4 out of 5 eggsPretty decent case, Looks Great

Pros: The case has tons of space inside for upgrades and good airflow. Looks really nice, I have the white case but I have seen the multiple colors they have available in this model and they all look really nice. The LED's give it a nice look right out of the box.

Cons: The case is rather easy to break and feels cheap in some areas. The door broke off VERY easily and the design caused the case to break where the door attaches.. so no more door, which isn't a big deal as it still looks ok like that. The large top fan (the one with the LEDs) over time got this rattle and vibration to it that I cannot seem to stop. It got to be so annoying that I unplugged the fan completely. The fans also have the cheapest connectors possible. They are very easy to break and whenever the door is opened on the side it is easy to accidentally pull the wires too much

Other Thoughts: Overall I really really do like this case but there are some things in the design that just seem lazy, which is frustrating because this case was not cheap ($140 at the time when I bought it). But other than a few simple things the case is great and really looks nice. This case will do well for the majority of users. I think knowing what I know about this there's a good chance I would consider buying it again if need be.

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT Phantom (White)

Pros: First computer build, and I have to say this case is just awesome. A lot of my friends have mid tower cases but after doing a lot of reading online, it seemed (being a first time builder) that it would just be easier to build my PC if I had a lot more space to work with.
This case has more than enough room to work with plus there is so much room that upgrades in the future can be easily done.

Cons: Only one small thing that wasn't a big deal. The hard drive bays are good but you had to sort of force it to get it to fit. Not a problem but at first I felt like I was going to break the plastic.

Other Thoughts: Doing research to pick parts for my first PC build was a blast but I definitely wanted to see people review their first build. So I hope this was helpful for anyone looking to build their first gaming rig!

4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: Lots of space, lots of airflow, lots of space for cables, bays for days, lots of extra room for addon fans. It fits my dual video cards nicely. The fan control its really nice as well, and it comes with an E sata port as well which is nice. It also is very well designed aesthetically, it looks pretty cool. It is a good case, and will serve most purposes well. I would recommend buying it.

Cons: It shipped and it had some brown residue on the inside of the removable panels. Screws make the paint come off pretty easily as well. The way the side panels open is a bit odd as well, they kind of pry off the front panel. the screws holding the expansion slot covers on the rear are difficult to get at as well. The fans seem to attract more dust than my other computers do, but this is not likely the case's fault

Other Thoughts: This case won't be the best for liquid cooling and it won't support more than 2 way SLI/Crossfire.

There's also a button on the back that I don't know what it does.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Over All

Pros: This case is huge! Exactly what I was looking for in a case. I've done a lot of full tower builds with other cases before this one and this has some of the best cable management and space that I've seen thus far. Plenty of fans to start and room for a lot more. Also, the screwless drive bays are a nice bonus. Was also very reasonably priced for the case that it is

Cons: I'm really happy with this case over all but when the case arrived, I opened it up and one of the thumbscrews was bent. Not a life ender by any means but it kinda makes working on stuff a royal pain in the tookus. It couldn't have happened in shipping either cause the thing was surrounded in styrofoam in the box. So in that regard, I'm kinda disappointed with NZXT for shipping a case with a clearly bent thumb screw and hole. I'd RMA and return it but that would leave me without a computer just for a thumb screw and I really don't feel like doing that.

Other Thoughts: Over all this case is a great buy. Just frustrated that something as simple as a bent thumbscrew was pretty blatantly missed by NZXT. I'm sure this doesn't happen very often though so don't hesitate to get this case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, stylish, plenty of space and features

Pros: Great layout and design. Hard drive bays are easily accessible. The back panel cable management system is stellar. This case has plenty of room for anything you can throw in it and has tons of options for expansion of components and cooling.

Cons: The only con would be if you aren't aware how big a full size tower is. Be sure you have the room for this beast. Otherwise its all you could ask for and more.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Case

Pros: so far i like this case i haven't put any parts in it, but i opened it when i got it threw the 4-7 days egg ship or what ever its called got it in 4 nice shipping speed and the package was taken care of everything was where it was supposed to be nothing lose etc etc, opened case plenty of room its metal so you can ground yourself when you are working on the build. I will add a further review when i get my computer parts i will also be ordering them from Newegg very pleased with this case so far.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: where you sit the power supply it has little rubber pads so your supply wont rattle around and make noise, this is the first time ive seen this and it seems like a good idea.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: I was speechless when I first saw the case when I got it. The size of it is huge compared to my mid-tower case I was using before. I only say this is because this is my first full size tower case.

1) Inside is massive. You can't complain about not having enough space. Plenty of room for my Zalman CNPS9500A cpu fan and I can even add a 200mm side fan with just enough clearance. I can't wait to go dual graphics cards now that I have the room.

2) Cable management is a breeze. Everything can be tucks away on the other side and still be able to put the side panel on.

3) Cooling is very effective, especially if you don't have a large build. Case fan controller is nice too. LEDs dim when you turn the speeds down which is a nice touch.

4) Side panels come off very easily. Using just the middle screw does the job. Now I don't have to worry about losing the top or bottom ones

Cons: My only con for this case is the 200mm fan. You have to use a NZXT 200mm fan. Other brands won't work. I tried a cool master one I had in my previous case with no luck.

Also, putting in a second top 200mm fan can be a pain. Had to move some of the cables for the fan controller around to get the second one to fit.

Other Thoughts: You can't go wrong with this case. If your doing your first custom build or just want to upgrade this is the case for you. Lots of space and plenty of room for future upgrading.

4 out of 5 eggsSpacious, Indeed!

Pros: My case is the black with green accents, so no differences beyond that.

Space should be the only dominant reason to consider this case. I mean there are bigger cases out there to be purchased, but this case falls in the just right category. It is aesthetically pleasing and the build quality is strong. Anything and everything you have in mind in your PC build will fit inside this case with room to spare. The case provides several options for maximum airflow, which can be regulated with the provided fan control. You can easily fit an entry to enthusiast grade water cooling system in this case. It has more than enough storage trays for both SSD/HDDs and five 5.25 expansion bays. You have a great amount of creative room with this case to construct your type of PC.

You really can't ask for more at this price point with all the space it offers.

Cons: The glossy top/front panels are a huge negative. I purchased my case refurbished and the top/front panels where scratched up (deep and light scratches). I contacted NZXT for replacement top/front panels, which NZXT provided free of charge after a 4 week ordeal with them. I just had to pay for the cost of shipping in the end. The glossy finish is attractive, but for how long? You can cause micro abrasions even if you clean it with a fine micro fiber cloth. Why not use a better protective coating on the plastic material, NZXT? Why not provide a matte finish option for this case, NZXT? Also, the power and reset buttons on my case are a bit loose.

If you detest glossy finishes on you tech/peripherals/housings then look somewhere else.

Other Thoughts: To conclude, this is a great case and the minor grievances should not deter from a purchase. If you are looking for something large and spacious with great aesthetics to accommodate your needs then look no further.

Beware of NZXT customer service. The service is there, but they are far too lax in attendance.
