one HDD slot on the top and the other three on the bottom. that don't make sense. you need all four HDD together for a RAID hook up.

Other Thoughts: don't just go by the instructions take the back off as well as the front for a better picture when installing components.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Lots of drive mounts, good cable routing options, fan mounting options, nice color.

Cons: 2.5in/SSD bays were slightly crooked, required tweaking to square up.

Other Thoughts: Built a as a work/light game rig for a friend going back to school after the military. Full ATX GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard went in easy and the I/O shield was the easiest to put in out of the last dozen or so builds I've done. Power requirements were low to average so installed a Raidmax 730w modular power supply. No problems routing cables and easily managed a long Powercolor R9-280 video card. Added 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2133, a Pioneer Blu-ray, Samsung EVO 250 SSD, and Toshiba 3TB HD to complete the build.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome buy for the price!

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: -Sturdy and solid enough to handle an heavy gaming set up
-Frontal USB 3.0 x2
-Comes with a frontal 120mm Fan (of ''your'' color's chosing depending on model you pick)
-LOTS of ventilation options
-Looks good enough (personal taste)
-Cheaper price then most high end cases yet does the same job

Cons: -Power and reset buttons needs to be inverted... power button is really small and toward the bottom while reset is 3x the size and right in middle
-Gotta break metal slot plates to insert any graphic card, 3.25 Bay, lacks for changes and the ability to screw plates back in

Manufacturer Response:

You actually have the buttons backward. The small triangular-shaped button at the bottom is reset and the bigger "trapezoid" in the middle is power.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Mid Tower Case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: -Looks Cool
-Has everything necessary with a lot of room to expand upon

Cons: -Doesn't have slot for 80mm fan despite what the description says, but that isn't the fault of the case itself

1 out of 5 eggsPain in the Biscuit!

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Looks great, good price

Cons: Difficult to build and service

Other Thoughts: At first seamed to be a good looking and straight forward case.
MB installed easily all the hardware was there.
Then I went to hook up the hard drives, installing as you would expect "From the MB side" I realized that once installed you cannot close the cover.
The instructions were Not helpful!
after much trial I found that the only way to connect is by flipping the drives backward, you then need to connect power and data cables from the opposite side you physically install the HDD's from.
Even after flipping everything around and wiring from the back side I found you have to use all right angle cables or the back cover wont shut.
When connecting multiple drive's as in a raid configuration, you cannot use all drive slots, as the cables will overlap each other and stick out too far to close the cover.
Because of this backward design, this case took me 3X longer than than any comparable system I have built, and I have built many.
From a service and support perspective, this is going to cost me much grief in the future.
The only upside is that once complete, it makes for a clean looking install as the wire cluster is hidden from the side window.
However it is a "CLUSTER" by having all of the front panel connections and HDD connections running right through such a tight space, I can see this becoming problematic in the future with pinched wires and poor connections.
