Welcome to the next level of cool. NZXT's Zero doesn't need any fancy words to show its edge of cool, one picture is more than enough. But don't think this is just another pretty face. With 5 external 5.25" drive bays, two 3.5" external drive bays, and six internal 3.5" drive bays, this case has room for whatever you need of it. All of the external drives and the USB, Firewire, and audio ports are protected behind a stylish door that is part and parcel of the Zero's hot looks.
The side panel has an awesome smoked window with four pre-mounted 120mm fan, with another two 120mm fan in the rear, one 120mm fan in front, and an 80mm fan on top, to make sure the heat from this system is just from its looks. With all this, what more could you ask for? This is indeed a great total package.

Best Case I've Used
- Pros: Large size makes it easy to work in. Fans are very quiet but deliver outstanding airflow to the system. Mounting drives was a breeze with the supplied screwless rails. Being able to install hard drives in lower cage sideways right in front of intake fan for extra drive cooling. This case has given me the best system temps ever.
- Cons: I really didn't want to put a con in, but like everyone else I am being honest. Top fan has to be removed then reinstalled for large ps, which could have been avoided by putting that fan an inch or so forward. The pci slot mech for holding cards in is great but seems to not work for everyone. It would not lock in my 8800, so I had to use a screw for it. Not a problem there since it has the holes and screws to do it. It just means you will have to screw in any other pci cards too.
- Other Thoughts: The cons I listed are so minor as to not really even matter if you are looking for a great case for an o/c setup. It looks really cool, and lightweight for it's size. It came with everything, including all fans installed. I'm going to get another one to use on the rebuild of my backup system.
Light, roomy, with great cooling
- Pros: The case comes loaded with seven 120mm fans and one top 80mm which provide great airlow without too much noise. Inside, it's pretty roomy and can fix up to six drives (I have four in there and they're not too toasty). One of the big things is that it's nearly completely tool-less from drive rails to PCI/AGP cards. It's very light and has a very snazzy glossy paint job.
- Cons: Minor nitpicks include the fact that the front I/O ports are on the right, not the left or on the front cover. The common complaint about the PSU and top fan was an issue, but you can just unscrew it for the minute it takes to put in the PSU, not a big deal.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, an excellent case. I came from an Antec P180 when I found that it wasn't as good for cooling when you have four or more drives, and if you did add greater cooling, the system got louder than I wanted. The ZERO case is excellent for cooling a drive-heavy system without too much noise. It's not silent, but it's tolerable, definitely not loud. Also, it looks nicer in person than it does in the picture, I don't like cases that are too out there and this is a good balance between plain and stylish.

Very Nice!!
- Pros: Attractive Tower with plenty of space and solid material, very very quiet. I switched over from Thermaltake to this and I am very pleased with my decision.
- Cons: Just the issue with the top case fan is all,but the 2 minutes you spend on it is well worth it.
Lots of room, I like it
- Pros: Has a reset button. Lots of room. Great ventilation and lots of huge fans. Nice looking. All aluminum, which has excellent thermal conductivity.
- Cons: The fans aren't ball bearing fans, but they're still quiet after over a year of being on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Other Thoughts: Can hold full size video cards (like HD 4870) no problem, its slightly tight fit for those extra power cables.
The Black Box
- Pros: The case is laid out beautifully and the drives go in like a dream. The cooling is excellent and quiet.
- Cons: After you put the power supply in, (in this case it was an Antec EA 750) it is impossible to install the 80mm fan on the inside top without doing some filing on the case to elongate the mounting holes and changing the screw type to a 6-32 x 1-1/2 round head machine screw with flat washers lock washers and nuts. Fortunately these are both common and relatively cheap. The top fan outlet should be moved at least a half inch toward the front of the case, an inch would be even better.
