2 out of 5 eggsCase is too small

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Looks good, plenty of space to mount cooling fans.

Cons: Fan that comes with Tower does not work.
Cant mount HDDs or SSDs with the SATA cables facing out e.g. tower is facing toward you the MB is facing left, you have to mount the HDDs facing right or there isn't enough space to put the left side panel back on.

Other Thoughts: Colored panel is cheap plastic, to be expected, however being as such it came cracked. Very disappointing.
Poor product I would not recommend anyone get this tower.

Manufacturer Response:

If you need help with the case, you can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

1 out of 5 eggsAlready looking for a new case.

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Roomy, good price, nice looking

Cons: The audio port in the front stopped working on me a few months ago, didn't think it was that big of a deal, at the time. But when I'm trying to use my headphones to block out the noise, it becomes a problem. Also the cable management on the case sucks! The fan on the front is complete garbage. The connector for it was flimsy and broke! So I had to replace that. Sick of the case.. So I'm scraping it. Time for something better. Save your money, look elsewhere. Sorry newegg for the 1 star review but I'm very disappointed!

Other Thoughts: The price reflects the cheapness.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for a cheap case

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Price, roomy, appearance

Cons: Cable management

Other Thoughts: This is a decent case for the price. It has lots of room and has spots for a lot of fans. Some parts of it seem a little flimsy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a starter/beginner

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Came in a bundle pack that I bought for myself for school. Aesthetically speaking its a gorgeous case, I really dig the red coloring and the front design. This was my first time building a pc from the ground up an it gave me lots of room to work with. The front LED's are a nice touch as well, it was nice to see red instead of mostly the blue you see floating around.

Cons: The wire management was not the greatest and I had a bit of trouble getting the rear exhaust in but I don't feel like that deserves an egg drop in score.

Other Thoughts: It goes both ways with the lack of fans, sure it would be nice if it came with fans, but on the other hand this gives you a chance to purchase and experiment with other fans and find the ones that best serve your wants/needs.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Very pretty
Light weight
fits my 970A-UD3P board
Fits my big cool master 212 evo
lots of room for fans
Easy to use expansion slots

Cons: Horrible cable control
Tight fit between videocard/heat sink and side pannel
bit flimsy

Other Thoughts: Its a pretty awesome case, air flow is pretty good and has good room although lack of good cable control. Its nice to look at and works good for less intensive rigs.

3 out of 5 eggsNot well thought out

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: nice looking..
inexpensive.. kid likes it

Cons: cable management, not thought out for amd mobos
newegg fails on this as well for bundling this together with a package and it really just doesn't fit as far as the front panel cables and the power supply they chose fills up the entire bottom of the unit

Other Thoughts: other than the above, this case is all right. i had to buy an extra fan for it,

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: Reply to Manufacturer Response:

Cons: Reply to Manufacturer Response:

Other Thoughts: I don't understand at all what you mean backwards? The hard drive power connectors aren't what's preventing the side panel with the window from going on, it's the tool-less drive rails. The ends hang out toward the window and it hits them when attempting to put it on. The power connectors/sata connectors are facing away from the window as you suggest. I can't figure out any other way of using the rails except from inserting them from the side with the Window

Manufacturer Response:

You are installing the drives correctly. The rails should not be hanging over the edge of the case body like you're saying. We made sure that it would close properly before manufacturing the case and have double-checked and it works fine.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

This review is from: APEVIA X-Sniper X-SNIPER2-RD Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Red

Pros: 1. Red side window
2. Nice front panel design
3. Tool-less drive bay

Cons: 1. Tool-less drive bays install facing the red window ONLY
2. No spares for the drive bay tool-less

Other Thoughts: I actually would not buy this case again. I cannot use the red side panel because they riveted the drive bay to far to the toward it and when closing it the drive bay tool-less attachments hit the red window. Even without the window (comes off easily) I still couldn't get the panel on because of the tool-less attachments hitting it. I actually had the old Source 220 panel which is the exact same kind and switched it out, that works. Now I'm stuck with a side panel that I can't use :-( If they'd only made those drive bay tool-less things shorter I could've used them, I am unsure how to proceed. Also you MUST use them you can't just screw the hard drives in place which kinda left me stuck. I personally think either my drive cage is backwards, or they riveted it to closely to the red side panel.

Manufacturer Response:

The hard drives actually mount backwards in the case. You would have the power connectors facing the right-side panel and not towards the window.
