Who says cutting edge cool has to be expensive? NZXT's Apollo begs to differ. This highly affordable case doesn't need any fancy words to show its edge of cool -- one picture is more than enough. But don’t think this is just another pretty face. With 5 external 5.25" drive bays, a 3.5" external drive bay, and four internal 3.5" drive bays, this case has room for whatever you need of it.
All of the external drives are protected behind a stylish door that is part and parcel of the Apollo's hot looks. Naturally, it includes two USB ports, a Firewire port, and two audio ports located on the right side of the case for easy access. The side panel has the required window with pre mounted 120mm blue LED fan, with another 120mm fan in the rear to make sure the heat from this system is just from its looks.
With all this, what more could be asked of it? How about the durability of steel to protect your investment? This might just be the total package you've been looking for.

Excellent Case!
- Pros: Much bigger than what it appears. Stock fans are effective and very quiet. Screw-less drive bays are amazing. The blue glow is entrancing.
- Cons: I ordered black, but I was sent a silver case. It's no problem, this thing looks great in any color.
- Other Thoughts: Hats off to Newegg for the fast service. And to clarify the problem of the previous poster: there were riser screws included with the case that raise the mobo about 1/4in, which puts the output ports at the right level.
Excellent Case
- Pros: Very easy case to install components into. Plenty of room, well laid out and a tooless design. The tooless PCIe slots held my 7600GT tightly with barely any wiggle room. Fans are fairly quite (makes less noise than the stock E6400 HSF) and there is a spot for a front 120mm fan to cool the HDDs if you want
- Cons: The removable front covers for the drivebays are well forward of where your drives will probably sit which leaves an unsighlty gap between my ROM drive and the drive bay cover below it. Not a huge deal since the front has a cover panel
- Other Thoughts: One of the best cases for the price out there. Very happy with the case even if Newegg shipped me the wrong color

Good case for lower end builds
- Pros: It's a nice looking case -- good for lower end builds.
- Cons: If you have some high end hardware, it will get cramped and hot quick. I upgraded to a GTX 260 and it BARELY fit and it wasn't getting the airflow it should have.
The stock fans are quiet but they don't move much air.
- Other Thoughts: If you're building a low end/mid range computer, this case will be great for you -- it worked for about a year for me before I did some upgrades.
I really like the exterior design of the case -- really highlights your gaming machine.
My first case
- Pros: Great look.
Nice LEDs. Great Size. Easy panel screws.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: The novelty of LEDs has worn off as a first time PC builder.
Personally if I were to go about building a PC I would look into controlling LED intensity. I mean I could just disable the LEDs but it's not worth it. They are just bright when I shut off the lights and try to watch a movie but really if I wanted to I could cover them up. The LED intensity is close to that of a car dashboard in pitch black. I don't know what people are talking about getting fingerprints on the black gloss. Really you shouldn't be touching that area to open up the front panel because there is enough spacing of case and gloss to be able to open up the front door without touching it. Honestly though I have an issue for people who complain about getting fingerprints on things. If you get your fingerprints on things then you should go wash your hands and stop being dirty.
As far as relativity to case size and hardware space i'm not too knowledgeable but you should read item specifications before you buy thi
Decent Case but some cheap plastic
- Pros: - Great overall look, reminds me of a cylon (from BSG)
- Cool and Quiet (two good case fans) - Easy to install drives with toolless design - Plenty of room, decent price.
- Cons: - Cheap plastic "toolless" design on the PCI slots. Easily broke when I went to install my Radeon 5750. I couldn't get the card in without removing them, and they broke and left small holes above the case which I had to tape up to cover. The pieces broke off into microscopic bits that ended up who knows where in my case. None of the screws that came with the case fit the holes that bolt down the card. (removed 2 eggs for this)
- I've spent less money for sturdier cases with toolless designs.
- Other Thoughts: It's a good case to get but be really careful when you are installing PCI (especially graphics cards). I spent over $1100 on components to build a new i7 machine, and it was a bit of a downer to have issues (this was the only thing I had problems with). It's possible there is something in the manual about how to avoid damaging the plastic pieces above the PCI slot, but it's not intuitive if so. I'm slightly regretting that I didn't spend a little more cash for a better case, but that's where I chose to scrimp.
