Who says cutting edge cool has to be expensive? NZXT's Apollo begs to differ. This highly affordable case doesn't need any fancy words to show its edge of cool -- one picture is more than enough. But don’t think this is just another pretty face. With 5 external 5.25" drive bays, a 3.5" external drive bay, and four internal 3.5" drive bays, this case has room for whatever you need of it.

All of the external drives are protected behind a stylish door that is part and parcel of the Apollo's hot looks. Naturally, it includes two USB ports, a Firewire port, and two audio ports located on the right side of the case for easy access. The side panel has the required window with pre mounted 120mm blue LED fan, with another 120mm fan in the rear to make sure the heat from this system is just from its looks.

With all this, what more could be asked of it? How about the durability of steel to protect your investment? This might just be the total package you've been looking for.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case, especially for the price

Pros: Everything in it stays nice and cool, tool-less locking drive bays are great, sturdy construction, and the look of this case is second to none. In my opinion, it is easily one of the best-looking cases Newegg offers, and it ended up being my final choice for *the* best-looking one.

Cons: As mentioned in a review below this one, cable management could definitely be better. It's a relatively minor thing though so the case still rates 5 eggs to me.

Other Thoughts: Again, it cannot be over-stated how good this case looks once it's put together. This is a big, nicely-built case for the money by a company (NZXT) known for well-built cases.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's a solid case with three good vans pre-installed and the blue LEDs are quite sharp. The drive locks are pretty quick installs too.

Cons: The magnetic door looks nice but the weight is weird so you have to hold it open. No big deal just a little annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat form and function.

Pros: Probably the coolest looking case I've owned. It has a great design, and fits most things snuggly. The front panel door uses magnets instead of some mechanical latches, which I found to be a nice touch. I suspect that will make it last quite longer.

Cons: Some of the 3.5" drive bays can end up being slightly obstructed by other hardware such as video cards and RAM. I had to take out some things in order to install those drives. Though it looks possible you might be able to install one of them from the front.

The front fan is optional, but not provided.

None of that detracts from it's overall awesomeness though.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: It is a very sleek case. Has a great curb appeal and is made well. I'm currently using this as the base for my new custom build. Comes with two fans and a hole on the front for a third. The side window that comes with it looks well enough.

Cons: Case can get a bit cramped if you have a bunch of large components. This shouldn't be an issue for the normal build, but if you want to use multiple high end GPUS, you will need to be a pro at wire management. The main think I look at is the NZXT on the side, which is a little bit of overbranding in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: Good, solid case. Has plenty of room for normal builds, but if you want any large components you will need to plan accordingly.

5 out of 5 eggsSexy tower

Pros: It's a really sexy tower. I love the magnetic door on the front. It's pretty, glows blue, and every component I had fit perfectly. It even has 3 fans when I was only expecting two receive two. There's one on the side, in the back below the power supply, and (this is the extra one I didn't expect) one in front of the hard drive slots.

Cons: The only complaint I have about this case is the front USB connections. For whatever reason they refuse to read half of the devices I connect to them. I put the devices in the rear directly into the motherboard and they work fine, but the front two argue with me a lot. They're not unmanageable, but don't count on them.

Other Thoughts: It's a beautiful, highly functional case. It needs slightly better airflow, but that's more of a personal preference if you're using it for gaming. It'll get noisy. Get a nice power supply to better avoid that as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: Great case! Plenty of circulation and the stock fans are really nice. There is plenty of space for my geforce 660 ti (10 inch video card) and the tooless drive bays are amazing! The led fans look great and are very quiet.

Cons: The LED fan design doesn't take into account cable management and has a poor design that can be seen from the side.

The tooless clips on the back to lock your graphics card in DO NOT FIT WITH LARGER CARDS. Simply remove them and use the provided screws.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great case that looks amazing for the price! The circulation is good and my thermals stay good after hours of intense gaming !

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case with some issues over time

Pros: Solid construction, easy to open and maintain. Included fans are quiet. Looks cool.

Cons: Scratches easily. Front usb/audio jacks stopped functioning properly after a year or two. Not a major issue for me because I keep my machine on a shelf where the back is easily reached, but could be an issue for others.

PCI card holder brackets break easily.

Other Thoughts: It's a good case, but there are probably better options out there.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tower

Pros: Nice tower. looks cool, nice fans (quiet).

Best thing about it is the instructions. Really good instructions.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The power button is on the very front of the computer, the very front; not the small circle on the inside of the door.
