5 out of 5 eggssome of you are amazing lol

Pros: 1. hard drive and optical drive thumbscrews are wrapped in plastic...so no unsightly paint being scratched off when you move stuff around over time.
2. solid build quiality...it isnt flimsy as some others have suggested...i laughed when i read that in other reviews
3. good cable management...you guys saying there isnt any REALLY shouldnt be building computers if you cant even comprehend a computer case.
4. hard drive cage faces the back...so all cables are hidden away nicely when the side panel is taken off
5. power supply on bottom and with its own filter...so heat from the rest of the computer isnt filtered out through the power supply warming it up.

Cons: went from a 40$ case to a 90$ case with decent silent fans installed? not really a con but to be expected!

Other Thoughts: has plenty of room....if you complaining your super long video card is almost touching your hard drive cage...so what? you need 4 inches of gap for it to function properly?

the ppl complaining about the hard drive and optical drive mounting...did you not use the supplied thumbscrews? hah. wow!

you do NOT need to take off the front bezel to install an optical drive....some of you really shouldnt be allowed near an open computer! (and it comes off easily if the need should arise.......)

no problems with front audio or usb ports as others have stated...with multiple hours of everyday use with all the ports. either i got lucky or ppl dont treat their stuff with respect and then wonder why it falls apart (imagine that).

put 2 x 140mm fans up top and 2 x 120mm fans on the side with no clearance issues others have spoken of.

I used this case in 2 different builds and both are still standing strong after well over a year of everyday use with absolutely no problems.

i suppose ppl wanna pay $30 for a case and then whine and complain because it doesnt compete with a $250 case. its a great case and ill use it again

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Price, But Flaws are to be Expected

Pros: Low price
Unique look
Good airflow
Aesthetically appealing paint job
Battery supply installs on the bottom of the case

Cons: Plastic screwheads
Mediocre cable routing
Poorly designed hdd rack
No USB 3.0 front port

Other Thoughts: The buyer should know that the hdd rack accepts the drives with the cables facing the side the mobo mounts on, and the drive is liable to fly out of its groove and onto the floor if you try to connect the cables without supporting the front end of the drive with your hand. There are no screw holes to better secure the drives unfortunately.

Also, my blue LED died after 6 months. This is kind of sad for me because now my case is just an inanimate black box, where before I could pretend the blue light was some indication of a sentient being. Oh well!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: Beats anything I have found for the price
Plenty of room for fans (I have 4 installed now) could possibly squeeze 6 depending on your graphics card(size)
Cool looking design

Cons: On the heavy side. But who cares I don't think desktops were meant to be carried around.
USB, Audio, and mic imput slots not in place very well. Push in a little bit when plugging something in.

Other Thoughts: This is a good buy for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to build their own PC(what I did) or to upgrade up from their current tower.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: It has plenty of room, big enough for 12inch graphics cards, has a sata port in the front...its just amazing.

Cons: It doesn't have USB 3.0 in the front.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but front panel

Pros: This case is very good. The quality is good. Great air flow and cable management.

Cons: The front USB ports doesn't side in.

4 out of 5 eggsReasonable limitations

Pros: Spacious interior. Lots of included thumbscrews; those and other screws in individually labeled bags. Tool-free mounts for 3.5" drives. Re-usable slot-covers. Some cable management; see con. Fairly sturdy for a budget case. Included fan is quiet; has molex and 3-pin connectors. Front panel connector cables long enough. Plenty of additional fan mounts.

Cons: No included piezo. Very limited room for cables behind mobo; the main cable MUST be fitted into a specific channel to allow the side to close. No hole to route CPU power cable behind mobo. No noise insulation on drive mounts or PSU. HDD Activity LED almost too dim to see. Any interior noise readily gets out. No 2.5" mount points. No USB 3.0.

Other Thoughts: At twice the price, the shortcomings of this case would knock at least one more egg off, but for the current price it's a good case. I don't think there is enough cable management space for PCIe power cables, but it's enough for low power systems that don't have power-hungry graphics cards.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsThe poor student's case.

Pros: Cable routing behind the motherboard.
Power supply secured at bottom.
Plenty of room for storage drives.
Nice, grainy surface finish.

Cons: Backwards-facing hard drive cages that are not secured by screws.
Somewhat thin material.
Thinness and holes in the case give it an open feel.
Plastic screws provided.
2.0 USB on the front panel.

Other Thoughts: I like the look of this case. I think the compromise of some things is made up by the excellent price of the product.

3 out of 5 eggsGot What I Paid For

Pros: Really nice space on the inside, enough for a full sized Motherboard and GPU to be installed and the side mounted Hard Drive bays make it easy to add more drives or swap any out.

Cons: Front audio ports have a slight feedback that just gets on my nerves after a while so I have to plug my headset into the Mobo's on-board audio. My motherboard sits in at a slight slant which makes it hard utilize my USB 3.0 ports

Other Thoughts: I definitely got what I paid for it's and excellent case in terms of looks and space for the price but I had to take off 2 eggs for the motherboard slant and the faulty front audio ports.

Manufacturer Response:

I just wanted to thank you for being a customer of NZXT.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the Money

Pros: Cheap. Better than most cheap cases. Good cord management. Lots of space

Cons: The front audio port never worked for me. I might have just wired something wrong but so far, when I plug headphones in all the sound locates to the left. Also front panel is a bit flimsy but not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Good for money, I used this in my $50 build. Only get this if you plan on upgrading, I know I am.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: -Great Space! Fit my recent upgrades of massive 2 gig GPUs, etc.!
-Rooms for upgrades! 2 spots for 2 side case fans
-Makes cable management not as much a hassle
-Looks cool! (in my opinion)
-Bought the NZXT Mesh fan controller so you can control all your fans and it blends in with the rest of the case :)
-Side window if you have goodness glowing inside

Cons: -front part of the case that juts out is cheaply made, 2 bottom brackets already broken some how, it's not a big deal.. as long as it doesn't get worse.
-Big! (although I didn't knock an egg off for this of course)

Other Thoughts: Great case if you are strapped on money! BUT you also get what you pay for, not to knock off the case but if you are really looking for a sturdy rig in the future fork out an extra $50 at least for a solid shell. I recommend NZXT cases either way.
