3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well ventilated, nice design and size

Cons: The front panel USB and audio is flimsy. From the moment i got it the front audio jack had a faint ringing/buzzing noise. Finally crapped out entirley after about a year

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CASE

Pros: Perfect size for a server. Quality is good. I used this case when I first started building and liked it. It is outdated for many applications ,but for a server it is great. Cable management is tight , but doable. A modular PSU is needed. This case is very basic and has a smaller footprint that I wanted.

Cons: Cable management is tight, but can be done.

Other Thoughts: ATX motherboard, 650 w modular PSU, 1 optical drive, 3 hdd disc drive rack. 1 hot swap bay, 6 fans. I have 4 OS on this build and can go from one OS to another in seconds. This case is a real workhorse.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Hole for easy heatsink retention plate removal
Plenty of drive bays(5.25" and 3.5")
Wire management holes
Quick swap HDD mounts
Looks pretty nice
Supports six fans
10.5" GPU support
Really cheap (30 bucks!)

Cons: The stylish front bezel "handles" develop cracks after taking it off a few times, but they only develop where the plastic was molded. One of the 3.5" bays are taken up by the front panel component wires (trying to loop them around causes the bezel to mount improperly, and puts stress on the connectors and solder points), but since there are another six bays, it's not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case to upgrade from a Micro-ATX build that got too cramped after adding upgrades. This case gave me the room for a bigger graphics card, and a bigger PSU. A good idea is to buy a four pack of 120mm fans (with a fan controller or a 3-pin to 4 pin molex adapter) to fill the available spaces in the case.

1 out of 5 eggsHORRIBLE customer service

Pros: For an entry level case, it is relatively well made. Goes together nicely and has all components necessary

Cons: Power supply failed after one month. Contacted mfg via email, no response. Finally contacted via phone and they gave preauthorization code and special website to "register for an RMA number." Went to website, entered information, serial number is not accepted because it isn't the correct format. Format is XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Serial number is XXXXXXXXXX. Can't get RMA Number. MFG won't answer phone, and live chat is never online.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We're sorry to hear about your difficulties with the power supply. However, the review you have left is for a Gamma case, which does not readily come with a power supply. Please make sure that the serial number you entered is from the case, or that you are seeking warranty support for NZXT products. If you need direct assistance, our support team is available online for Live Chat between the hours of 9:30-5:00pm PST M-F at http://nzxt.com/support/. Please let us know how we can help.

Sincerely,
NZXT. Support

5 out of 5 eggsI have three of these

Pros: Cheap. Looks great. Lots of room. Comes with a large and quiet fan. P/S bottom mounted. Excellent disk mount on rails and comes with lots of rails. I have 6 SATA drives in mine. Lots of air flow through the mesh side and top.

Cons: No speaker so motherboard issues rely on the on board signals. USB two ports up front. Front headphone jack can get finicky after a few years.

Other Thoughts: I find these very convenient and inexpensive. They hit a sweet spot for me with looks, cost and functionality. I have no real complaints and I hope they stick around for my next build.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Poor Customer Service

Pros: I have been a system builder for nearly 20 years. In all that time I have never had such poor service from a company like I have experienced from NZXT. I bought this case to built a new machine for a customer. It arrived not finished. I immediately contacted the manufacturer (NZXT) and described the problem. I suggested that they send me the part and I would finish building the case. After 3 weeks they got back to me and said they would send me the part. It has now been almost 3 months and still no part. They don't answer emails. So today, growing tired of messing with these clowns, I threw their case into the trash.

I don't wish to do any further business with this terrible company. There are plenty of other companies out there who understand what good customer service is. This is no reflection on Newegg as they did their usual outstanding job.

Cons: Poor, poor customer service. Skip them.
If I could give them less than 1 Egg, I would.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We're terribly sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered in reaching out to our Support team. Please note that we are available via Live Chat and over the phone as well (1-800-228-9395), on our support page at URL: http://nzxt.com/support/ from 9:30-5:00pm PST M-F for any questions you may have. 3 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: Cheap and plenty of ventilation.

Unique look

Light wieght

Pegs on bottom are nice and tall leaving good room under bottom of the case.

Cons: Oh my where to start?

Front panel buttons and ports very flimsy not sure how long they will last.

Dust screen on front bottom of the panel serves no purpose at all due to the giant gaps on the sides. I am trying to figure out who thought this was a good idea?

Box and Foam padding were undamaged so the back corner of the case that was crunched really good but case is still useable tells me they damaged this thing well before packaging so that's just poor QC right there.

Installing a front fan is darn near impossible unless MacGyver is your cousin and then be very careful removing the front panel as its very cheap and flimsy.

Hard to believe NZXT put their name on this.

Other Thoughts: I have built one of my sons last two pc's using NZXT cases that he picked out and I was impressed at how sturdy and decent they were but those were the 70 dollar on up cases and well worth it. I thought I would take a chance on this being I only paid 36 bucks and free shipping and putting an older SLI rig in this one. Would I trust my new expensive gamer setup in this case? Absolutely not as you can find plenty of budget cases out there that will make you feel way more assured and better quality. I sort of feel guilty giving it 3 eggs but it was cheap and serves its purpose for now but when you package an already damaged case to dump off to customers that's just lousy business and I hope NZXT does not make a habit of this because in the past I was impressed at their higher end cases.

3 out of 5 eggsdecent for price but front panel didn't last.

Pros: Spacious (quite large) and easy to build in. I loved the case initially, one of the easiest I've worked with, and I got it at a great price. However, long-term, there's some truth to you get what you pay for ....

Cons: The downside is, although I wouldn't say it seems cheaply made per se, the front USB panels and power and reset buttons are fragile and break/stop functioning before very long. After the initial build my system is usually pretty stationary so the failure of these things was frustrating.

Other Thoughts: At a bargain price this is a good case for a little while. But it's not well-made enough -- particularly in terms of the front panel wiring and ports -- to hold out for the long-term.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: - Thumbscrews!
- Hole under motherboard for easy mounting of CPU cooler
- More solid than comparable cases
- Looks way better than comparable cases
- Lots of fan slots if needed
- Cable tie downs

Cons: - Not as solid, missing nice features when compared to more expensive cases (duh)

Other Thoughts: Bought one for a budget build. Liked it so much I bought another for my next budget build. That's pretty rare for a budget case.
