5 out of 5 eggsNever Needed another

Pros: Durable
Monitors multiple system Temperatures
Neon Lights Long Lasting Life
Cool Look
Functions like the day it was brought
Easy to assemble
Versatile for multiple Motherboards and Configs
Added USB slots
Easy Quick remove wall that allows for quick installs

Cons: None that I know of

Other Thoughts: I brought this case in 2008. I haven't need another nor thought of buying another. Getting ready to rebuild my computer and this case functions like the day it was brought. The magnets on the door works flawlessly. All of the lights still function like brand new. I can't say enough good things about it. You point out a better, longer lasting, more versatile, easy assembly, energy efficient tower and I'd laugh at the effort.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome look, functions great!

Pros: This case looks amazing.. with the lights and the fans u get. I love house the HD ping light is the name NEMESIS on the front. I like how u can change the colors of the led lights in the front as well. This case is a little small on the inside and I had to flip the plexiglass around to fit my after-market coolermaster cpu cooler. The LCD screen looks great and works well. They have 3 sensor wires. I put one in between my Harddrives with some tape they give you. The the other one I put in the grill of CPU cooler and the 3rd I put in the grill of my Graphics card. And its pretty accurate on the Temp. Overall its an amazing looking case and it does it's job. Its definitely a head turning and had plenty of room for 4 Harddrives. I love the quick releases for all the hardware. Makes it so easy to take out and put in. I took out the little plastic case they have in the harddrive bay to make more room for harddrives. Also love the dust vents on this, it helps a ton keeping the dust out.

Cons: My first one I got, the LCD went out on it for some unknown reason. Newegg replaced it quickly and the second one was working great and has been for over a year now. Its maybe a little cramped in the case but nothing to really worry about. U have to pop off the front cover to get cd-drives in and out and its gets kinda annoying to open the front each time to put in a cd but its better protected from dust that way as well. The first one I got the front USB's didn't work but it was an easy fix, it just got unplugged a bit. I had to take it apart with a few screws and hook it back up. The front audio and mic ports are kinda reseated back into the case a bit, so it's hard to plug certain headphones and mics into it, cause the case part stops it from going in all the way. Besides this great case!

Other Thoughts: Love this case, got it for it's looks and functions mainly and so glad I did. BTW when I first got this I didn't notice that little silver thing on the font acts as a Power button. You do however have to open the front to hit the reset button.
The lcd screen u can fold down along with the usb/audio front access. Also had all the wiring that I needed for my board and all was easy to hookup. Also the fans, u can speed up or slow down with the lcd if hooked up right. Just be careful when hooking up the wiring. The LCD is really sensitive and u can burn it up by hooking it up wrong. The instructions give this warning as well. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the look.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Well constructed, aluminum frame, awesome looking, LCD screen is awesome.

Cons: Small, expensive for what it is, manual is essentially useless, temperature sensors are useless, paint chips easily.

Other Thoughts: I'm not gonna lie, i bought this case for its looks XD. I was disappointed when i got it because it was rather small. When I say small, I mean it takes a lot of work to fit a HD 5770, let alone and 5850 or 5870. But hey, thats my fault. The case comes with a sys, hdd, and cpu temperature sensors. In theory, thats pretty cool, but the actual functionality of these is questionable. The sensors are hard to install, the given instructions offer little to no help and the temperature readouts are inaccurate (either that or I installed them wrong, lol). The biggest complaint I have about this case is the price. Given my complaints, I dont think its worth $110. However, the aluminum construction is solid and it will last forever. For some it might be worth the investment.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for purchasing a product by NZXT and we do apologize that you find some points in the Nemesis Elite to be disappointing. This model has been around for more than 4 years so it may seem small compared to other present chassis in its price range. If you find some parts of the Nemesis Elite to be difficult or frustrating, such as the sensor installation, please contact and we will provide a help for that.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing

Pros: Very nice looking case. The metal its made of inside seems very good and sturdy. Since it comes with 3 case fans and as a result my video card and CPU temps have dropped by 10 degree C. The little LCD screen on the top tells you the temperatures of the three things the sensors are linked to and lets you control the fan speeds of all the fans inside.
The tool-less design is amazing I might add.

Cons: There are 3 sensors that the case fans are linked to. One for the CPU, hard drives, and one for anything you want(I used my video card). they really aren't that accurate. I have a program that came with my motherboard that tells me my CPU temperature and the sensor was off by at least 10 degrees C at all times. Also the directions aren't very clear on how you should connect things(all the fans connect into one giant 4 pin molex). they have there own way of connecting the fans together and the manual was very lacking.

4 out of 5 eggsoptical drives

Pros: aside

Cons: aside

Other Thoughts: to get the optical drives in without taking apart the entire case... you simply take the back off of the case and remove the faceplate/ case door by pinching a few black tabs. Then you can just slid the drive right in with no problems.

4 out of 5 eggsmessy wires, cramped for 58xx series ATI card

Pros: Looks, looks great. color changing LED on the front panel. LCD fanbus on top with front usb and HD audio.
I like that I can shut the LCD fanbus and turn the front panel connectors around.

Cons: I installed an ATI 5830 in this case and had to bend the wires 90 degrees while someone else held the card and twisted it into the pci slot to get this card to fit.... IT WILL FIT. Just know that it is a VERY tight fit. The fan bus wires are all 3 pin.... I couldn't use it to control my cpu fan on a newer AM3 mobo because the cpu fan uses 4 pins. MESSY wires all over the place because there are no cutouts on the mobo backplate. I had to run everything in plastic conduit with zip ties to make it look half decent, and it still looked messy. The NEMISIS logo on the front of the case is also the HDD LED; however I found the large letters flashing all the time a bit annoying. At low speeds some of the fans cavitate, creating an annoying background warble sound, at medium and high speed there is no annoying sound.
Instructions suck.

Other Thoughts: oh you get a parts container (clear thing in all the pictures in the HDD rack) to keep all of the tooless drive rails and front brive bay plates you pop out.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Plenty of room to work in, and it looks cooler then any case I've ever used for a clients build.

Cons: So many connections make getting it set up with minimal wire tangle is very difficult. The instructions are quite poor for the top panel.

Other Thoughts: Worth getting but I wouldn't say worth the money. It seems half the price is just for the look.

4 out of 5 eggsHad time to review

Pros: The case is very well built. It's pretty big for a mid size case. Cools very well the best mid tower case for that. Yes the paint will chip but if your a person who likes to change hardware alot you are prepared for that I hope. Rubber pads on bottom is a plus. TOOLESS!!!! The expansion slots are TOOLESS also AWSOME!!! Very light but durable.

Cons: The Lcd is kinda week but is fine. My beef is Its seems to be dying on me because it's fading. Thought it was psu but tested that and it was fine but hooked up another and it was doing same thing. Kinda upset because I dont know if NZXT will let me buy just the lcd have to look into that.

Other Thoughts: Wish the inside was already painted but Im going to do that myself The front intake fan was turned the wrong way it was blowing out of the case but I fixed that. I love my case. It is was perfect for my build at the time in 2008 and still one of my top ranked cases.
