5 out of 5 eggsRoomie

Pros: Big and Roomie.
Has 5 fan controls (with lights) on top of the case which can control fan speeds marginally. (I just leave them on full).
Good air flow for the case.
Side 200MM fan won't fit if you have a Tower Cooler on CPU.
Plastic panels come off easy enough for builds.

Cons: Side 200MM fan won't fit if you have a Tower Cooler on CPU.
Red Paint on some metal areas may flake off with extended opening/flexing so be mindful of that on Mobo & cards.
The 200MM top fan light is blue vice red, the light switch on rear of case for that light is flimsy.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but

Pros: A nice deep red, not an orange trying to be red. Very roomy case. I've been satisfied with all my NZXT cases, exception for the two aspects discussed under cons.

Cons: NZXT needs to get someone who can develop instructions which are understandable. Sorry guys, but a drawing does not substitute for actual words. Trying to figure out how to connect the fans so that they work was not possible based upon the drawings.

Like others have mentioned. The hard drive trays are a less than optimal design. I recently purchased a BitFenix case which had great hard drive trays which expanded very easily.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice, few caveats

Pros: Big and spacious;
Cable management;
Well ventilated;
Plenty of room for more fans;
Lots of room for more drives;

Cons: Big and bulky;
Scratches easily;
Would be nice to have more USB ports;
Odd drive bay caddies;
No external 3.5" bays;
LED lights might be too bright for some.

Other Thoughts: It's really big, red, and beautiful -- really cool looking. Did I mention it's big?

It easily fits my 11.5" long video card with room to spare.

I don't like the hard drive caddies, personally; they have these weird button things that are supposed to go plug into where the screws would go, but it doesn't always work. I ended up just using screws. But because the caddies are rubbery, you just don't get a feeling great stability if the case were to accidentally fall over or impacted.

I thought the cable management was cool, but the only drawback is that you have to remove both lids (on each side) if you need to add/remove an internal drive. So you have to mount the hard drives in the opposite direction than what you might be used to on a traditional/older case. You remove the drive from the left side of the case, and then you plugin or remove the power and data cables from the right side of the case. Somehow this doesn't seem any easier to me? And when I was putting it together, I had it sitting a desk against a wall, forcing me to pick up and turn the case around, over and over, which got very tiring (since the thing is so heavy!).

I notice case makers keep trying to think of ways to make mounting drives easier, but I can't say I've ever been impressed with most of these ideas. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I just prefer to 'bolt' the drives into the case with screws, like it was done since the beginning of the PC. Having said that, the external 5.25" drive bays are easily mountable, so they do a good job on that front, and the face plates easily removable. But because those drives are only held in place on the left side, drives that aggressively spin, like CD/DVD drives, may still need a screw or two to help keep it from vibrating too much.

Well, those are my thoughts. I do highly recommend the case; it's practical for enthusiasts like me who have 6-core processors overclocked and running hot. It had plenty of room for my water cooling system and radiator, and it can even fit a larger one than I have at the top of the case (by removing the other fans).

Because I had to remove a 120mm fan from the back, I was hoping to make use of it in the front of the case, but apparently it uses 140mm. Would be nice if they kept it the same size for easier interchangeability.

Enjoy this beast of a case!

4 out of 5 eggsNZXT Phantom Full Tower Case

Pros: Plenty of room. Easy to work in. Lots of drive bays and expansions. Great looking case and has plenty of fan ports to keep all your components cool and efficient.

Cons: I was shorted a few motherboard screws with the wider heads.

Other Thoughts: Great case for big builds. Will definitely buy from NZXT again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: The red WAS closer to the darker red image than the light red image. Very pleased, it now commands a powerfully red presence of whooshing air. (not from its fans though)

The fans are very quiet. If you get all the fans (except the 240mm side fan, I'm assuming you got the window side panel extra), it doesn't make much noise. The GPU is louder, and my aftermarket CPU cooler as well.

It's heavy. Will deter burglars for sure.

Plenty of space for cable management behind the motherboard. Nonetheless, my cable management is still something never to be discussed, despite the modular PSU...

Cons: Doesn't come with a 5.25" toaster bay.

It's glossy - if you place it in the general direction of a dusty airflow, like a central heating duct, it collects a lot of dust. Easy to clean though, and doesn't collect more dust than anything else on the sides that don't have dusty air blown at them.

Other Thoughts: Cheaper on the manufacturer's website... but also sold out at my time of purchase (cyber deals week).
