5 out of 5 eggsNZXT - Killer Custom Cases

Pros: -TONS of Space
-A TON of breathing room
-Plenty of Hard Drive Bays, as well as expansion.
-Virtually Quiet. There is a small hum from the fans and CPU fan (AMD Zambezi 8), but from the view of an Audio engineer, this hum practically is not there, so nothing to freak out about.
-Blue LEDs are fantastic.
-Fans keep everything cool. My system stays at about a 28-30C AVERAGE. Only my CPU and GPU get higher due to their jobs and projects I put them through (Cinema Resolution video graphics, Digital Graphic Design, Music Production, Film Editing, Gaming), but even then, the fans do an awesome job. I did upgrade to one more side vent 200mm fan from the NZXT site to compensate for the extra heat my CPU and GPU produce and it does a fantastic job.
-Easy to take apart, reassemble (cleaning, dusting, etc)
-DUST GUARDS ARE LITERALLY PIECES OF WIZARDRY. Virtually no dust gets in the computer. I've only had to dust it out once over the course of a year and there was practically nothing inside my computer. So you literally just have to wipe the dust guards and you're fine (most of the time).
-Fan Control Sliders
-ESATA front port
-USB 3.0 and 2.0 front ports.
-Nice power buttons and even has a reset button(There is a con about the reset button, however, see below.)
-This case is a full tower, so it is MASSIVE.

Cons: My only cons after a year and a month of owning this case:
-Initially taking apart to install the computer, the paint job seemed to be slightly still fresh inside the thumb screw holes. Unscrewing required an actual screw driver as opposed to just my thumb, but after that, everything was easy sailing.
-The light for the two 100mm Side fans blinks occasionally, had to mess with wire organization and placement to get it to stop.
-THE RESET BUTTON: This is an internal computer reset. The power button works normally if you press it once, it will ask your OS to shut down properly. The reset button, however, will just do it regardless of what your OS is doing. It is easy to just slip and hit it as well. However, it is possible to just not plug in the reset into your Motherboard, but depending where you place your computer, the situation of only hitting it by accident has only happened twice to me, and I've been able to avoid it, so it doesn't take off an egg for me.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic case. I will be going to NZXT for all my cases from now on. This case was for my first custom build and it does an amazing job. I would recommend this to a friend, family or anyone building a computer, even someone experienced.\

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: 1 - A lot of room for not only a big GPU, but also a lot of room for cable management. Also, it really doesn't weigh that much

2 - Front door for hiding drive bay tools.

3 - Lots of fan slots.

4 - Built in fan controller (Haven't checked to see if mine works yet because I have a drive bay NZXT fan controller)

5 - Tool less 3.5 inch drive bay slots on the inside, so when I installed my hard drive, it took no effort at all.

6 - A LED on/off switch on the back for the top 200m LED fan.

7 - Rubber mounts for your power supply.

8 - USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports for a multiple variety and a sata port on the front.

9 - (My favorite thing about it) When pulling off the side doors, you can just take off the top and bottom screws and use the middle screw only and for the middle screw, you only have to pull it down to take the sides off. You don't even have to unscrew it.

Cons: 1 - I wish the door on the front had like rubber pads where it closes because when I just release it, it smacks shut because of the magnets and it's loud. Also I wish I could leave it open instead of having to hold it open because if I open it all the way and let go of it, it'll close automatically.

2 - I wish the LED button on the back would work with multiple fans because I planned on getting another blue LED 200m for right next to my other 200m.

3 - None else I can really think of. I guess I wish it had a side window because I really wanted this tower, but with a side window instead of the black steel mesh.

Other Thoughts: I'd definitely recommend this case to anyone who loves the sleek alien design and I'll definitely be buying from NZXT again.

4 out of 5 eggsDream Case

Pros: Ever since this case's release in 2010, I've told myself that this would be the case for me. Three years later, I finally bought the case and was not disappointed. This case has more than ample room for just about anything. With a modular power supply, cable management is a breeze, and with all fans installed, airflow is excellent. The best feature about the case though, is it's gorgeous design. Seeing friends' faces light up when they see my PC just never gets old with this thing.

Cons: One of the only complaints about this case is it's flimsy hard drive trays. Another thing I really dislike is the use of plastic for the front cover. From far away, it's not that noticeable, but it just feels a bit cheapy. Another major complaint is the lack of support for 280mm radiators; NZXT missed out on a lot of good coolers with the exclusion of that.

Other Thoughts: Other than that, this case is perfect, and I can definitely see myself continuing to use this case for builds for years to come. I don't see why people keep bad-talking the fan controller, as it works perfectly fine as long as the fans you buy are new-ish. I wish there were more USB 3.0 ports, and maybe an SD card reader, but oh well. Still can't stress enough how beautiful this case is.

4 out of 5 eggsGood looking case but would not buy again

Pros: Great looking case. It has plenty of space and accommodations to fit pretty much any setup.

Cons: The Cutout for the back of the cpu is about a half an inch off center so if you wanted to fit an aftermarket fan after you have built the system it is rather difficult to get the back plate for the cooler on. Also the Fan controller is garbage. It flashes all time and when it flashes it turns the fans off. When i am gaming and have the fans on full its gets really annoying when the fans go from full speed to completely off.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Choice

Pros: Sleek, elegant design
Spacious and ventilated
No problems with wire management
Great price

Cons: I might have been better suited with a mid-sized tower

Other Thoughts: A really great case, I love the looks and would recommend it in a heart beat.

4 out of 5 eggsEasy to Work WIth

Pros: The case is very large, and has enough space for anything you could possibly want. You can fit the largest graphics cards in multi-card setups There are 8 HDD cages, and a special bracket that can mount 2 SSDs. There are 5 - 5.25" bays, what you could possibly use them all for, I have no idea.
The cable management system is really convenient, and the mostly tool less design makes installing components a snap.

Cons: -It sucks that you are constrained to NZXT brand fans for some of the slots.
-The HDD mounting brackets are a mild hassle.
-Front Panel ports are a little unreliable.

Other Thoughts: This case is an absolute dream to work with, especially if you have a modular power supply.

If you ever have to move it, you can skip working out for the day. It's heavy, about 25-30 pounds depending on which components you have installed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking and Lots of Space

Pros: Tonnes of space! (easily fit my PNY gtx 770, which is close to a foot long)

Easy to setup built in fan controller (although it uses only 3 pin fans)

The 4 included fans are decent.

This is a pro to me But others maybe not. This thing is massive! I personally love it!!

Looks amazing on my desk!!

Cons: Not the greatest when it comes to using AIO coolers...
I am using a Corsair H55 on my I5 and you cannot fit a push/pull config inside case using top rear fan slot unless you use either a 200mm side fan or no side fan. So forces you to choose between a 200mm fan, moving cooler to front of case(requires modding), or using only push or pull config.

Also the mounting hardware for bigger coolers IE H100 is kinda cheap and was put in as an afterthought IMO. Ive seen lots of people do it though so if this is your intention just do some info digging before buying all your pieces.

LED switch on back is cool but should have been wired for more than one fan.

The only other gripe i have is you are forced to buy certain NZXT fans to fit the 200mm(193mm) and 230mm(fan mount holes are unique) fan slots. Typical fans will not fit. They are not super hard to find but it is an annoyance. It does say this in details of case if you look hard enough.

Other Thoughts: All in all i think this is another great case from NZXT.
If the look puts you off check out the NZXT 820 case and if size is to much look at NZXT 410. The also have some middle ground ones too.

1 out of 5 eggsFan controller is awful

Pros: The case is cool and big.

Cons: I would not recommend this case. The fan controller routinely goes out, and the company doesn't seem to have ones that work reliably.

I'm on the third one in a year and a half.

1. Original worked for a couple months.

2. They sent one that worked but wouldn't change the speeds at all, only ran the fans on slow.

3. They sent a third one that's DOA.

Other Thoughts: Something wrong with a company who can make a decent looking case but have the component fan controller not work at all.

I suggested that if they can't get it right this FOURTH time they need to give me a whole new case. I don't have time to play games with inferior horrible quality parts on a case that costs over100 bucks.
