This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: looks fine good price.

Cons: Apevia needs to go back to the drawing board the HDD's I had to turn them around backwards in order to install them. and to hook them up. here is another thing why is one HDD slot on the top and the other three on the bottom. that don't make sense. you need all four HDD together for a RAID hook up.

Other Thoughts: don't just go by the instructions take the back off as well as the front for a better picture when installing components.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Lots of drive mounts, good cable routing options, fan mounting options, nice color.

Cons: 2.5in/SSD bays were slightly crooked, required tweaking to square up.

Other Thoughts: Built a as a work/light game rig for a friend going back to school after the military. Full ATX GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard went in easy and the I/O shield was the easiest to put in out of the last dozen or so builds I've done. Power requirements were low to average so installed a Raidmax 730w modular power supply. No problems routing cables and easily managed a long Powercolor R9-280 video card. Added 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2133, a Pioneer Blu-ray, Samsung EVO 250 SSD, and Toshiba 3TB HD to complete the build.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome buy for the price!

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: -Sturdy and solid enough to handle an heavy gaming set up
-Frontal USB 3.0 x2
-Comes with a frontal 120mm Fan (of ''your'' color's chosing depending on model you pick)
-LOTS of ventilation options
-Looks good enough (personal taste)
-Cheaper price then most high end cases yet does the same job

Cons: -Power and reset buttons needs to be inverted... power button is really small and toward the bottom while reset is 3x the size and right in middle
-Gotta break metal slot plates to insert any graphic card, 3.25 Bay, lacks for changes and the ability to screw plates back in

Manufacturer Response:

You actually have the buttons backward. The small triangular-shaped button at the bottom is reset and the bigger "trapezoid" in the middle is power.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Mid Tower Case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: -Looks Cool
-Has everything necessary with a lot of room to expand upon

Cons: -Doesn't have slot for 80mm fan despite what the description says, but that isn't the fault of the case itself

1 out of 5 eggsPain in the Biscuit!

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Looks great, good price

Cons: Difficult to build and service

Other Thoughts: At first seamed to be a good looking and straight forward case.
MB installed easily all the hardware was there.
Then I went to hook up the hard drives, installing as you would expect "From the MB side" I realized that once installed you cannot close the cover.
The instructions were Not helpful!
after much trial I found that the only way to connect is by flipping the drives backward, you then need to connect power and data cables from the opposite side you physically install the HDD's from.
Even after flipping everything around and wiring from the back side I found you have to use all right angle cables or the back cover wont shut.
When connecting multiple drive's as in a raid configuration, you cannot use all drive slots, as the cables will overlap each other and stick out too far to close the cover.
Because of this backward design, this case took me 3X longer than than any comparable system I have built, and I have built many.
From a service and support perspective, this is going to cost me much grief in the future.
The only upside is that once complete, it makes for a clean looking install as the wire cluster is hidden from the side window.
However it is a "CLUSTER" by having all of the front panel connections and HDD connections running right through such a tight space, I can see this becoming problematic in the future with pinched wires and poor connections.

3 out of 5 eggsOk case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: Lots of spots for fans to be mounted.

Cons: The HDD slots have no room for SATA or power cables to be plugged into the drives. Have to be inserted backwards with cables already plugged into drive in order for case side panel to be able to close/attach.

Other Thoughts: Was cheaper than A m a z o n and was the case my wife wanted.

4 out of 5 eggsATX Case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: I like the aesthetic look of the case. It was inexpensive, and has enough room for the X-99 build I'm starting. I enjoy the front facing bay just inside the window panel. The HDD and SSD bay is quick release, so that is a nice feature. The three front facing bay's are also quick release which makes the media drives an easy install. The compartment is large enough for large GPU's to be installed and the case will hold and extended ATX motherboard.

Cons: No cons just yet, I just started the build and will update once I get all the components together.

Other Thoughts: No other thoughts as of yet, just want to finish this high end build.

5 out of 5 eggsA nice case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: this is a very nice case plenty of room for expansion the only thing is it did not have a fan in in the front I contacted new egg first they wanted to do an RMA I stopped them immediately and they sent me the fan to put in in the whole outcome I was pleased with new newegg

Cons: just to give an idea I put the BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A88W 3D FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X, Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes, G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBSR wester digital hard drive a Seagate barracuda harddrive still plenty of room for expansion the usb 3.0 ports works great only with a mobo that supports 3.0 & seams to charge my phone & tablet in half the time as my normal wall outlets

Other Thoughts: recommend as customer

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-BL Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Blue

Pros: This case has a lot of ventilation. It also has plenty of room for fans, cords, etc. Sturdy steel frame.

Cons: The LED's don't have an ON/Off switch, meaning if you leave your computer on at night, you have an annoying blue light shining up your room.

Other Thoughts: USB ports in front are a bit of a tight squeeze. Still a great case for the price!
