3 out of 5 eggsdecent for price but front panel didn't last.

Pros: Spacious (quite large) and easy to build in. I loved the case initially, one of the easiest I've worked with, and I got it at a great price. However, long-term, there's some truth to you get what you pay for ....

Cons: The downside is, although I wouldn't say it seems cheaply made per se, the front USB panels and power and reset buttons are fragile and break/stop functioning before very long. After the initial build my system is usually pretty stationary so the failure of these things was frustrating.

Other Thoughts: At a bargain price this is a good case for a little while. But it's not well-made enough -- particularly in terms of the front panel wiring and ports -- to hold out for the long-term.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: - Thumbscrews!
- Hole under motherboard for easy mounting of CPU cooler
- More solid than comparable cases
- Looks way better than comparable cases
- Lots of fan slots if needed
- Cable tie downs

Cons: - Not as solid, missing nice features when compared to more expensive cases (duh)

Other Thoughts: Bought one for a budget build. Liked it so much I bought another for my next budget build. That's pretty rare for a budget case.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Budget Case

Pros: Trusted Brand
Build Quality
Cable Tie Down Noches
Roomy enough for high end hardware

Cons: No cutout for cpu power cord.
No rubber grommets on motherboard tray cutouts.
Space behind the motherboard for cable management is slim.
Not enough dust filters.
HDD cages are not removable.

Other Thoughts: I used this case for a budget build for a customer. When looking for a case in this price bracket, I knew anything from NZXT would at least be decent and this was no exception. The material is nice quality. It feels like it should last though several builds.

First, the front panel comes off with the right amount of pressure and clicks back into place easily. Cheap cases typically feel like they're going to break when you remove the front panel. This one doesn't.

Both side panels have thumb screws holding them in place and their is an accessory box full of them. It's a nice touch. They're even used to hold your SATA devices in place. NZXT also uses side rails that snap onto the HDD before sliding in the cage. It holds the HDD secure and is tool-less, but I have seen better HDD sleds before. This works fine for this price. The HDDs are reversed and all cabling goes through the back panel, I did appreciate that. It gives the case a cleaner look.

The backside of the motherboard tray is slim. Don't expect a lot of room, but their are plenty of tie down notches for your cabling. You will probably have to use some force to get the side panel to fit in place and get the cables to lie flat. It's manageable and I fit all the psu power cables back there without too much of a headache.

A minor complaint I have is the lack or rubber or foam grommets on the cutouts for routing your wiring. It would have been just a few pennies of foam or rubber, but would protect the cables and give a cleaner look.

A major complaint I have is the lack of any cutouts at the top of the motherboard tray for wiring. I was able to get creative and route the cpu power cable though the tray cutout intended for accessing the heat sink. The motherboard is squishing it a bit, but it looks fine and is a much better option than running it across the entire board, gpu, and cpu. You take the time to meticulously route each cable, just to find there is not hole for the cpu power cord. If it wasn't for a customer, I would have cut or drilled a hole, there is plenty of room to do so. I'm assuming this was an oversight by NZXT.

Lastly, there is plenty of room for additional fans, but only the psu gets a serviceable dust filter. There aren't any dedicated ssd mounts either, which means you will need to use a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter or HDD sled.

If you insist on a budget case, at least stick to one of the top brands like NZXT. This case is missing some of the nicer features, but having a solid build quality is more important. The Gamma is also an outdated case. I was building using some of the customers existing hardware and the motherboard didn't support USB 3.0, therefore I wanted a case without front panel usb 3.0. It would have been too difficult to explain why two front usb ports don't work otherwise.

If you want a budget case, this isn't bad. If you're building using a micro atx board, the Fractal Core 1000 is a better choice in this price

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Just opened the Case and I like it a lot, upgrading from an an Azza Orion case for a total new build and I got it for a great sale price, especially considering all the good features.
-pci plates on the back are mesh, awesome
-case is big, could fit my old 250 gts I'm sure
-price
-I like the look in person better
-plenty of hardware included

Cons: -horrible instructions included, I think I'll be fine though
-sides of the case are super thin
-slight design flaw on the front bezel letting dust past the front filter
-front USB ports are 2.0 this is not really a con I'm fine having those on the rear.

Other Thoughts: I plan to stuff a 212 evo and 4 more fans into the case, front intake 120mm, bottom side fan for intake and 2 exhausts on the top all 120mm. I have a small gfx card (Evga 650 ti 1gb) and after doing some research I have no worries about space. I will update this review after the build. This case is great at this price, I wouldn't dock an egg for the few cons

4 out of 5 eggsLots of fans but power supply bumps against motherboard

Pros: One 120mm rear fan (included)
One 120mm front fan mount (screws included)
Two 120mm side fan mounts
Two 140mm top fan mounts

Cons: The power supply is bottom-mounted, which is nice but it is right next to the motherboard, so a double-slot video card will not fit in the bottom PCIe slot and a single-slot video card will not get good cooling.

Does not include fan screws except for the front fan which requires long screws.

5 out of 5 eggsMy favorite case ever.

Pros: This case is dirt cheap and has SO. MANY. FAN. MOUNTING. PORTS.
This thing has room for everything your heart can desire in a budget build. It helped me do my under $300 build with plenty of money to spare on parts that truly matter.

Cons: The metal case has some mounting screws that are off by a fraction which can make the metal have some weird warping shapes when you try to put the sides back on after screwing on a lot of stuff, but if you push in the two top hooks with your hands and the two bottom with your feet you can slide in the sides pretty easily.

Other Thoughts: I have had it for 2 months and I am still finding more spots for fans, There is even a hidden spot for a HDD fan in the front of the case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed

Pros: Affordable
Spacious
Not your average rectangular cheapo case

Cons: Front audio and USB ports are a bit wiggly

Other Thoughts: All in all I'm extremely impressed with what I got. I got this case to put together a cheap computer out of old parts I had lai\ying around. when I pulled it out of the box It felt firm, didn't feel very cheap at all. And I must admit the front didn't look half bad. Everything fit together firmly, front blue LED looked very nice. I would definetly pick this up again!

4 out of 5 eggsLove it. Small Mishap

Pros: Big. Spacious. Cool design. Simple to deal with.

Cons: Only one. Locks that lock the front cover in are plastic which is probably why one snapped on me. Sent an email to company and waiting to see what they say.

Other Thoughts: Love the case and cant wait to finish building my rig with it. Def buy it you'll love it!

3 out of 5 eggsGood Enough Case

Pros: Decent Looks
Cheap (sometimes....)
good ventilation
Nice size

Cons: Cable Management
Front Panel (static in audio, USB 2.0 instead of 3.0, and I didn't find eSata very useful.)

Other Thoughts: I paid $25 for this case and felt that at that price, it was a pretty good deal. For $50, it starts to really come up short of other cases in its price range. Cable management options are limited on this case (I couldn't snake the 8 pin CPU connector behind the back panel, though with cable extension, I probably could have rigged something up.) The front panel audio had static coming through it (interference from mouse/keyboard, so I could basically forget about using headphones hooked up through it.) And no USB 3.0 is a bit of a drag too.
Overall, this is a decent case with no 'deal-breaking' flaws, but nothing to rave about either. At the current price, however, you can actually probably do better.
