Do you want your next computer to stand out from the crowd? Tired of beige boxes? Here's an ATX-compatible mid-sized tower that should do the trick. A large view port lets you see the inner workings, illuminated by the 120mm LED fan on the side. An empty slot lets you select the power supply that's right for you. Seven I/O slots and numerous drive bays give you room for expansion. It can hold large cards like the Nvidia 8800GTX and works with Nvida SLI and ATI Crossfire cards.

Two USB 2.0 front ports, two audio front ports and one e-SATA front port make connections easy to reach. Screwless installation makes for faster installations and faster component swaps, and no tiny screws to get hopelessly lost.

Stylish without being gaudy; could this be your next computer case? Look it over and see for yourself.

  • newegg Transparent Side Panel Window The NZXT Alpha’s fantastic transparent side panel window provides a direct view of the inner system. A 120mm blue LED side fan improves interior airflow and looks simply amazing too.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap Case

Pros: Sleek design.

Cons: Buttons are not labeled and do not make sense. Why would you have the reset button as the larger button???? The power button should always be the larger one. The reset button should be tiny and hard to press... I always press it instead of the dang power button :(

The front bezel of the case is cheap and flimsy and not well vented.
Overall feels like every move you make with it will break it.

You get what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggsright fit

Pros: Right number of bays for my rig. Easy to work on for newbie. I like the plain looks of this case.

Cons: The Antec Kuhler H2O 620 will not fit in this case. The rear fan placement is too close to the PS by about 1/4". Drilling 4 new screw holes is hardly visible and works. The liquid cooler results in a spare fan that I thought I would mount to the front panel, but, as other reviewers note, cannot be squeezed in by the immoveable, riveted drive bays.

Other Thoughts: I am not disappointed in this case, but it took a few extra hours to figure out how get my rig in it.

4 out of 5 eggsquality case

Pros: great case. very sturdy. side window is awesome. decent airflow, with the right fans.

Cons: the fan mount in the front is a tight squeeze; I can't get the fan I have in there out, and I have no idea how I got it in. The front panel I/O ports are on the opposite side of the window, so no matter how I have it set up it is difficult to get to those. I have to remove the mobo to get to the cpu cooler bracket

Other Thoughts: decent cable routing options to increase airflow, but it makes it a little difficult to put the right side panel back on. if my case wasn't dented and dinged up I would probably use it for my next rig.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat, but I think I was unlucky.

Pros: Very easy to mount HDD, motherboard, and CD/DVD Drives because it came with some extremely well-designed screws. Looks aesthetically awesome and has a fan that directly faces the graphics cards and RAM.

Cons: Package came opened, paint defects on the top of the case, the side fan started making a high-pitched buzzing sound after five days, one of the two front USB ports does not work, the sound jack in the front port is defective.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure this company is great. They put a lot of thought into the design to be very user-friendly.

5 out of 5 eggs3+ Years and Counting

Pros: Plenty of space, good quality, looks great.
I've been using this case for going on 4 years now and it has been rock solid from day one. It looks as good as it did when I bought it besides going through 9 different moves, many cross state. The flip covers on the front panel drives are nice because you don't have to have black drives which could save you some money if you find a white or beige drive on sale.

Cons: Nothing that probably couldn't be solved if it bothered me that much but the power cord to the window fan can be an eyesore and tough to get out of the way. Also the front USB won't power anything like an external hard drive but that could be my mobo's fault.

Other Thoughts: Like the description says, this case is good looking with a little flash without being gaudy. You can even place the stock LED fan if you want to be even more understated. It's more expensive now than when I bought it which proves it can stand the test of time.

3 out of 5 eggsFront face issue and no rebate

Pros: Good ventilation, enough room for several HDD's

Cons: Front face is fragile, cracked the clear strip at upper right while removing front bezel, not much room for cable management, while you have a clear side window, that should be an important feature. Never received a rebate.

5 out of 5 eggs**revised review**

Pros: Its got amazing lighting and a glass panal makes the inside a bit of beauty
of course if you want beauty get a better case like the phantom of course and colored interior with lights
gret budget case!

Cons: usb ports on the right side of the case

Other Thoughts: I had an original view 1 egg about NZXT's customer service. Well they emailed me and called me back since and we have the issue resolved and I want to thank for all of their hard work to fulfill the gaming markets needs. I ended up buying a phantom in return and will get the upgrades encouraging others to buy their phantom or that newer version I saw online coming out soon. I will definitely get a glass door and lights for that.

First it was hard to get a response as they weren't sure where usps put it to but its letter mail it gets lost

they got it taken care of shortly. Ryan was the man in the case and his team. 100% solved

5 out of 5 eggsLong Term

Pros: I've been using this case for a dual boot hackintosh for 3 years now. I've always like NZXT cases and this one has been great to me. I've filled every bay now with HDDs and Burners and haven't had any overeating problems. Easily accomedates a GTS 250 with double slot cooler. Not nearly as heavy as my NZXT Nemesis case.

Cons: I couldn't get the ESATA on the front to work, but I believe this is something weird with my Mobo as another ESATA port I had plugged direct into the board also didn't work. The toolless holders for CDROMS and FDDs can break easily, however the HDD ones are robust.

Other Thoughts: I've moved the case around 15 times back and forth over 60 miles in a car, and the only thing that's really worse for wear is the acrylic side panel, which is starting to pop out. Doesn't trap as much dust as a lot of my friends other cases, even though I have way more HDD's than them.

Pros: The case was cheap

Cons: The customer service is ridiculous! 6 man company 3 husbands and 3 wifes! the 3 wifes do the accounting. I called them and they keep telling me VERY RUDE that the rebate is processing and telling me I have no need to worry and chill! I ordered this is March still till august 27 I still haven't received anything! I called them over 3 times now and this is a scam alert!!!! buyers beaware of NZXT rebates and CS.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Very easy to wide wires and install all the components you will ever need for a Gaming build. 5 HD bays is fantastic for massive storage or secure raid. I'm using it for both.

Cons: Not quite enough room for two video cards. They could fit but no room for air under the bottom card. Wires would be against the card. Had to take off side case fan to install COOLERMASTER Hyper 212.

Other Thoughts: Would still buy again.
