1 out of 5 eggsBroken in box

Pros: Nice sleek glossy black look, goes great with my monitor and keyboard :D

Cons: Confusing to open, it doesn't say anywhere in the manual you need to take off the back two screws... maybe I am just an idiot, but I felt as if they could have helped out with that a little.

Other Thoughts: The snaps on the front end all broke, I am not the only one to have this problem it seems. However, newegg is helping me out with an RMA and I'll have a new one within a week. This design just seems illogical though... the snaps seem a bit weak.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: great case a lot of fans and, keeps the system cool, a lot of room and set up is good

Cons: front cover panel had broken brackets the hold the cover to the case out of the box and were inside the case rattling around when i pulled it out for the money the quality should be higher, would be 4 or even 5 but the fact the clips are broken and the plastic has not even been taken off is just not what i expected

Other Thoughts: great case to buy i just wish the front cover was better secured and was not broken

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointing for an NZXT case

Pros: - Looks fantastic.
- Solid, sturdy, well-built (like all NZXT's).
- Quiet fans, decent airflow (see cons).
- Great value (and I paid $20 more than it's selling for as I write this).
- Did I mention looks fantastic?

Cons: - Surprisingly cramped. Do not be fooled by the exterior dimensions, which include the facade and back. If you have lots of drives (and lots of cables), things get tight, and that affects airflow.
- The side-panel latch is pointless, let alone the lock on the latch; you can't open the panel without removing the screws, and the screws can't be left off because they hold the back panel on. (This arrangement also prevents the use of thumb screws.)
- Absolutely no provision for cable management. Seriously, there is not even any access to the rear of the HDD cage, and with a top-mounted P/S, out-of-sight cabling is not a possibility.
- Okay, I knew this when I bought it, but why on earth does NZXT paint the interior black on cases with a dark-tinted window or even no window at all, but leave the plain gray metal in a case with a clear window?

The last two points cost this case two eggs. You buy this case for its LOOKS, and the unpainted interior and lack of cable mgt really hurt ther

Other Thoughts: There are also a couple of things that could have been done better. Not really cons, but for a few more bucks, NZXT could have really improved this one. Besides a black interior, perhaps a lock on the front panel (instead of the pointless side latch) with the power switch inside. And the temperature readout is cute, but for just a few more bucks a USB full-function LCD panel would have been better. Cut-outs for back access to HDDs and the rear of the CPU heatsink would have helped. Also, the top-mounted P/S lowered the MB to where my Xigmatek Gaia literally presses against the side fan (it had room in my 1.2" narrower M59). The design could have been much better, it seems like NZXT took a budget case and tacked on the facade. (Incidentally, I modded the case to include all these things, and it didn't cost much; I would have paid a few more bucks if NZXT had built them in.)

Specs: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P, Phenom-IIx4, 16 GB DDR3 1600, Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5750 1GB, 5 HDD, 2 x D

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: -Sleek design
-Great airflow
-Huge side window
-a lot of expansion slots
-plenty of space for big heatsinks and water-cooling
-case and fans are EXTREMELY quiet
-Blue LED's make it look amazing
-I/O ports on the side of the case

Cons: -Its cable management is pretty bad. The case doesn't have any holes on its back plate to feed cables through. You have to fit the wires all the way around the case to avoid messy wiring which is pretty important considering this case's massive side window.

Other Thoughts: The overall look of the case is just amazing. Looks much better in person.

4 out of 5 eggsBrilliant

Pros: -Really sturdy
-great window
-cool design
-copious amounts of space
-more than enough fans
-the door actually seems sturdy
-the temperature gauge is a plus

Cons: -not all fans are filtered (as it implies in the description)
-figuring out how to open was difficult (didn't know there were screws securing the side panel, just thought the lock secured it)
-built in USB ports are on the opposite side of the case than the window (the complete opposite side of how my computer is set up)
-at first the "screwless" installation was difficult to figure out, and most of the installation process was taken up by figuring out how to install my HDD, DVD drive, etc.
-the screwless installation isn't compatable with my card reader (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820223113), or if it is, I couldn't figure out how to get it to work (it's jerry-rigged to work now).

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a vast improvement from my previous case. I probably won't be taking advantage of the pre-drilled holes for water cooling, but that's not a negative thing. This case is massive though. It fits everything with room to spare. I was half expecting to get the red color fans though, but blue is good, and at least they all match. Everything about this case is sleek and stylish, I love it.

The only negative things are really the different drive screwless installations. Their instruction manual provided no way of figuring out how to install the drives, and after I installed the drives, their set up isn't even compatable with my card reader when the same card reader fit in the same size driver holder in my older case, one which used the old fashioned screw in method (hence the one egg off).

If you're just working with disk drives and hard drives, this case is awesome! Otherwise be careful about the sizes of your drives and how they fit in the case.

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT case

Pros: I love the screwless way you can add hard drives and optical drives as wel. The red fans make it look awesome

Cons: The only negative feature I found is I wish the top mounted fan was bigger

Other Thoughts: I highley reccomend this case as it is so easy to update and very user friendly

4 out of 5 eggsRe-review after "RMA'd"

Pros: - Very spacious case
- Case fans are audible but very quiet
- decent cable management
- LCD temperature display a great addition
-Screwless design very easy if you know what you're doing

Cons: - Top fan could be bigger
- Front panel audio/USB ports on the right side of the case (When placing the case on it's side it, a forgotten flash drive could break)
- Front panel audio wiring is really short, but I don't really need the front panel audio
- Screwless design for the back panel not that great when it comes to two-slot video cards (comes with screws to secure though)
- Case's plastic feet feel like they're ready to snap any second when trying to slide the case across a hard-wood floor
- No motherboard speaker
- space for cable management could be wider (or I just have thick cables)

Other Thoughts: All in all, the cons are mostly little things that don't affect my overall love for this case. The instructions were not very descriptive but nothing a little brain power couldn't figure out (except when I was trying to put the tool-less rails in the opposite direction... whoops). This is my first time building a computer and this case was perfect for me. I will definitely be buying from NZXT again in the future.

1 out of 5 eggsRMA'd

Pros: -Looks really nice
-Lots of internal space
-Liked the addition of the temperature display

Cons: Arrived damaged. All the plastic tips that kept the front panel on were snapped off and the panel was only hanging on by the wires hooked up to the external USB ports. This may have happened during shipping.

Other Thoughts: Newegg gladly offered to RMA the product with a shipment label AND sending the replacement with a different shipping company. This is my first RMA so we'll see how this plays out with the replacement case.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for choosing NZXT. We apologize for this inconvenience as we would like to hear back from you regarding about this issue. Please contact our support center at service@nzxt.com or contact us directly at 626.228.1150 We hope to hear back from you soon.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very nice looking case. Lots of room for cpu cooler. Nice blue glow.

Cons: The fans only have the molex connectors, so if your fan controller uses the little 3 pin connectors your outa luck. Not that big a deal as it turns out because the fans are very quite on their own.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why they put a 80mm fan on the top, would have liked to see a 120 at least, but not a deal breaker.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: -Nice Glossy Finish
-Looks Sharp
-Blue LED fans are very quiet!
-Plenty of room for components

Cons: -Small Fan on Top. It should be at least a 140mm Fan, its only 80mm D:

Other Thoughts: Part of an AMD build for a customer. She liked it a lot. NZXT did a good job for the price!
